Villa Vauvert's strategic location, nestled between Saignon and Apt, makes it a perfect base for your holiday. Explore the region, from charming perched vilages, to provencal markets and sprawling lavender fields from the comfort of this beautiful home.
An enchanting provencal house, large infinity pool, several terraces both in leafy shade or in floods of sunlight, outside dining and absolute calm, Villa Vauvert is the promise of relaxation and cherished moments.
This beautiful holiday home comprises two distinct buildings, La Maison Rose and la Petite Maison, seamlessly blending the warmth of typical Provençal architecture with modern comfort. The 4 bedroom Villa sleeps 10 (including two children), with two bedrooms in the main house (la Maison Rose) and two bedrooms in the little cottage (la Petite Maison). All bedrooms are air conditioned, and have their own ensuite bathroom.
La maison Rose has two spacious bedrooms with ensuites, a living/dining room and a fully equipped kitchen, opening out to the terrace and out door dining and bbq area. The large terrace, which adjoins the kitchen, is like an outdoor room. With its large wooden table, gas BBQ and awning for shade, it’s the ideal place to share meals with friends or family.
The living room has a wood burning stove, smart TV, WIFI and bluetooth speakers. La Petite Maison, adjacent to la Maison Rose, is made up of two bedrooms/bathrooms, one on each floor, each with independent access for greater privacy.
The house is set in 9 hectares (22 acres) of private forest. The English and French speaking owners live on the same property and are available to help if needed (including home cheffing service) but the house is private, with it's own garden and exclusive use of the pool.
Relax beside the large infinity pool, which has a variety of seating and sun loungers and is bordered by a beautiful flower-filled garden. The pool area is private and fenced-in for greater safety.
With it's acres of woodland, this unique property gives a sense of being in the midst of nature while also being very close to the ameneties of Saignon and Apt. This home is a hidden gem.

Villa Vauvert is nestled in a private forest, in the Parc du Luberon. Just 2km from the beautiful perched village of Saignon, and 2km from the charming provencal town of Apt, famous for it's Saturday market, Villa Vauvert is in a great spot! One hour from Aix en Provence, one hour from Avignon, and just a short drive to some of the most beautiful provencal towns: Lourmarin, Isle sur la Sorgue, Gordes, Roussillon...there is so much to do. Wineries, lavender fields, markets, bike tours or just relaxing by the pool.
For us, it was love at first sight!
Our perfect day starts with a croissant and a big coffee, french-style in a bowl, at Chez Christine in Saignon. Then a visit of Pierre's art studio and a climb up to the Rocher de Saignon, for a beautiful panoramic view of the Luberon. A leisurely stroll around one of the many weekly markets follows, to stock up on some amazing fresh produce and prepare for a long lunch under the shade of our ancient oak trees.
