Take in spectacular views of the Black River while staying in this beautifully remodeled home. Enjoy a cup of coffee in our 3 season room while watching the sunrise and eagles nesting in the backyard. Located 2 minutes away from Celebrations on the River, we are a prime location for guests attending nearby events. We are also 10 short minutes from downtown making transportation a breeze. This 3 bedroom home is the perfect spot for small gatherings while enjoying stunning views of the surrounding river and bluffs.

So much better than staying in a hotel! We enjoyed getting to know what the island has to offer (the locals are so friendly) & the family time playing the games readily available. Well laid out home, every detail thought of & executed brilliantly. Thank you!

Beautiful river property. So clean, great decor. Chad was so quick to respond to any questions we had. House is only 10 minutes from UW-LaCrosse. We were in town for parents weekend. We’ll definitely stay again!!

Great decor, beds were high end memory foam, rooms were good size, plenty of towels, and even games for all ages. Loved the extra porch and sitting on the deck for sunrises. The Walsh family were available if we needed them, but their directions and expectations were clear! Was a great place to stay.

Roomy and very comfortable and clean home. Plenty of space to spread out, but our favorite spot was in the three season porch where we watched sunrises, egrets, and eagles. Host was quick to respond with any questions.

We picked this spot because it was on the river. Convenient location .Lovely sunroom and deck. Beautiful sunrises and moonsets.The house was updated with new beds and appliances as shown in the photos. The host responded promply and was very attentive. I would highly recommend this VRBO! We had a great reunion.

Birding in La Crosse area

We loved the property and area. We were comfortable and had all that we needed. As well as visiting birding sites, we enjoyed being on the porch and walking out on the dock.

Perfect!

We loved our stay on the Mississippi in La Crosse. The property was easy to find, and the check-in worked great. The home is tastefully decorated without being overdone. The beds were comfortable, the bedding and towels were of a great quality, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The best part is the location. We enjoyed both the mornings and evenings sitting in the four-seasons room watching the ducks and eagles hunting for food. Thank you for sharing your home.

Clean, roomy and convenient

This home is spotless, recently updated and convenient to the activities of La Crosse. Our stay was brief, but it was nice to have a comfortable and clean place to stay where we could look out at the river and relax in the evenings was appreciated. A note - the listing indicates fireplace, but I believe that is an error. There were smoke and carbon monoxide detectors in the home.

Annual Mississippi River Getaway

We have been coming out to the LaCrosse area every Fall for many years. This is by far the nicest place that we have been to. Very clean, host was great to work with. Enjoyed morning coffee in their beautiful sunroom.

Girls weekend getaway

This home is beautiful and suited the needs for 4 adults. It is great to sit in the sunroom or deck and relax looking over the river. The space is open and easy to hang out together and play games. We had a great weekend and felt so comfortable here!

Weekend Trip

Brought friends to La Crosse to experience the Mississippi River. Thoroughly enjoyed pur stay. Property was perfect location to everything we wanted to do. Very clean. Very nice.

Great get away spot

Very clean place with quality king size beds! Not far from downtown LaCrosse and easy to get to. We really loved the sunroom for morning coffee and evening cocktails. Definitely would stay there again!

Girls' weekend

We were very pleased with our rental on French Island. The house was spotless with all the accommodations we needed. We stayed the first weekend in November, and the weather was perfect for hiking and having a campfire. We loved the 3-season porch to watch the birds on the river and enjoy the sunshine. Definitely a place we'd like to return to!

Perfect little home on the Mississippi!

I have very high standards when it comes to cleanliness and this home met those standards! It is also in a quiet neighborhood on the river with great views. We will definitely stay again when in La Crosse!

Amazing House Right on the Water!!

My family and I were in town for a wedding. We traveled from California. We felt it would be easier for us to stay in a house, rather than a hotel, considering we had a toddler with us. The house was fantastic - we loved it! There was plenty of room for all of us and it was fully stocked with the essentials - blankets, towel, iron, kitchenware, etc. The view off the back porch was wonderful - right on the water - a nice spot to have a cup of coffee in the morning and just take it all in. We actually met some of the neighbors as well. They were super friendly and very kind. We went during October and all the houses on the street were decorated for the season. A great house in a great neighborhood. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hopefully we can go back soon!!
