Cozy Boathouse On the Water

Slow down and unwind in nature at this warm and cozy boathouse right on the water of a 3 acre pond. A wildlife lovers paradise secluded in the forest yet only 12 minutes from downtown Williamsport. Read a book after sleeping beside the electric fireplace or venture outside to take a walk around the pond to the spillway. Whether you choose to have a cup of coffee, a mug of hot cocoa, or a nice glass of wine, you're sure to feel refreshed after a relaxing stay in the serene wilderness.

The boathouse is located adjacent to the main house on an 18-acre property out in the country. Surrounded by woods directly accessed from a main road; we are very secluded yet only 12 minutes from the heart of Williamsport, Pa.

The boathouse is a stand-alone guest house beside the main house where my family of four resides. The driveway and the grounds are shared, but the guesthouse is private with a private entrance.

Guests have private access to the entire guest house (3-story, 2 bedroom, 1 full bathroom, and 2 half bathrooms.)

This charming and cozy boathouse is a unique gem set in a tranquil surrounding. The host is kind and responsive, and provided thoughtful welcoming touches to greet us. The boathouse is very clean, comfortable, and well cared for. The kitchen is well-stocked and large enough to easily prepare meals, and the beds and linens were very comfortable, and free from harsh chemical fragrances. Everything about the home feels just right…big and spacious enough, yet extremely cozy. The location is perfect for enjoying the Pine Creek Gorge Rail Trail and hiking in the area, and is located nearby to Williamsport and grocery store/restaurants. The property is beautiful and the pond attracts birds, deer, and other wildlife. After long days out cycling and hiking, coming back to the boathouse felt like coming home. Thank you for your hospitality! We hope to visit again.

Brittany's lake house is fantastic! It's so much space for the price, located on a gorgeous property overlooking a lily pond with plenty of wildlife and even some trails. Brittany was a great communicator, and we never had issues with checking in or anything else. Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway!

An excellent retreat

The boathouse is a perfectly serene getaway spot. A very unique building and property. The house is clean and comfortable, and exploring up the spiral staircase is a blast. Hope to come back one day.

Perfect getaway for a lazy weekend

We were so impressed with how clean & tidy the house was! We also were so amazed at all of the "little" things our hosts did to make the stay great: there were muffins & eggs for breakfast, and beautiful fall decorations out. We'd love to come back soon!

relaxing getaway

This cozy cabin was just as described - very clean and included all we needed. We loved the setting on the pond, very relaxing but also close to everything. The host provided lots of welcoming items and was quick to reply to all communications. The spiral stair might be a challenge for some. Great stay and would recommend.
