Rivers House is situated in a quiet cul de sac in a safe and clean neighborhood just minutes from
I-69 and the cities downtown attractions. Everything you need is close, including fine dining, entertainment, shopping, hospitals, groceries and most anything else you could be looking for. Our home is pet friendly but also spotlessly cleaned before each guest. Decorated in neutral tones that make this home warm and inviting. Kitchen is equipped just like home as well as the bedrooms and bathrooms. There is a pack and play, high chair, baby monitors and other child friendly options upon request which makes for traveling a whole lot easier to pack for if traveling with children.
As an out of town guest we provide nearly everything you need to minimize packing and maximize your enjoyment of your stay.

Second time staying with our family. This is a gem. Lovely, comfortablr home with all the amenities you need. So helpful to have a high chair and packnplay. Host is always kind and helpful. Also wonderful to have a christmas tree and cozy winter themes throughout.

I stay here every fall when I come up from FL for a couple of weeks. The house has everything you could need. It's in a safe neighborhood and everything is close and convienent. Tina is a wonderful host and she is only a message away should you need anything. I love that I am able to bring my small dog along instead of having to kennel him. I will continue to stay here year after year.

We were new to VRBO, the host answered any questions we had quickly and kindly. The home was in a quiet neighborhood. It was very clean and welcoming. We were in town for a wedding but needed a quiet home base as we also had some work responsibilities that need to be done while we were away. The WiFi worked well, rooms had their own TVs, and the home had everything we needed for a home away from home. We’d definitely recommend.

We were in town for a nephew's wedding and have loads of family that live in the area. The location was great as we were literally a mile away from family, friends and festivities! The home was clean and had every amenity imaginable! The neighborhood was quiet and it was great to be on a cul de sac.All the necessaries were close by; grocery, gas station, park, restaurants.We also enjoyed having morning coffee on the patio.We will certainly book this lovely home again! Thank you!

Repeat Stay a Year Later - Still Great!

We spent a week at this house again this year after doing the same thing last summer. The experience was the same as before--excellent all around! The property was clean and well-maintained, just like last time. There was a brutal heat wave going on the entire week we were there, but it was always comfortable in the house. The neighborhood is quiet and welcoming, feels safe, and is very close to conveniences and necessities.We had no issues during our stay, and we will certainly be looking to book it again next year when we return to Fort Wayne.

Home away from home

Communication was great throughout the process. With my dad being sick, I chose to bring my dogs on my work trip and not burden family with taking care of my girls too. I loved the open concept of the home and the quiet neighborhood for evening walks. The home is nicely decorated, clean and spacious. It felt like home. We enjoyed our stay very much.
