Stunning Old Town Getaway with Sauna!

This 100sqm flat is located in the heart of Tallinn’s historic Old Town, adjacent to the Parliament building. Surrounded by various embassies and international organizations as well as some of the best restaurants, shops, and heritage sites in Tallinn, it is minutes (walking) from the Baltic Station (The central railway station), Telliskivi Creative City, and the downtown shopping district.

The flat includes a spacious bedroom, living room, open plan kitchen/dining area, a large entryway, and oversized Bathroom/sauna, with plenty of natural lighting. Situated against the 13th century Toompea city wall, with 17th century exposed limestone and fully refurbished original parquet flooring, this upper oldtown apartment is the perfect blend of historic and modern luxury. Modern amenities include a fully integrated kitchen, washer and dryer, underfloor heating, rain shower, custom designed sauna and outlets/USB sockets conveniently located throughout the flat.

The bedroom and living room are separated by a glass and steel divider with french doors, allowing for an open plan feel with natural lighting, and the privacy of a separate and closable bedroom space. The spacious bedroom is replete with built-in double door closet and king-sized bed. The living room is fitted with an integrated flat screen TV, sectional sofa, exposed limestone walls, original 17th century wood detailing, original parquet flooring, double paned windows with motorized blackout shades, and window seating. The kitchen is equipped with an induction stovetop and convection oven, dishwasher, and several other modern amenities, with a natural wood breakfast bar and dining area. The living room and dining area overlook a quiet stone courtyard with a view of the Parliament building. The oversized bathroom is fitted with glass walls, large tiled rain shower and hand shower, underfloor heating and a custom sauna.

Meelis is a wonderful host. Accommodation was superb. We loved our daily sauna, the old charm and history with modern amenities and furnishongs. This property is exactly as advertised. Lovely stay

A very spacious, well-appointed apartment, including that great sauna. (A little more explanation of the place’s high tech would have helped, but we did figure things out.). Superbly situated for exploring Old Town. And anextra bonus: the hosts were very nice and interesting people.

Fabulous apartment in historic area

The apartment exceeded our expectations, and was supplied with everything we needed for our stay. The apartment is spacious, clean and bright on a quiet street. Meelis met us and was able to provide recommendations. Please note there is no elevator but the stairs are not steep. The lower town is a walkable seven minutes away. Make sure to check out the Toompea overlooks at sunset.

Tallin Perfection!

This is a terrific and spacious flat in a wonderfully quiet historic building. I enjoyed walking to all the nearby sites, which were really beautiful. Such a vibrant area with so much to see, great food and friendly people. I can't wait to go back again.

The apartment is conveniently located at the top of the old city near The Parliament building. The apartment is wonderfully and newly renovated - and well furnished. It was one of the best apartments we have ever rented for a week….

Perfect stay in Tallinn

This was our first time in Estonia and we were eager to visit Tallinn. Meelis’ appartment was the perfect place to stay. The apartment fulfilled all of its promises and is ideally located in the Toompea district, close to the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral and at a close walking distance from the Old City main sites. The apartment is spacious and furnished with taste. The sauna was relaxing to have after a day of visit and the suburb is really quiet. Meelis has also been very accommodating. If you come to Tallinn this is the place for you to stay!

Fabulous Apartment in Fairytale Setting

We spent two nights in Tallin and thoroughly enjoyed our time in this fabulous apartment and city. This spacious apartment has been beautifully and thoughtfully updated, bringing in all the modern conveniences while still highlighting the history of the building. Some of the walls were exposed to show the beautiful stonework. The apartment is adjacent to the old city wall and has views of the Parliament. At times, we were torn between exploring the charming old town and just relaxing in this beautiful apartment. I highly recommend it.

Very nice apartment, very good host

Possibly one of the best rentals we’ve had. The apartment is spacious and comfortable. The sauna was a nice perk! The location, in Toompea right next to the Parliament House, was good (but if you cannot handle a short but steep hill and/or a lot of steps, this may not be the place for you). There are not a lot of amenities on top of the hill, but the apartment is close enough to restaurants and small groceries down the hill. Proximity to several churches, gardens, and viewing platforms in Toompea is very good. Meelis was very responsive and, when asked, within a day provided several kitchen items and pillows we requested. We were also given a late check out upon request. Some guests have commented on the “technology” being difficult. That was not our experience — everything was easy and clearly communicated (and we do not consider ourselves techie people), so don’t let that scare you off. Tallinn is lovely and we really enjoyed our six-night stay at Meelis’ lovely apartment.

Fantastisch!

Die Wohnung übertraf tatsächlich noch unsere Erwartungen. Die Lage ist kaum zu übertreffen, inmitten von touristischen und historischen Highlights, dennoch absolut ruhig gelegen mit Blick auf das estnische Parlament. Alle Räume sind geschmackvoll und modern eingerichtet und leben vom Charme des größtenteils offengelegten Mauernwerks. Ebenfalls großartig unser Gastgeber Meelis, der uns in Empfang nahm und ein kleines, durch einen Sturmschaden verusachtes Problem umgehend beseitigte (und sich dann mit einem sehr großzügigen Restaurantgutschein entschuldigte. was tatsächlich gar nicht nötig gewesen wäre). Sollten wir noch einmal nach Tallinn kommen, dann nur in diese Wohnung. Sie ist ohne Einschränkung zu empfehlen.
