Escape to The Cabin Retreat, a serene getaway for the entire family.

Bring the whole family to this beautiful cabin with lots of room for fun. If needed get in some work in the beautiful loft office taking in the gorgeous lake views. With a prime location and room for everyone to spread out, your stay promises to be hassle free. Located in the desired Dollar Point quiet neighborhood, centrally located with so much to do. Head out on the many trails during the warm weather or head into town for a bite to eat and visit all of the quaint fun shops! Of course so many ski resorts in the area as well. Then come home and relax in the hot tub while taking in the beautiful lake views! Or head downstairs and put on a movie or play a board game in our fully stocked game room! Cook up a delicious meal in the spacious kitchen and take in the views while dining on the porch.

Perfect getaway weekend!

Couldn’t have found a better home to cozy up in with a few friends. We all fit very comfortably and the views were breathtaking from the patio. Would definitely book again! Perfect for a big group or larger family.

Tahoe girls trip

This house was great for a big group. Spacious with 2 large common areas, lots of parking and a well equipped kitchen. The deck has a great view of the lake. We had a great time! Would book again.

Perfect place for large groups and close to Northstar/Palisades

We had a group of 13 and had an awesome time! The view from the deck, the amenities, and the layout of the place was great. Comfortably would recommend closer to 11 as the futon downstairs isn’t the most comfortable, but everything is worked amazingly (also fits 4 cars for parking)

Beautiful winter stay for a large family group

We had an absolutely magical stay at this beautiful Tahoe home. The views out the main window were spectacular--each morning with a mug of coffee in hand, I enjoyed looking out of the large window to the mountains, the lake, and the sunrise slowly covering it all. We had all of the cookware we needed and comfortably slept four couples as well as a young adult, a toddler, and a baby! There was lots of room for hanging out together as a family and we felt close to all we needed! There was enough room to play outside in the snow behind the house and even go sledding! Would definitely stay again and can't recommend this Vrbo highly enough!

Getaway with friends

We stayed here with a big group of friends, and it couldn’t have been better. The house was super spacious, so everyone had their own space to hang out and relax. The furniture and setup were complete—everything we needed was there. The kitchen was fully stocked, and the hot tub was just perfect after a long day. The view was absolutely amazing—you can see the lake, which made it even more special. The location was ideal, with easy access to skiing at Palisades and Northstar. There was enough space for 4 cars, which made things so convenient for our group. The instructions were clear, and the host was super quick and nice whenever we had questions. Would definitely stay here again!

Tahoe Ski Weekend

We loved our weekend in this beautiful cabin! The home was perfect for our group. We cooked our dinners in and skied during the day. Everyone was comfortable and the decorations and cleanliness of this home was far above the norm. The home is close enough to ski at Alpine or Northstar. There is a distant view of the lake which was nice and the cabin was easy to get to right off the main road. I highly recommend this property!

Beautiful Spacious Cabin with Thoughtful Touches

I stayed in this large cabin over the weekend with some friends and was very impressed with the space. The property was very clean, and had thoughtful touches like snacks and coffee available. I could tell the cabin was cared for and had a lot of happy memories. It is also very spacious and slept our group comfortably, with extra linens and towels for everyone. The communications with the host was also very good. The space is cozy and was perfect for bonding, cooking, and relaxing. I would stay here again!! The only downsides were that the hot tub didn’t function so we couldn’t use it, and that the key to the outdoor trash bin was missing so we had to keep all our trash indoors. Hopefully the next time around these issues will fixed, otherwise the stay was great!!

That Magic House

Ann Loux:Our family of 12 spends every Christmas together. We range from ages 3 and a half years to eighty one and a half. Some want to ski, others to go sledding, make snowmen or just eat snow! Generous souls take turns cooking for the rest. This home fulfills every desire!To be sure, this house has magic powers. I’d carefully packed all my grand children’s favorite Christmas books. But then left that suitcase on the baggage carousel. Devastating, indeed, until I found Christmas Stories in the children’s bedroom. Such great favorites as “The Journey of the Magi,” “The Little Matchstick Girl,” and “The Little Drummer Boy.” Checking in and out was the simplest ever. The directions arrived promptly and were easy to follow. The three separate bedroom wings provide privacy and peace for each family. The commodious public rooms offer company and excitement. The large downstairs playroom works well for extra and wandering sleepers. And wildly cheering fos-ball players can scarcely be heard upstairs.There’s PLENTY of everything. Bedding, cots, fold-out mattresses, comforters, glasses and dishes, games for children and adults, fully-stocked fridge and kitchen cabinets. Delicious treats! Enough hot water for all three showers to function at the same time. The hot tub is yes, gloriously HOT. Fairy fumes floated over all our heads! Many times!
