Tooth pick?

Overall my stay was enjoyable. The property was functional for an active skier although a little walking was involved. Not quite ski in ski out but close to it. The trail to the slopes can get icy and a bit treacherous. The bus stop to the village is right outside the complex and the buses are frequent. I had one minor mishap and that was when the cleaners arrived at 9am on check out day and attempted to access my apartment and prior to my 10am checkout I took the garbage out as requested and when I returned my access code no longer worked. So I found myself locked out with everything left inside and an airport transfer and a flight to catch. After several phone calls to reception I finally regained access with a reset code.

I received the itinerary while I was on the hill. Went directly to the condo after a long day of skiing and apres drinks and didn't know we had to go downtown to check - in. Then, the address was super confusing and we walked around for 30 mins trying to find the front desk. Never again!

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: As soon as I arrived it was clear this place was not as advertised, colour of walls, harsh lighting, tiny stove and fridge, door to bathroom does not work, broken wall plate, immediately called front desk to ask if it was possible to swap this out for something else. Person on phone NOT listening to my issues with this place, telling me there are no other options (most likely untrue) and they can not be fully booked this early in the season and there are basically 5 runs open on the mountain, so not getting anywhere with this temporary foreign worker so I hung up. Pool has been closed for over 6 months at the time as they were redoing the membrane of the building, this must have been known to superior properties as the work has been going one for a long time. Sauna does not heat. Hot tub is indoors and ugly. Burner stove - the crappiest possible, tiny fridge, no good to use pans - all Teflon coated and warped, tiny pot, (sufficient dishes and glasses) crappiest coffee maker on earth. Bedroom is right by the front entrance to building so you can not keep the curtains open as you see everyone that comes in and out. front door of ****** suite is directly in front of the common laundry room. Dinning chairs are all wobbly and uneasy to move around as the bottom of the chairs get caught in the carpeting. Postage stamp size TV - this is in the era when a 55 inch flat screen cost 400 bucks, so by paying almost 900 bucks for this piece of **** room back in august for a dec 12 to 16 stay they should be laughing all the way to the bank. When I checked in at superior I was told I would need to buy parking - A further expense you do NOT need to get into as you can legally park on the road in front of the building after 5PM to 9am from Monday to Friday. The only great part of this holiday was leaving this room. For 15 year I have been spending 5 days and 4 night in WB for my birthday week this is by far the saddest room I have gotten and the priciest per night over 200

Was perfect for 3 adults on a ski weekend

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location and value were great, we loved the proximity to skiing and the village. The property could be a little better equipped in the kitchen. There wasn’t a broiler pan, cookie sheets or any oven safe dishes. Also, the listing says it comes with a parking space, but doesn’t make it clear it’s an additional $15 a day. We checked in late in the evening due to flight delays, even though we provided and accurate arrival time, we still had to wait 20 minutes at the office for the security guy to show up and give us the codes to get in. Perhaps those could be emailed as he didn’t escort us to the property and was unable to answer any questions about it.

Whilst the apartment felt a little dated it was all still functional and clean. Whistler Superior Properties were also helpful when we had an issue with the toilet being broken. Location was OK, it was a bit of a walk to the Upper Village but again, given what we paid it wasn't bad at all. Secure parking was also great.
