The property was beautiful. It was a perfect place to stay for my nephew's wedding. It was close to Chapman, where my sister lived, and close to the wedding venue in Abilene. The cottage was clean and was exactly as described. The host was amazing and thought of every little detail to make it perfect.

This place is special - the peace and quiet was just what we needed and the cows were a bonus! Most everything is labeled which makes it easier to find what you need. Very clean. We lost internet right before the football game started and she tried her best to get it up and running- even offered for us to come to their house to watch it. Came back on in a few hours so it worked out. Would highly recommend this place— we will be back!

If I could give Cheryl a 100 star review, I would! This stay was absolutely the best we have ever experienced. Cheryl cares a great deal about the quality of her guests stay and ensures they have anything and everything possible. We have stayed at many places and I have never stayed at a place that gave me Ritz level service unless I was at The Ritz. Our kids both commented at home comfortable the home was. My family is from the area so we will definitely be back and have zero reason to stay anywhere but at this home! We cannot wait to return.

Very clean cottage, very nic furnishings and beds are very comfortable. Anything you would need in kitchen to prepare a meal is in the kitchen cabinets. Very nice and helpful host! Nice private and quuet area in the country. We will stay again. Highly recommend!

Great stay for Kstate graduation weekend!

We had a few family members all meeting up from different areas of kansas for the graduation. While it was still 35 mins away, we didnt feel like it took long and was still easier than 2 hrs. The house was perfect! Would definitely stay here again. No complaints from anyone who stayed the night!

This is the place to stay

We had a Wonderful Stay from booking to checking out and all in-between, Cheryl is a Wonderful Host, had everything you could possibly need at the cottage, all you need is yourself and your clothes. The sunrises and sunsets are beautiful, Watching the cattle and the calf's was awesome. Thank you Cheryl for everything we definitely recommend staying here one of the best VRBO we have stayed at, Thank you Cheryl for everything and all you did to make our stay the Best!

Great Get-Away in the Country

This place was very nice, one of the best places we have stayed in. Very well stocked with everything you need. It is in the country, and quite. Very roomy and country decor of the place was very nice and enjoyable. The host lives next door, and very friendly and accommodating. Easy, zero entry access and parking immediately outside. We would recommend this to anyone for a very relaxing place to stay.

Cleanest and most accommodating rental experience!

We enjoyed this home away from home more than any place we have tried. We have rented more than a dozen places and none so far have the feel of home, cleanliness and overall well stocked with everything you could need. Also easy to find, good parking and peaceful setting! We held a family dinner and brought many items we found that we didn't need because it was there. The owner is wonderful. Easy check-in and out.

This cottage gives all the feels!

We were met by the nicest owner, Cheryl who made us feel like home! The cottage was absolutely lovely, spacious, clean and well stocked! It’s was quiet and we felt like we were at home, not somewhere where we had to “be careful” and not touch anything. Our dog Piper was as much of a guest as we were. She also freely at home! Well definitely be staying again (maybe yearly as a long weekend vacation)!!

All the comforts of home...

The owner met us at the property to walk us through a few things and provided information about the general area. The cottage is within easy driving distance to Abilene, Junction City, and Lake Milford. Cheryl's cottage is very clean and has all the amenities - coffee pods/keurig, filtered water, shampoo/soap, washer/dryer, extra blankets, etc. She told us to feel like we were at home. We enjoyed our stay and plan to rebook if we travel to Lake Milford again.
