Planning your vacation at Semper TLF provides travelers with a comfortable, cozy setting. Whatever you choose to do, the memories will last a lifetime.
The space
The 4th bedroom is a bunk room and not private.

BOAT SLIP!!! Need I say more? With a quick, flat 5 minute walk to the boat dock, it will be easy to access your water toys anytime you want.

Please note from Memorial Day to Labor Day only weekly rentals unless special arrangements are made. Please contact me for availability.
Guest access
Guests will have access to all areas of the cabin except the garage which is locked for owner's storage, a game room closet and a hallway closet.
Other things to note
Bass Lake is AWESOME!!! Whether you are young or just young at heart there is so much to do here. Walk, swim, hike, the Market is close, there is bakery for your donut/cinnamon roll craving, boating, fishing, jetsking, kayaking, floating, great restaurants and shops. It's all here. You can relax in the mountains without having to go camping and 'rough it'.

Excellent communication with property manager. Check in easy with just using door code. Check in at 4 o’clock is too late. Basically clean but carpets filthy. Not enough silverware or cups or towels. Curtains to not completely cover windows. Air conditioner works. That’s a plus.

We were sent the codes ahead so we were able to just let ourselves in the house. The kitchen had plenty of pots, pans, dishes and utensils, everything we needed. There was plenty of seating for everyone.I brought some games but my grandchildren found UNO there before we broke ours out. There are a ton of movies which they looked through but never ended up watching as they were too busy interacting with cousins. The bedrooms were spacious and the bunk room was a hit with the kids. The adults enjoyed the pool table and we got around to barbequing only once. The gas grill (which is the one my husband used) worked great. We didn't do any laundry but there are machines there.We walked down to the boat slip but never ended up using it. The resort was very convenient for our boat needs.Everyone had a great time and decided that lake life should become an annual event.

Perfect cabin for lake getaway

Came here with a group of friends for an event. We had a blast! Cabin is in a great location, clean with everything we needed. Would definitely come back!

Summer vacation stay

This was a great spot for us to stay at! There are plenty of beds. Location is great, short walk to the market and restaurants. We really liked the walk to the dock to watch the sunsets. The backyard had plenty of space for us to have our family dinners.

Nice place. Liked that it included boat slip. Didn't like that there were no extra paper towels, kitchen towels, trash bag liners, wraps, foils, etc. I would have brought my own if I had known ahead.

Annual Family Trip

This is the first time I stayed at the Semper Fi. The amenities were great! The layout was great! Some spent time playing pool and while others were playing board/card games and watching Netflix movies. Very relaxing. We were bummed that the Pines wouldn’t sell us day passes to use the pool and unfortunately, didn’t make it to the lake in time for decent parking but all in all had a GREAT time! I would highly suggest Semper Fi!

Fun time for the 4th

We had a total of 13 guests, ranging from age 4 - 68 stay at the home for 7 days. The home was big enough and spread out enough that we never felt crowded or cramped up. Location was good as well, a little over 5 min walk to the pines village and about the same distance to the dock. We were able to watch the fireworks from the dock, which made our trip complete. There were some minor issues but the owner quickly took care of them. Home is fully stocked with everything that you may need. The pool table was a hit as well. There was a heat wave (triple digits) all week, but the homes AC kept up the whole time and we never were uncomfortable. Thanks again to the Semper Fi family, and thank you for your service.

From the moment we arrived until the bittersweet departure, every element of our stay at this lakeside retreat was infused with comfort, charm, and the unmistakable touch of genuine care. First and foremost, our host deserves a standing ovation. Their dedication to ensuring our experience was unforgettable was evident from the initial booking inquiry to the heartfelt farewell. Not only were they prompt and accommodating in their communication, but Rachel went above and beyond to personalize our stay, catering to every whim and fancy. As for the VRBO itself, it was a true gem. Tucked away in a serene corner of Bass Lake, the house exuded a cozy ambiance that instantly made us feel at home. Spacious yet intimate, the interior was tastefully decorated with a rustic charm that perfectly complemented the natural beauty of the surroundings. The attention to detail was impeccable, with every amenity carefully curated to ensure maximum comfort and convenience. Tons of beds to accomodate the singles and the couples! Very clean property w/boat slip access

The house is extremely clean and well maintained. The property manager was very good to communicate with....I messaged her numerous times before our trip w/various questions and she always got right back to me. I didn't give full stars as to the accuracy of the listing because from the listing, I had the impression that the house was on the lake w/the slip immediately outside. It would have been good if it was made clear that the slip is a distance away. It worked out fine, but wasn't what I expected. Would definitely go back though.

Excellent Large Group Property

This house is great for big groups! There was plenty of space for 3 families of 4 to enjoy just hanging at the house. The house is in easy walking distance to the boat slip as well as the shops and marina. Our host was attentive and responsive. Also, she was understanding when we couldn't get back to her quickly due to the expected spotty cell sevice. We will absolutley try to stay here again in the future!!!

Great family cabin.

Loved the cabin and the layout. The boat dock was nice. It would have been nice if the backyard had been swept or blown off and the tables wiped down. Also we found a few spiders and webs inside. Overall I would stay again.

Great Bass Lake neighborhood. Very peaceful. Great house!

This is a great Bass Lake neighborhood and very nice big roomy home. Very nice Lake house/cabin interior! Only issue was the trash outside on the street when I arrived (which I picked up) and backyard barbecue is pretty bad. Everything else was great.

Lovely area and home. It’s Bass Lake so can’t really go wrong. I’d give it a 5 but for the cost, expect more. You can tell this is just turn and burn. Appliances broken. Drains and plumbing issues. Broken lights. Bear cans got trashed every night. Some basic up keep and a small investment and it’d be a better rating. If you’re choosing this place because of the private boat dock and proximity just know it’s a bit misleading. It’s a good quarter mile. It’s not right there. Lots of parking though for a tight area. Neighborhood is lovely. A/C was good for a heater of a week. Great upstairs room to throw all the kids together.

Excellent summer vacation

Nice summer vacation. Loved the large cabin style house. The game room was lots of fun as well. Everything in the house was clean upon arrival. Easy check in and out. Over all a great stay. Would definitely recommend this property.

Labor Day Bass Lake

This house is a perfect rental for the Bass lake area. The location to the Pines resort where you can rent boats and more makes it an ideal location The house was perfect for our group as it had a large TV/billiard room for gathering and enough seating for eating meals together. Julie was wonderful to work with.

Our Home Away From Home

We stay at this house every summer we come up to Bass Lake. The house is always clean and well kept. Everything you can think of is provided. Julie is amazing with communication and accommodations. It is our home away from home.
