Overall, I'd rate this property 3 stars. It wasn't a bad stay, but it didn't meet the standard we've come to expect from other highly rated VRBOs.The location was convenient, there was a covered carport (very cool), & the kitchen had plenty of dishes & cookware. Washer / Dryer was very nice!Unfortunately, several issues added up. The kitchen trash had already been used when we arrived, the Keurig needed descaling & the coffee tasted off, there was noticeable dust throughout the home, cobwebs on light fixtures, dusty furniture, & numerous mosquitoes inside the house. The kitchen was the biggest disappointment. While it had dishes & cookware, there were no cooking basics. The pepper shaker was empty, there were no spices, seasonings, cooking oils, or pantry staples. If you plan to cook, bring absolutely everything you'll need because nothing is provided. The kitchen drawers don't have proper slides & tend to pull completely out, making them awkward to use.Bathroom amenities were limited to tiny travel-size shampoo & conditioner, so bring all of your own toiletries. The porch has no outdoor seating, which is a missed opportunity given Florence's beautiful weather.Communication could be better as we didn't hear from the host until the day before arrival, guidebook was not available to preview.None of these issues alone would have ruined our stay, but together they made the property feel less cared for than many other VRBOs we've stayed in.
