Lago Allatoona - Casa familiar en el lago con muelle

Cómodo, bien amueblado de 4 dormitorios, 3 baños. Impresionante muelle ubicado a unos 1,800 pies de la propiedad a lo largo del sendero fácil de seguir a través de Corps of Engineer's Land. El muelle está en el agua todo el año.

Muelle inmejorable: terraza de 30 'x 30' con dos mesas, almohadillas de esquí acuático, sombrillas y sillas, mucho espacio alrededor del muelle, excelente natación, excelente lugar para sentarse debajo de la terraza. Dock está a una pendiente suave de 1.800 pies a pie de la propiedad que dura unos 4 minutos.

For the money this house was amazing. We essentially had the cove all to ourselves. We only saw one neighbor on a dock nearby one time during our stay. I wouldn’t count on that every time, but it made for a nice relaxing time. Everything in the home seems recently updated. The kids loved the bonus game room in the basement. The owners were very responsive, and helpful whenever we had a question. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

Family Getaway

House was great. Outdoor space good for relaxing together. Dock was good for fishing, swimming and relaxing. Walk to lake was tricky. A little far but we tackled it.

Great For Families

We enjoyed our one-week stay. Hosts were very responsive and accommodating with the small issue we encountered. The house has plenty of sleeping areas and we played pool nearly every night. The walk to the dock can be tricky after rain as it gets muddy and slippery, but still navigable. We rented the boat and jet ski and thoroughly enjoyed time on the lake. This area of the lake is quiet and open, very easy to fish, swim, ski. Overall, a nice place to stay!

Family Staycation

We have stayed at this property on numerous occasions. The location, lake access, and dock are all positives about this house. Owner responds very quickly to questions that might come up. These are many of the reasons why we come back every year.

Good family getaway

Great location. Quiet neighborhood. Loads of amenities in the house. Only possible criticism would be that the furniture and decors are kinda dated and the dock could use some love but don't let that take away from everything else.

Spring Break

We stayed here for my daughters spring break because she wanted to fish with her father. The house was very nice and clean, very well stocked. I had to work while there, but the view from the dinning/sunroom area made it much better. The dock view is amazing and so relaxing. My husband and kids had a great time fishing. We will definitely be coming back!

Great Getaway Property

Home was well stocked with all your needed supplies. Owner was fantastic, house was fantastic, double decker dock was fantastic. Amazing view out of the kitchen window. Sunrise over the lake and through the trees was beautiful.Overall 10 out of 10 for our stay. Others mentioned the walk to the lake. Just take it slow as it worth the trek. Looking forward to booking again when we can enjoy the lake a lot more.

The Path Less Taken - Not For Elderly

We were a group of mostly senior citizens. Lots of stairs. Some items were in disrepair and not usable. And the lake was quite a hike from the house, with lots of rocks and tree roots.Communication with owner was not a problem. Unsafe environment.

Lake house for a crowd

We had a family reunion, and the house was a great place for a crowd to gather and the lake provided a lovely place to kayak and paddleboard.

Short of expectations

Had many concerning issues.The place did not seem cleaned properly.As we first walked in I noticed a dead roach in the floor.We try not to be those people who complain so since it was just the one looked over it. But as we were there more we noticed other things. We found many more roaches as well as live ones.Too many to have kept count. There were several yellow stains on the master comforter and looks like they have not been washed in a very long time, cob webs strung in multiple areas, paper towels were all half used with food stains on them, toilet paper half used, some sinks were dirty and the master sinks and shower has a super slow drain causing it to backup anytime we used them.Pool table and light was caked in cob webs and spiders.Basement smelled musty and tons of bugs and cob webs.Basement door lock would not work all the time. Trash left in fridge downstairs and was not clean. Trouble with the washing machine leading to needed laundry not being able to be done.Hand soap on sinks almost empty, back porch very messy and broken items laying around.I read about the five minute walk to the dock but the terrain and elevation makes it harder and feel those things should be stayed better for guests especially for those who would struggle even more so with those conditions.While we intended on spending a lot of time outdoors, yesterday we were rained in and also in the evening like to relax.Furniture is so outdated,uncomfortable,and dirty.No tv inberoom. Not worth price.

