Rating this condo as an average stay versus our expectations. This is the first time I’ve been disappointed in the many times we’ve rented a VRBO property. I’m finding that owners who manage their own properties, do a nicer job than PM companies. We had a short 3 night stay, so the things that were less than optimum were not worth contacting property mgt people for. Entry code for check-in was wrong, so we did have to call PM to gain entry. Cleanliness was not great. Dead flys on the floor, long black hair strand in bathroom sink and in one of the beds. Centipede crawling up the wall behind the sofa. Balcony was dirty so we had to wipe down table, chairs and furniture to sit out there. Also, there were things in the condo that didn’t function well. The screen out to the balcony did not close all the way. One of the toilets sometimes didn’t fill tank up and we had to mess with it. The same bathroom tub didn’t drain when taking a shower, so water gathered up around ankles. The mattresses were not very comfortable and the full size bed in the bunk room didn’t have a fitted sheet on the mattress. I don’t like leaving reviews that aren’t glowing!! But, the PM Mgt company needs to know what to do to improve this property - and potential renters need to know what others have experienced.
