Cozy and clean waterfront home on Raber Bay. Enjoy the view from the large living room windows, front deck or lawn. Enjoy kayaking, fishing, boating, birdwatching and more in a peaceful setting. The shoreline is a mixture of rocks, sand and clay. Water shoes are recommended.
The home is a single level home requiring 3 steps to enter the home. The home has a wood burning fireplace and a large laundry room. A fish cleaning shack is located on the property.
This amazing getaway is positioned at the end of a short, private road. The driveway is circular and there is ample parking for vehicles and trailers. The home is conveniently located between the 2 public boat launches in Raber. A private boat launch is just down the road for a minimal fee.
The home is equipped with WiFi and a smart TV in the living room. A mini split air conditioning unit cools the main living areas of the home. Each bedroom has a fan for your comfort.
***During the winter, Raber Bay can be accessed from the property by snowmobile, cross country skis or snowshoes.
During warmer months (when the ice is gone!), a dock is on site for your small fishing boat. 4 kayaks and 2 paddle boards are available for guests to explore the nearby island, shore line and bay. An outdoor firepit is available for guests to enjoy. Firewood is provided for guests.
Drummond Island, Sault Ste. Marie and St. Ignace are all within an hour drive from the home.
**We allow a well behaved dog with a $25 per night pet fee**

The view was amazing! They even made sure we had some dry firewood for the fireplace! It was so quiet and peaceful and the bed was amazing, we slept better than we had in ages. Can't wait to go back!

Beautiful location, very clean and comfortable. The house is stocked with everything you may need on your stay (except your food)! The host was very easy to get ahold of and replaced a broken coffee maker within an hour of me texting. Plus, the beds were super comfortable! There was also a dock to tie our duck boat up to AND it’s pet friendly. It was a perfect stay. We will be back!!

House was beautiful, clean and very well kept - lots of extra amenities (if you forgot something, no worries, they probably have it there for you!). We brought our dog - they even had dog bowls there in case you forgot those! Plenty of room as we had six adults and a big dog and no one got in each other’s way. Lots of outside space as well with a side, front and back deck - a good amount of outside chairs for lounging - and they also provided the wood for the indoor fireplace and the firepit. The kayaks were an extra bonus as well and you can’t beat the view. Definitely recommend- we will be back again! Thanks Missy and Don - you have a lovely place!

I really want to leave a bad review so I’ll be able to rent again but I can’t say anything bad about. This house was Great! It had everything you need. Pots, pans, towels, kayaks, nice circle driveway for parking,etc. Very close to the family we were visiting and a wonderful view on the water. It’s really nice! I plan to stay again and hope this house is available when we’re back in the area. The owners were easy to communicate thru email.

Very pleasantly surprised. The home is extremely clean. The kitchen was was well supplied with every utensil that might be needed. The check in process was very simple. We did have one problem (lost house key) that very easy and quickly resolved.

Everything was amazing in this beautiful , peaceful setting. The use of 2 kayaks was a great adventure for my granddaughter and I. We made our own meals and went to Raber Bay Bar & Restaurant once, which had great food. Such a memorable stay! Thank You!

Beautiful home and property. Watch the ships go by as you relax on the back deck. Binoculars are provided! Get gas and groceries before you arrive as there aren’t many places to get them in the area.

We had a wonderfully relaxing vacation at this rental. Excellent communication from the hosts. Well appointed rental with everything you need including beach towels, laundry detergent, and much more. We loved using the kayaks and stand up paddle boards everyday. Will book again.

Stayed for a fishing tournament. House was clean and perfect lots of parking for four boats trailers. Raber bay launch is very close. The AC in the house was great after a long hot day on the water.

Great Vacation Spot

House is very comfortable, a lot of room to move around in. Very clean, peaceful and quiet location. Bonfire pit with firewood and arranged for us to use. Comfortable and clean outdoor furniture. We used the kayaks and also fished from the dock. I liked the convenience of hangers in the closets and hooks to hang stuff. Kitchen was well stocked. Board games and books available. We loved our stay and would return.

Beautiful escape

Visited for a birthday celebration complete with some boating/fishing and had a great time! The house was very clean and well supplied with all the amenities one would need for a home away from home. Hosts were very helpful and responsive - overall a great place and wonderful vacation!