Beautiful lake

The lake is spectacular. We spent all day on the water. Beds were comfortable. My teen girls loved having their own downstairs apartment. House and boat need some updating but for the price this is a great deal. And again, the lake is huge and beautiful!

Wonderful Family Vacation at the Lake

We had a wonderful family vacation at Jacquelyn’s place with our adult children and grandsons! It’s in a great location on Lake Allatoona. The two-story dock is fantastic! We brought our own boat, and we had plenty of room to tie up at the dock. When we weren’t out skiing, wakeboarding, and tubing, the whole family spent hours down at the dock swimming, kayaking, and just relaxing! It is a rather long walk down to the lake, but we actually all enjoyed the woodland trail and saw a lot of beautiful deer and other wildlife throughout the week. The house is comfortable and had plenty of space for our family of seven. The kitchen is well stocked, but still had ample pantry space for us to put all our own food. The 2nd refrigerator downstairs came in handy for extra drinks and fruit, etc. We ate in several nights and took a short boat ride to “JD’s on the Lake” two times for dinner. Jacquelyn is a great host - thorough, responsive, and helpful. We highly recommend “The Lakehouse”!!

Great Family Spot

We really enjoyed our stay. The house, dock and Lake were awesome. We liked the quiet neighborhood and would definetly rent again if in the area. The house was close to alot of restaurants and grocery stores. We ate in mostly and kitchen was nice and well stocked.

Great set up!

The garage that has been converted into the ultimate hangout was awesome! Downstairs apartment is a great set up for teens! It’s definitely a hike to get to the water but the lake is awesome!!!! Owners were very easy to communicate with before and during stay! House was well stocked with essentials! Definitely hit a up JDs on the Lake during your stay! Thanks for sharing your slice of paradise!

Nicest retreat house

A hidden gem in the middle of everything. I must say it’s One of the few properties that enjoyed staying in. Clean, well maintained property. Jackelyn was super friendly. I had to extend my stay and she makes it super easy. Will definitely be back.

Wonderful home

We had a fantastic spring break spent at the Lake House. It was an easy drive into Atlanta to visit all the things there. It was a peaceful retreat and coffee on the dock in the morning was a highlight. Jaci was very responsive and kind. We would love to come back again.

Great place for teens quiet and private

This house was perfect for our group we had family and a few teens staying. We were in town for a nationals wake boarding competition over at terminus wake park. It was close enough to go back and forth for the comp but far enough away that we didn’t have to worry about visitors. The house is set in a quiet neighborhood with a relaxing walk to the docks. We enjoyed the grounds, rented a boat for the day to enjoy the lake. This house has everything you would need it was so nice not to have to drag loads of supplies. Plenty of toilet paper, paper towels cleaning supplies laundry supplies etc. the teens stayed down stairs and enjoyed having their own private space while the adults enjoyed the upstairs area. We would rent again and had a great time.

We've had the great fortune to have traveled all over the United States. Atlanta is such a great location to call home, particularly because of Lake Allatoona. We can't get enough of the lake and feel so fortunate to have it in our backyard - swimming, boating, relaxing, fishing - there is just something magical about being on it.

We love the lake. We love that Allatoona is so close and yet so amazing. With only a few properties and docks on the lake, we were very excited to find a property to call our own. This particular section of the lake is our favorite with the seeming endless undeveloped shoreline - it's a total escape from the craziness of everyday life.

We know you will also consider this 'Your family lake house' and be back over and over again.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The house is layed out so well to give everyone space. The woods trail to the lake makes it feel like a woods cabin as well as a lake house. With so few docks around ours, you feel like you own the lake. But it's also close to Downtown Woodstock, Emerson LakePoint Sports complex, regular shopping, outlet shopping, Blankets Creek Mountain Bike Park, etc.
