ESTE CONDOMINIO TIENE UN REQUISITO DE SÁBADO A SÁBADO DURANTE LA TEMPORADA ALTA. ¡SERVICIO GRATUITO DE PLAYA!
Esta unidad actualizada en el complejo de habitantes de Surf es muy grande. Tiene capacidad para 6 personas con una cama King size en el dormitorio principal, una Queen y una cama Twin en el dormitorio de invitados y un sofá cama doble en la sala de estar. Este condominio no está configurado como cualquier otro en el complejo. Las vistas desde el balcón extra grande se disfrutan desde la sala de estar, el comedor y la cocina extra grande con gabinetes nuevos y refrigerador. La sala de estar tiene un área de bar incorporada que recorre todo el ancho de la habitación con todos los gabinetes nuevos, fregadero y refrigerador. Este condominio nunca ha sido un condominio de alquiler, por lo que es de esperar que esté súper bien abastecido para una estadía familiar. This was our third trip to Fort Walton Beach and our favorite stay in this location. The master bedroom bed was very soft and comfortable. The condo is fully stocked and spacious. The included beach service and in condo washer and dryer are huge perks. The beach service guy, Joey, is nice and helpful. The beach was less crowded than the neighboring condo beach areas. The host(s) are exceptionally easy to communicate with. The listing is entirely accurate. Everything was as expected. I would absolutely stay here again.

The cleaning teamNeeds to look at things like that for tenets coming in for a stay. We did find mold on the lime squeezer . Everything should be taken out of the cabinets and drawers and put in dishwasher to be sanitized.We love the condo because of all of the amenities it has and we love the view of the beach from the dining room table we are booked to come this September for the month.It is our happy place .Thank you

Another Vacation at SD in the books!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have enjoyed numerous stays at this condo over the past several years. It is one of the largest 2 bedroom Condos right on the beach with great views of the water, sunrises, and sunsets. Large balcony and this one has a container full of beach toys, noodles, etc. And this is the only one at Surf Dweller that has the Kitchen and Dining areas as well as the Living Room facing the beach. One of the best equipped kitchen of any of the condos we've rented in this complex. Has just about anything you can think of to cook meals and plenty of storage containers. It is very close to one of our favorite restaurants, Stewby's as well as groceries and other attractions. I believe in years past all of the Surf Dweller's dryer vents are scheduled to have the ducts cleaned out. The dryer dries but takes longer than it has in the past so I think having the vent cleaned out would improve the efficiency. Beds are comfortable but they are pretty high and have stools so if this is a problem for you physically then just be aware of it. Blackout curtains in second bedroom were added this year and helpful to minimize the walkways lighting, which was always a problem in the past. The keyless entry didn't work every time but Austin was quick to come and after several attempts to fix it the property management replaced it and we had no more problems. Joey was a wonderful beach service guy. We also had our families 50th, 25th, and 15th vow renewal on the beach. Hurricane didn't affect us very much. A few details to let Chris know about but no deal breakers. Can't fix what they don't know about. We will be back at Surf Dweller next year.

Condo 507 Surf Dweller

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have enjoyed our stay at the Surf Dweller for the past 30 yrs and in 507 for the past 3 yrs. It has a well equipped kitchen and has a lot of extras throughout the condo. We have always enjoyed our stays here and look forward to renting again. This year our friends stayed a week in June and we stayed a week in July., as well as all four of us stayed the month of September. Our friends didn’t have any problems in June that we experienced in July. Some of which is not solely in the control of the owners of 507 but is a concern that the HOA should be aware. We have met and talked to some of the Board members and they addressed some of our concerns and assured us that things are being taken care of. The things that we would like to see improved in 507 we think should be easy fixes.In July and again in September there was a smell of urine when we walked in the door. It wasn’t there the whole month but definitely present the first two days.Don’t know if someone brought a pet of it is simply the master toilet flange or O ring seal has broken.Maybe maintenance could check on it. The hall bath has a new toilet so maybe it isn’t seated properly. Who knows, but smell is unpleasant at first and we hope the cause is found and corrected. The floors are better than in July, but maybe a steam mop would clean them better so walking around barefooted didn’t result in black feet and it wouldn’t require any more time than a conventional mop to clean the tile floors. The toaster works but it is a little wonky . We started to replace it as a gift but had some unexpected things pop up and never got around to it. And lastly, the rug in the living area needs to be steam cleaned. It is full of sand , it has been soiled due to dirty feet and possibly pets urine. Overall the condo is spacious ,comfortable and has everything you can think of and then some. If feels like home away from home and we can’t wait to return next ye

