Outstanding

Clean, well appointed, and a great location for what I enjoy (I spent several hours watching all the colorful sail boats and kite surfers in the bay). An actual walker’s paradise, that felt very safe and secure to me. It was a great choice for a relaxing, laid back, restful week in San Diego. Lots of local restaurants and markets to pack and take meals/snacks to the beaches or wherever the day may take you.

A wonderful getaway!

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Tropical Oasis at Mission Bay. The location was incredible, the weather was beautiful, the accommodations were simple and more than sufficient. We'd come back!

Great Area

Great location and room. We had everything we needed for our stay. The gated patio was great for our E-Bikes so we did not have to worry about them. Very private.

Favorite Rental Spot for SD!

I wish I could give this host 10 stars, it was the best rental experience we've ever had. The location is perfect. Across the street from the water and walking distance from food and coffee. Plenty of parking. And just a 20 minute (or less) drive from countless activities. The host is amazing. Not only did they give excellent instructions for access, they also provided every little thing a renter could need. From great lighting over the lockbox, to wireless chargers on the nightstands, to bottled water and ice cubes in the fridge, and so many other thoughtful items. These details might be small, but they really show that the host cares!

Perfect couple's getaway location

Literally everything you could need in a beautiful, private location. Walking to Crown Point Coffee was the perfect start to every morning, and we loved coming home to a quiet neighborhood after spending the day at the beach, boardwalk, or downtown. The location is minutes from everything yet feels like a sanctuary- no airplane noise! Check in and check out were a breeze, and we feel we got a great value for the price. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Mission Beach Oasis

We had a great day at this property. It's very quiet in the evening and we had our own private little patio with lots of little palm trees to make it feel secluded and relaxing. It's a great place if you like to ride bikes because it's right off the trail and just a block or so away from the Ingram bridge that takes you across the water to get to town and Sunset Cliffs trails and Point Loma. The house was very helpful and got you anything you needed. It's a pretty good size room with a big TV with sliding glass doors out to the patio. Adequate kitchen supplies and host provided necessities in addition to some free drinks.

Just what we expected and then some

From the moment we entered the private entrance and through a palm tree oasis that led us to a Quaint patio and to the entrance to the studio we knew we made the right choice. A great location as the bay is right across the street with a bench overlooking. My wife and I had coffee out there every morning. Just as important as the bay if not more It is a very safe and quiet neighborhood .The bed was amazingly comfortable in fact we will be replacing ours at home with the same. The on-site property manager was very accommodating making sure we had everything we need at the same time respecting our privacy. He also has a lot of local knowledge and recommendations for things to do and places to eat We will definitely be staying there again.

An absolute must stay!!

Our stay at Virbo rental was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the outstanding experience. Being near the ocean added an extra touch of magic to our getaway, and the backyard oasis vibe was simply beautiful. The owner of the property was incredibly respectful, ensuring that we had our space while also being available whenever we needed anything. It's rare to find such attentive and detail-oriented service these days, and we were truly impressed. The property itself was immaculately clean, and the check-in and check-out process were seamless, making our stay hassle-free. Considering the breathtaking sights we enjoyed, the price was more than reasonable. It's without a doubt a must-stay place, and we're already planning our next visit! 5/5 stars, highly recommended!

Peaceful SD Hideaway

I was very pleased with our whole experience at this Tropical Oasis. We had great communication with the host, who was sensitive to our needs and very accommodating. The neighborhood is quiet, and the location is convenient to beaches, parks and SeaWorld. The view on ingress/egress is spectacular, right across a 2-lane road from the water and large open bay. Check-in/out was a breeze. I stayed here with my daughter, and we felt very safe. The studio is behind a high, locked fence, so it was very peaceful and private. We felt comfortable leaving open the double sliding doors to have an indoor/outdoor experience with the shady tropical landscaping of the yard. I read in the comfortable lawn furniture, while my daughter studied inside at the table. The interior was very clean, well-stocked and tasteful. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was lovely. The studio was perfect for us, and we definitely look forward to staying here again. Thank you.

I did not feel it was a safe and private stay. Here are my pros and cons.Cons:BIGGEST The main house (in-front) I could not tell if someone was staying there or not. It seemed to be at times, however the curtains were drawn back to a point where you didn't know if you was being spied on. The temperature throughout the night was hot and cold. We were not able to control the thermostat. There is not any counterspace in the bathroom. There was a huge curtain that separated you from the outside, which we felt was not private enough. The house behind us bedroom window was directly over the patio making you feel it was less private. The actual renting quarters is not the main house. Its a one-car garage that was converted to a studio style house. The beach is approx. 4 mile walk.Pros: Located steps from the bay which offered a trail for walking, biking, etc. Close to city transportation Patio area was welcoming with rocking chairs and lots of palm trees. Comfortable bed Washer/Dryer in room Quiet area Space was clean and organizedOverall, I will not book this stay again unless there is nothing else available.
