The Grove is the most tucked-away home in the Blue Morning collection — a modern A-frame with a quieter rhythm, wooded surroundings, and a layout that works beautifully for families, couples with kids, and guests who want a more private mountain stay.

Inside, the home centers around a bright great room, a hanging woodburning fireplace, comfortable gathering space, and an upstairs reading nook made for books, coffee, games, and long unhurried mornings.

The home has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, with two king sleeping spaces and an upstairs four-twin room that works especially well for kids, cousins, or friends traveling together. Shared spaces include a full kitchen, dining area, smart TVs, YouTube TV, high-speed WiFi, laundry, linens, towels, and family-friendly essentials.

Outside, the private deck, in-deck hot tub, fire pit, gas grill, and forest setting make The Grove feel restorative without feeling remote — close to Boone, Valle Crucis, skiing, hikes, restaurants, shops, and High Country day trips.

The Grove is dog-friendly and includes a Level 2 EV charger. It is part of Blue Morning, a small collection of modern mountain homes close enough for shared trips while still giving each home its own space.

Perfect Relaxing Stay

Very clean and well kept vacation property. We loved the decorations and all the little details. Owners were very responsive. We had a wonderful stay. Beds were very comfortable.

What a weekend!

The A-frame made our first visit to the high country an amazing one. There were a few storms during our stay and the house was very hygge. It left us wanting to build an A-frame for ourselves! Well equipped and toddler friendly, even had a baby gate for the stairs.

I cannot recommend this property enough. Every detail was thought out in making this a great place to stay. Above and beyond most rentals and beautiful home close to town. Highly recommended.

Good Times

A very nice stay. The main shower/bathroom is amazing. Excellent space all round the house bed rooms, kitchen, etc. Will be booking again for the winter season. 10out 10.

Meticulous and tranquil stay

Brian and Jenifer are excellent hosts and provide a beautiful tranquil experience in their meticulously stocked and decorated A-frame. Our entire family had a wonderful time cozying up by the unique fireplace, playing multiple games provided, and walking around the beautiful property. Our toddler loved climbing up and reading bedtime stories in the loft area. Instructions and communication was top notch. The concencus from the entire family was that we would love to return and stay longer.

Took my husband for his birthday. Great open space in main living area. Hot tub was excellent. Close to everything we wanted to do....ski, tube, and even downtown Boone. We will definitely book again.

wonderful stay

we spent a long weekend in one of the Aframes on this property. It was wonderful and exceeded our expectations. THe outdoor hot tub was wonderful- used it 2-3 x day for the entire stay. Isolated but reasonably close to Boone - and Banner Elk. On our list to return this fall . HIGHLY recommend

Amazing house

This house is amazing, the owners have thought of everything you might need and the kitchen is fully stocked if you want to cook. We couldn't recommend this house more and we're looking forward to trying out the other 2 A-frames on the property.

Perfect secluded mountain home for our 40th wedding anniversary

Property was as advertised. Brian was a great host and provided a lot of good local suggestions and kept in contact as needed. Very secluded and beautiful home. Very clean. Hot tub was fantastic for the cooler evenings. Huge show was a very nice plus. Close enough to town, but far enough away as well. Plenty of amenities for staying in as well. Enjoyed our stay very much.

Wonderful every time!

We love these A frames nestled in the woods! We've stayed in 2 out of 3 of them and we have been pleased every time. It is always clean, the listen is well stocked with utensils, and the playrooms are perfect for kiddos. It's nice that they are also pretty friendly. I would HIGHLY recommend any one of the cabins. We've made it an annual trip now!

We are a family who fell in love with the High Country after moving to North Carolina. Blue Morning grew from the idea of creating modern mountain homes for our own family, where we could gather, slow down, explore the woods, and feel close to Boone, Valle Crucis, and the best parts of the mountains. We designed the A-frames from the ground up and hope they feel as memorable to stay in as they were to create.
