Great place to stay, and loved being right in the town square. Farmers market, bakery, great restaurant (Garden of Eatin), and even a bowling alley. Plenty of space, and cool vibe in the apartment. Just make sure you are alright with stairs. We really enjoyed our stay.

Our second visit to the Honey House and it was a perfect place to stay during our Mother and Daughters curling weekend in Centerville. We loved the new mirrors and coffee table! We enjoyed watching the Olympics and relaxing in the comfortable living room! We enjoyed shopping, lunch at Mike’s Bar and dessert from the bakery. We will be back next year!

We booked this place because it is in the heart of Galesville and within walking distance to all the downtown attractions. Love the people and the town. What a wonderful place to be apart of.

Quick stay

We only used this place for a place to sleep while we were there to help my brother's family move. It was very comfortable and clean. My nieces loved the bunk bed. There was some noise from the next door bar on Saturday night, but it didn't keep the kids awake so all was good . I would stay again if I'm ever in the area.

Lovey place great character

Quaint and cozy, old historic meets modern amenities. Raw brick is charming,Bed was comfy, bathroom is lovely rustic with antique sink and Lion Claw tub. Adorable sun room to sip coffee. Very nice galley kitchen fully stocked.

Mothers & Daughters Weekend

The Honey House was a perfect place for our Mothers & Daughter curling bonspiel weekend! Convenient and cozy, we loved the decor and appreciated the provided coffee! Adding a coffee table or something to place beverages while you’re chatting in the living room and a few more mirrors are my only suggestions to tweak the amenities. We enjoyed a beer and pizza at Mike’s Bar. Thank you!

Great location

Great location. Host was communicative. Unfortunately there is a very bright street lamp right outside of the king bed room and the bunk bed room. The bedroom never became dark enough for a good nights sleep.

Hey Beth! Thanks for the feedback. We do have room darkening + blackout curtains on all the windows and have never had a complaint about the street lights in the past. I'm wondering if they changed the light bulbs or something as you are the first to bring it to our attention. We will look into more solutions, but unfortunately not a lot we can do about street lights. Thanks for staying and have a great week!

Beautiful and comfortable place! Highly recommend staying here!

We had a very comfortable stay! There was plenty of extra linen and towels, the kitchen was stocked with essentials, and delicious coffee. The location was so convenient. We were especially grateful for the newly installed air conditioning. Even without the air conditioning, we would have been fine because the wonderful hosts also supplied very nice fans and a window unit. You can truly tell they care about the comfort of their guests. Such a beautiful place with so much charm and character. Would definitely stay here in the future!

Very cute apartment!

This apartment is so cool and there were a ton of nice shops within a few blocks- coffee, bakery, boutique...There was a bar right next door which was a concern for us because of the children. The only 2 issues were this. The street lights outside cast alot of light into 2 of the bedrooms at night and there were alot of flies in the apartment- both dead and alive. But all in all, this wasnt a deal breaker and we would definately stay again+

Thanks so much Michelle! And of course you stayed during Galesville Apple Affair - so night activity would be a little more than usual. I hope it was a blast to see the town so alive! And thank you for the heads up on the flies - this is our first October hosting, so we are learning that bugs love to find these old buildings. Currently working on some solutions :) And we've never had a complaint about the ligths - except the last 2 stays! I'm wondering if they changed the ligh bulbs or something on the street because our room darkening + blackout curtains have always done the trick before. Thanks so much for your feedback and helping us improve. We hope to host you again :)
