Fairy Tales Cabin is a fun themed cabin surrounded by mature trees that is less than 1 mile off of Hwy 259, providing a convenient location to all of the activities in and around Hochatown, Beavers Bend State Park, and Broken Bow Lake.

The Booking Guest must be at least 22 years old to book this property and must be present during the reserved dates. These are terms that are agreed in the required Rental Agreement.

Guests are required to sign a Rental Agreement with Great Escapes Homes. We use an approved API-connected software provider, OwnerRez, and will provide guests an OwnerRez Rental Agreement link to the rental agreement after booking.

Events are not allowed on the property and the maximum guest count must be adhered which is 12 people for this property.

This property allows pets up to 2 dogs for a pet fee. Additional dogs must be requested and will incur an additional fee. Bringing of pets without approval will incur a pet fee of twice the normal rate, charged to the security deposit held for the booking. The pet fee is automatically added to the booking total when pets are included in the guest count at the time of booking. If a pet is added after the time of booking, a payment request will be sent for the pet fee.

Will recommend

This was a wonderful stay and we may come back at the end of the year. The only thing I was disappointed with is that the pictures showed bathtubs and the cabin does not have bathtubs. Also the rooms seem larger in the pictures. Overall, we had a blast and highly recommend this place.

Fun last minute getaway

We had a great stay. The pictures did not do this beautiful cabin justice. They give more than enough needed for our stay. From trash bags to towels to shampoo and soap. Great communication with the host. Word of advice is to screenshot or download the guest handbook before going up there, the cell service isnt great and the wifi password is in the hamdbook. Other than that its great cabin for kids.

This was a cute cabin, the things I didn’t like was there wasn’t any trash bags, the floors was peeling off and they got on our feet and went into the jacuzzi, one of the beds weren’t clean, had crumbs on the sheets. But overall it was a good trip.

Wasp

The house had a hidden source or nest of wasps. The kids were terrified to stay in the house due to this reason. We had booked the property for 3 nights but due to wasp issue ended up leaving it one day before.The property manager and owner were good with communication.

Wasn’t cleaned properly

When we arrived to the cabin there was an empty beer box inside the dining room floor. Beer cans were left on the ground outside. There was also produce thrown out into the yard near the entrance. There was sticky pop/juice on the wall/baseboards/floor of the bunk room. all around the mattresses (between mattress and frame) was super nasty. It had leaves, food crumbs, all sorts of debris. It appeared as if it never gets vacuumed or cleaned… just sheets changed. Which is rough since the mattress sits on there and there’s no barrier between the chests and that wooden areas. the was so much dirt around the bar stools on the floor. I’m guessing the only area that got swept and mopped was the back walking path throughout the cabin. I did reach out to the owners w/pics when we arrived. Hopefully they’ll get it squared away and the cleanliness is better for guests going forward. I left the low review simply bc I still paid a cleaning fee for an unclean cabin.

Kid friendly house with so much to do!

We stayed here with our full family (grandparents, aunt/uncles, and our children). Our kids ranged from 2-7 years old. This was a very family friendly home. The details of this house were adorable! Each room had a fairy tail theme. The kids bunk room was missing one curtain out of three windows. All the kids slept in there. There was also a Packman machine in their room, which they loved. The laundry room was large enough for a pack n play with a Slumber Pod for the 2 year old to sleep. The kitchen was well equipped with cooking and serving ware. The Blackstone was awesome to cook dinner on. The playground was used often by the kids. We brought our dog, which was so nice to have him with us. There are rocks all the way around the property, which hurt his feet after a long day of walking, but he was okay after a day of rest. We noticed other dog hair in the house, which doesn’t bother us, but could bother someone who is allergic to dogs. The neighborhood was very quiet. Houses in the street are in the process of being built but we saw no workers during our weekend stay. There were previous reviews about wasps but the owners reassured us they were gone and they were. No wasps! The host provided a virtual booklet with a ton of ideas of things to do in the area and instructions on how to work items at the house. It was great!
