The host was sooo welcoming and was so kind, calm, and patient when answering questions. The space wqs well lit, clean, and decorated so well. Truly was an excellect experience and will definitely be a top consideration for our next stay!

Everything I needed was so close.. transportation, restaurants, groceries. Quiet stay despite being so close to downtown and the university. Host was very communicative before and during stay. However, instructions were very clear so I did not need to ask much. If you have mobility issues, then the stairs maybe challenging. It is perfect for a single or couples getaway.

You get what you pay for and you are paying for a very dirty place with no support from the manager. Our sheets were definitely not clean, I’ll spare you the details of how we knew they were not. There were literal piles of beard hair around the bathroom sink. Baseboards coated in dust. Smell of cigarette smoke in the bedroom. Kitchen had very few dishes and several were visibly dirty. Spots on appliances and dirt on the floors. We stayed 3 nights and were given 2 bath towels for the entire stay. We asked for more and the host questioned us all day and finally said she’d “try” to get us more. No such luck. The garage is sketchy with crumbling ceilings. Do not stay here!

The property was lovely. The perfect couples weekend getaway. Short walking distance or uber trip to dining, sports venues, and entertainment. We couldn’t have asked for a better location. We will definitely be staying here whenever we visit Cleveland.

Nice apartment in a good location for downtown activities. Note that bedroom and bathroom are on the second floor of the unit. Parking is right for larger vehicles.

Very disappointing. We got there to police in the front entryway and trash everywhere inside and outside the building. Made our way to the actual unit and once we got inside we immediately didn’t even set our bags down as we noticed mold, stains, a door that doesn’t lock, more mold and disappointment. Tried calling the owner.. 3 times and finally got ahold of them just to have them be condescending and impossible to work with. Tried to figure out a place to go because we were not going to stay there. I explained that I am immunocompromised and that is not an environment I could be in. We stayed at the Double Tree a few minutes away from the building. It seems the reviews are NOT made by actual tenants so here’s a very factual one. Unclean, NOT in a safe neighborhood, parking garage is being held up by scaffolding and jacks and almost impossible to find the actual parking spot, property manager is impossible to deal with.

Downtown stay

We basically slept here while my husband went through some procedures at the Cleveland Clinic. So while we didn't use many of the amenities, we did have a comfortable stay. My cleanliness rating of 4 stars really only applies to some spots on the bedroom carpet. Someone wore dirty shoes on it. :( Overall it was a lovely stay!

Vrbo 3 mi from Cleveland clinic

My husband had an operation at the clinic and this was close. There are 20 steps to the bedroom upstairs,so you do a lot of climbing. The host was able to accommodate me for an extra night,that was appreciated.

Overall very good experience! The only things i would mention that needs improvement would be the parking lot numbers all need to be big bold numbers, the bathroom sink needed to be snaked, very slow drain and let people know that might have difficulty climbing 20 stairs to the bedroom!

Fun in CLE

We were very satisfied with our accommodations. It was central to everything we wanted to see. Having the parking garage was great because we walked everywhere! The Downtown Loft was comfortable, quiet and clean. There are several steps to the bedroom and bathroom on the 2nd floor. It is not a problem- just fair warning for anyone with mobility issues. We would definitely rent again for our next trip to CLE! The host was easily contacted as well.

Cleveland Double Header

Came to Cleveland for Opening Day at Progressive Field and the Cavs game that evening. Location is great, super easy walk to everything. Great instructions from the host on how to navigate the property. Very clean.

Serves the purpose

Stayed 3 nights as we were visiting the Rock n Roll and Football hall of fame. Communication was great, as were directions for parking garage and check in. Place wasn’t cleaned well by the cleaning service and we had to wash and fold the dirty towels that were left. We also had to sweep the place. After that things were okay. The building is older but within walking distance to a lot of things! Public transportation is easily accessible across the street too! It is a quiet building, which was a delight. While the listing boasted a fireplace, it’s for show only so that was a disappointment on a snowy evening. Also, I didn’t pack a hairdryer because it is listed as an amenity and sadly there wasn’t one. There are 20 steps to the bedroom and only bathroom upstairs, so it’s a climb, but not off putting. Overall, this was better than a hotel room and served its purpose.

Comfy and spacious

Great location and included parking which is very appreciated in Cleveland winters. Within walking distance to playhouse square, Cleveland state university, and convention center. Has 20 stairs to get to bathroom and bedroom so that may be an issue for people with mobility issues. Is listed as non smoking but past occupants did not follow that rule so for future guests please respect who is to come after you leave (there is a nice outdoor area available) or choose a place where smoking is allowed. Otherwise, the place was more than enough for 2 people - is exactly as pictured.

Great place at a reasonable price

Great place - beautiful old building, but the apartment is fully modern. The kitchen, bathroom, and TVs are all fairly new. The Wi-Fi worked great (I was working remotely, so that was important). The place was spotlessly clean. The instructions to access the property were excellent, especially the photo of the garage entrance in the alley. That's where things could have been confusing the first time. The host was VERY responsive via text when I had questions, which I really appreciated . I would highly recommend this property if you find yourself in Cleveland.
