Had a wonderful time at this property! The house was perfect for a weekend getaway. The location of the house was the best part because it was secluded and private but only a short 5 minute walk into town. Would definitely stay at this house again!

Our group truly enjoyed our stay at this property. Plenty of space for our group of 18. Communication with the host was very quick. Check in was as instructed. Location close to Main Street and restaurants was ideal.

Perfect for our needs. Our niece was getting married at a nearby park and we needed a large, comfortable home for family members to stay from both sides - the numerous bedrooms and baths were more than adequate for the 20 multi generation people in our group. The large kithcen and eatng areas made meals a breeze and the spansive deck and grounds were incredible. Also, can't say enough about our host's prompt responses to our inquiries prior to and during our stay!

The house was perfect and even bigger than we expected. Although, Id say the 8 and 9th bedrooms are more like one bedroom inside another room. It was really delightful. The host was super responsive and kind.

Outstanding Home for large families or group

Beauriful home on a large landscaped property. Supe nice 2 level deck with hot tub! Fireplace and 9 bedrooms! Short walk to town where theres cute shops, excelkent brewery, and cozy pubs! Deli made amazing sub sandwiches! Def will be returning

Spacious Accomodations

The house is very spacious and very well stocked with beds, sheets, towels, comforters, and even blow-up beds. I would definitely recommend this to others looking for a spacious setting.

A club house

We gather for a week each summer and chose this house to be our club house in 2025. We were able to cool the house during the heat wave with some tower fans a friend had with her. The brook provided a fun way to cool off. The Hot tub under the stars was a plus!

It was a beautiful property in a gorgeous setting. The house was perfect for our family which ranged in age from 7 to 93 years. Because it is an older home, there were some things that were a little rustic and some areas in the kitchen that weren’t as clean as could have been. The upstairs was very warm and we didn’t know that there was a thermostat behind the door to the loft that was set at 80 degrees. It would have been nice to know that when we first checked in since we didn’t use the loft so we never closed the door to see it. There were no window coverings on the two first floor bedrooms which didn’t allow for any privacy and let in too much light for sleep. The location, however, was perfect for walking into town and for easy access to a wedding at Windham Manor.

Family Thanksgiving 2024

We loved this house. We had 25 people (ages 5 through 84) for Thanksgiving and thoroughly enjoyed our stay from Tuesday through Sunday. Bridget is very quick to answer our emails.

I brought my whole family here for my 50th birthday! This house was the perfect place to have a large family gathering with plenty of different room layouts to accommodate couples, children, and pets! It was quiet (besides the lovely bubbling of the nearby creek) and felt private, while also being a convenient 5 minute walk from the town shops and restaurants. The creek made for a perfect swimming spot and was a true hidden gem of the property! The deck and ample yard space was perfect for dining and relaxing outside, and the large kitchen made meal prepping a breeze. The spare and tidy rooms were great for guests flying in with luggage, and the mountain views from town were a great backdrop to a lovely weekend. We would definitely recommend this property for large families looking for affordable and flexible accommodations that feel like a mountain escape while being close to public transportation and necessities. Thank you to Bridget for such a lovely stay!

Amazing property in the Northern Catskills

We could not have had a more comfotable stay! Bridget was quick to respond and ver helpful. The place easily fit our party of 13. We all had a restful weekend. Lots to do nearby but also no reason to want to leave this beatiful home. Highly reccomend!!!

Family Christmas Gathering

We had the best time! The property was perfect! Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms plus gathering spaces galore ! The kitchen was stocked with all the necessities. We had 6 children age 8 and under so the outside property was perfect. Just enough snow for a snowman and some sledding! Plus an enormous deck and wrap around porch. There was a laundry and plenty of towels , pillows and cozy blankets! We will definitely be back!

Really great for family’s of all ages

We had people from age 70-2 staying and the property had something for everyone. It’s an older house so expect older house things but it kind of adds to the vibe. Also who’s staying inside with that much beautiful outside space. A short walk to main st. And drive to other activities 5/5.

Windham Family Fun

Amazing home for big families with lots of ample space inside the home and outside as well. Great Weber grill for BBQ Lovely hot tub to end the day in the backyard Lots of Kitchen space to cook and host big dinners. Bedrooms galore with very comfortable beds and pillows. Cozy couches in the living room for movies extravaganza. Overall an amazing experience for the summer nestled inside Windham. The family can’t wait to comeback again during the winter months.
