Quick trip for family event
We were there for a funeral and primarily only sleeping so having coffee in the morning a shower and a place to sleep was the priorities. The photos and the information showed a different place than where we stayed. There was not twin beds and the furniture was not the same either. There were no twin beds and that was a big reason for renting the space. Also whomever cleaned the place did a less than stellar job as there was crumbs from the bar on the bar chairs from whomever was there last and there was a candy wrapper stuck to a pillow on the loveseat. There was one coffee cup for four adults – good thing I brought one of my own. There was also no soap anywhere in the house. No hand soap at any of the three sinks! I didn’t expect there to be body soap or shampoo, but I did expect hand soap and hand towels to dry – there was none in any of the bathrooms or in the kitchen. The owner did say when I brought up the issue of the beds that it was supposed to have been changed on the rental site after they changed the furniture, but obviously that did not happen; and we could have asked her for a different place to stay…but we did not know that that was possible at the time. Would I stay here again? Most likely, I would just will try to get there early enough to assess the situation and call the owner for any issues.
