Welcome to our cozy and artistic living space, where comfort meets style! Nestled in a quiet neighborhood, this home is adorned with a vibrant mural that brings life and energy into the space. A selection of books awaits you on our wooden shelf for a peaceful reading session on our suspended net. Enjoy the various spaces where you can reconnect with your creative self. Also within walking distance is the iconic Tautphaus Park featuring the local Idaho Falls Zoo, tennis courts, basketball hoops, horseshoe toss, baseball fields, and a large children's playground. Take a day drip to the Yellowstone Bear World, Mesa Falls, West Yellowstone, Teton National Park, Henry's Fork, the possibilities are endless! We look forward to hosting you!

Hockey weekend

Awesome property close to the hockey rink. Loved all the added amenities like the library and the hanging net. Downstairs foosball table and TV were awesome. Highly recommend this location.

Comfy and relaxing

Clean and comfortable. We had to run errands and went to a basketball ball game while in town. We had the whole family together and it was nice to be able to spread out and relax in between.

Security Problems

1) Property not clean nor ready: guy was leaving 15” before checkin (owner, that day, had wanted to know when we would get there as it was “Labor Day weekend” which seemed to make it hard for them to get place cleaned —we shouldn’t have to be precise about arrival time, as it was promised for 4PM checkin time, period! ; slap dash cleaning; no paper towels in kitchen— were told to use filthy-looking cloth hanging over stove (so dirty no one would touch it) for paper towels! (gross!); two full, open bags of rotting garbage from previous occupants in backyard next to house (rats anyone?); black handprints on front and other doors. Everything became suspect for lack of cleanliness.was furniture vacuumed? Were sheets washed?, were bathrooms clean?, etc. YUCK! 2). Major security issues: All patio doors were installed backwards and locks did not work—because doors were backwards, one couldn’t even use sticks along bottom frame to prevent illegal entry; backyard had circumferential fencing, but gate latch was installed on alley side! So made illegal entry into backyard easy and invited, while making it very hard for occupants to get out as one must reach over a six foot high fence; about half of windows lacked screens—inviting mosquitoes, rodents, etc. to enter if windows were opened, especially at night (BTW the 2nd & 3rd floors got quite hot in August). Place needed fresh air as whole place smelled stale and musty; only one casement window handle for 4 windows on 3rd floor.

We are sorry for your negative experience. We are thankful for your honest feedback and we'll look for ways to improve. We are disappointed in your review as every other review on other platforms including this one have been positive. We were informed by our cleaner that you arrived around 2:45 P.M which is before our listed 4 P.M check-in. We, in most cases, promise a 4 P.M check-in, but very rarely allow for 2:45 P.M check-ins unless communicated earlier, which wasn't the case. We still allowed for an early check-in in the hope that would be convenient for your schedule. Now we apologize for the garbage bags that weren't properly taken out and lack of paper towels, but we are confident that the property was properly cleaned before you arrived. We recently invested in a new AC unit for the main floor and basement and mini-split units for the 3rd floor for those warm summer days. Again, we'll take any feedback and look to improve as we have with all our past guests.

Paul and Rebekah here! We currently live in Las Vegas, Nevada where we are both working hard to further our careers. While we loved living in Idaho Falls where we lived close to family, the Tetons, and the fly-fishing river of the world, our work decided to take us elsewhere.

Paul works for his family-owned business, Trestlewood, as a sales representative in the California, Washington, and Nevada market. Rebekah is training to become a stunt woman/actress at the K-Star Training Academy located in Las Vegas.

On weekends, we enjoy camping and hiking with our two pups, Sammy and Danny. We love exploring different ethnic foods, playing Super Smash together, and shopping at second-hand stores. We share a passion for fashion and have created an inspo page, Uncover Designs, where we repurpose thrifted clothing and share our ideas via social media (@uncoverdesigns).

What can we say! We have an array of interests, and we want to inspire people to explore them all! Thank you again for choosing our little sanctuary! We hope you enjoy your stay! :)

We love how quiet and safe this neighborhood is. We live only a minute away from Tautphaus Park where we can walk our two dogs, play tennis, or take our nieces and nephews to the park. We also live close to the freeway where we can embark on a day trip to Palisades, Teton National Park, West Yellowstone, or Henry's Fork, the fishing capital of the world. We have quick access to grocery stores as well like Sam's Club, Albertson's, and Walmart.