We stayed a week this month but will be back for the month of September.This visit the unit and service was not up to par.1.Toliet seat in master was broken and took 3 days to get repaired. Did the cleaning person not notice and report? Why did it take 3 days to have repaired.2. Cono floors were dirty. If you walked in socks or barefooted you had black feet. Tea pot appeared to have rust in it. The general cleanliness just was very poor.3. Sink stopper in master was broken wouldn't hold water.4. Guest toilet had to be tightened to the floor.5. Blood stain on pillow sham and bedspread in master.6. One of the evaluators was inop for entire week and I understand from an owner it been that way for some time.7. Walkways are incredibly dirty and need power washing.8. Only 1 parking pass was issued, however patrons that rented from other agencies still received 2.9. This condo is comfortable and well stocked but needs a deep cleaning. Not what we expect for the price.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at the Surf Dweller Condos for over 25 years and this unit several times in recent years. It is well equipped, especially the kitchen. The reconfiguration of the unit has its pluses and minuses but we like it and being able to eat while looking out over the water is a plus. A personal preference would be that all the units use black-out curtains in the bedrooms. And a recommendation to the cleaning crew would be to double check the tea kettle and the Keurig to make sure water isn't left in them. Renters don't know how long the water has been there and the inside of the kettle needed some attention when we got there. Otherwise, no complaints. It is a lovely unit right on the beach and very spacious. The owners have lots of little extras available to use. Close to one of our favorites, Stewby's and just about anywhere else you'd like to eat. We are beach people so don't spend a lot of time doing other activities but there is plenty to do with kids and adults nearby. FWB is becoming more crowded as more people discover our paradise. The new proposals for Santa Rosa Blvd concern me with more and more people renting. However, this has nothing to do with the owner of this condo, just an observation on the amount of traffic on the Island and between there and Destin nowadays. We love FWB and have never vacationed anywhere else in Florida. Definitely recommend Surf Dweller and this unit.

Great Stay at the Beach

We had a great stay in this wonderful condo right on the beach. Aside from the view of the water and beach, the king-sized bed in the master bedroom was the most comfortable I've ever slept in at any other beach condo. The whole condo was comfortable to spread out in and relax inside and out. There is a full-size dining table on the balcony and one inside as well. The kitchen if fully stocked with any cooking pot/utensil you might need. It's also nice that while not directly across from the elevator, it is just a few steps from it, right in the center of the building, so it's easy access to the elevators and therefore the passageway out onto the beach as well. This is a great condo for a beach week or beach month or however long you want to stay. It's very comfortable.

Condo great - Condo complex not so great

I don’t have a lot of complaints about the actual condo itself. It was very clean and very large. It had a great view. The only negatives about the condo is that there was no hot water in the sink in the kitchen. Also, the ice maker in the wet bar did not work. Otherwise, it was fully stocked. Beds were comfortable. The negative side of this, unfortunately for the owners of this condo, are things that they do not have direct control over. The complex I was not impressed with at all. The elevators were a huge issue every single day. They broke down every day. Some days we had to carry our beach wagon up and down stairs. The pool was subpar. Parking was not great. One night we got home and there were no parking spots left. We had to make our own parking spot (along with three other vehicles). The free beach service was done a little weird in my opinion. Unfortunately, I would not stay here again. Not because of the condo itself, but because the complex needs to get its stuff together.

Second bathroom sink was stopped up from day one. Ice machine at bar does not work and small fridge at bar doesn’t get very cold. Screen door at living area doesn’t work very well. All of these items didn’t matter a great deal except sink problem and all of these items would be easily fixed so still a great place to stay. The view and large patio were awesome. Thanks for a great stay as we got married on the beach in front of the condo. Great memories!

It is so beautiful here inside and out. We have had many different condos in this complex and all have been great. You have the comfort of everything at your finger tips on a quite part of the beach. We starting coming here years ago when our kids were little now this year is our 1st time with another couple it was great! Alicia and her staff are great and we will defiantly be returning again.
