Location was great, apartment was clean but well used. Outside patio deck was not, it was dirty but we still enjoyed the incredible view.

We had to check out after a night and find a new place due to the condition. First we noticed the extreme temperature. It was so hot. There was heat coming from the fireplace. I requested service come shut it off completely but no one called me back or responded. The ceiling fans and table fans were not usable because they were caked with dust. Last thing we needed was years of dust all over our things. Second of all it’s listed as a 2 bedroom. It is not. It’s one bedroom and a tiny closet with a bed shoved in. The door hardly shuts and there is no room for someone to get dressed or to keep their belongings in. Next the showers were dirty. There was mold all over the grout. The master bathroom had cobwebs all over the lights and a bulb burned out. We also had several bugs in the unit due to the windows being left open prior to our arrival. I didn’t sleep at all the one night we stayed due to the extreme heat in there. If you open the windows you hear all the noise from the plaza below. The host refused to refund my host fee or cleaning fee or the one night we stayed even though we were not able to sleep or use the fans to cool us off. Absolutely do not recommend. They refunded the rest of the stay but refused to refund cleaning fee or host fee. I’m out money and had to book at a much nicer, cleaner, cooler place nearby.

This property was wonderful! My friends and I had an amazing stay. The only thing is that the apartment is incredibly hot in the summer, which made us wish there were more/better fans. Minus that this place is 10/10 amazing!

Ski adventure

Awesome place to stay if you’re going to go for skiing. A little loud at times because we were next to a kids playground but otherwise great experience. Place was a little bare when it came to trash bags but overall I highly recommend this place for the convenience

Fantastic location!

The location was incredible. Being right next to Olympic plaza, it was easy to walk to grocery store, shops, restaurants, everything you need. Access to both mountain bases was walkable (10 minutes), with even easier access by shuttle. The room was spacious and clean, and had great ammenities.

Whistler apartment

Reasonably sized apartment, great to have two bathrooms. The apartment is tired and could do with a revamp. Kitchen utensils and cutlery are old and falling apart. The apartment wasn't very clean and we asked the property managers to do a re-clean. The location is close to the supermarket and No4 free bus. Easy walk to all that Whistler offers. However with the great snow falls also came the snow ploughs and snow clearance which starts close to 4am. Why they have to tell everyone they are reversing at that time in the morning is beyond me. Unfortunately you also can hear everyone returning from a night out, around 2am. Sadly we won't be back.

Not great for summer mtb due to lack of AC.

In short, it's probably fine for winter sports but not for summer biking stay. We stayed near the end of May for biking. The room was extremely hot when we entered. Opened the windows in the main bedroom and living area but it stayed hot until 2am. The second bedroom is near the door connected to the hallway and has NO windows. It has a fan but it's useless because it just blows the same hot air down (no flow with air outside of room). In addition, the unit faces the village marketplace so it's extremely noisy with the windows open. Even though there is supposed to be quiet hours, you'll find the weekend to be loud until after midnight, weekday until 11pm. Morning are always loud because of the children's playground outside. Again, needing all windows open is the problem. We had a few days of slight rain which helped with the temperature but we still needed to have the windows open.

Great stay at Village North. Easy transport by bus you the slopes or 15 minute walk. Had all that we needed and Close to restaurants, ships and supermarket.

We really appreciated having lots of space for our skiing and snowboard equipment. Would recommend you bring salt and pepper/ basic cooking basics as the only cooking basic provided really was salt. Overall we enjoyed our stay, beds were comfy and the location spectacular. Thanks for having us!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The place was nice and clean. I thought the TV / Cable situation was difficult to navigate especially with so many remotes. The people at the front desk were very friendly. The only other thing I would change is the check-out time, I wish the standard time was 11 instead of 10 so that we could have relaxed a little more in the morning instead of rushing to pack.

Reviewer Comments: My wife and I stayed in unit 333 at Marketplace Lodge to compete in Ironman Canada. Not a good experience. Although well located, the unit is dated and cheaply furnished. The Marketplace Lodge complex is dated, but other units we have stayed in have been updated and are quite nice. My son stayed in 316, and that was lovely. Updating attempts in 333 were poorly done and amateurish. No pride of ownership at all. It is located right above a large children’s playground that is very noisy until after 10PM every night. No air conditioning, so windows need to be open. Impossible. The second bedroom that was created by expanding a tiny room and reducing the kitchen size is the size of a closet (or jail cell) with no window or ventilation. Not a problem, since one can’t sleep there because the mattress on the bed probably came from a thrift store – all the springs poke through the top. Lamp switches broken, multiple TV remotes with no instructions, broken washer-dryer, unusable appliances. Management offered to send someone over after complaints, but too late for that. Sorry that people have so little concern about their guests.
