Welcome to "The Moon & Stars Mini Home"- a quaint little home designed to provide you with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Nestled amidst a charming small town, within minutes of attractions such as Capitol Reef N.P., Boulder Mountain, Thousand Lakes Mountain, and Fish Lake National Forest, this little gem offers a quiet and serene getaway for couples or solo travelers. One highlight is access to a hot tub. Immerse yourself in warm, bubbling water under the magical starry "dark skies" of the area, creating an experience that will leave you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.

The simplicity of the open-concept design ensures that everything you need is a stones throw away. The comfortable queen bed with high end sheets help to ensure your restful nights sleep. The cozy seating area is great for curling up with a good read or watching TV.

The kitchenette is equipped with amenities such as a mini-fridge, microwave/convection oven, infrared cooktop, toaster, Keurig, French Press and more. Whip up a quick breakfast or brew a cup of coffee while you plan your day's adventures.

The hot tub is only a few steps from the mini home. Located between the mini home and main house, rest assured that during your stay the tub and surrounding area of the yard, is reserved for guest use only. We value your comfort and privacy.

"The Moon and Stars" is nestled in a tranquil location surrounded by nature's beauty. Step outside and take in the mountain view while sipping your morning coffee. In the evenings, the intensity of the night sky can be mesmerizing! You may even catch a glimpse of a shooting star.

Guesthouse was great and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. We would stay here again and will recommend to friends. Our only wish was that hot tub had a little more privacy.

The little house was darling. There are many cute details. Thick towels, cute dishes. My husband and I loved how cozy it was and the jacuzzi was a plus.

Very beautiful quiet area to stay. Very clean and everything that you need provided. Host contacted us be we good there with door code and a very nice welcome nice welcome message. I highly recommend this place and look forward to staying again in the future

Clean and cozy

We stayed here for one night en route from Bryce Canyon to Capitol Reef. The location was perfect for accessing Capital Reef. It looks unassuming from the outside, but the tiny house was cozy, clean and well appointed, and we were very comfortable.

Wonderful stay!

We loved the access to the property and the amenities inside. The only negative i can say, is the bed was a little too hard for my liking. Other than that it was great. Thank you so much for having us!

Cute, comfortable little cottage, and Sarah & Shelly were excellent hosts! We were in the area for a music festival, and this was the perfect, peaceful respite away from the crowds, after the shows. And it is only about a 20 minute drive to the Capitol Reef National Park. So, of course, this entire area is just stunning! Would absolutely recommend staying here.

National Parks and Skydiving

Beautiful cabin and hostess. I loved every minute there. I look forward to going back and visiting my new friend. I hiked all 5 parks, saw amazing things in Utah, and even tried Skydive Moab. I sat on the back porch with hostess Shelley and just talked and relaxed on the last day. I couldn’t have asked for a better trip.

Quiet, relaxing, & a perfect weekend getaway spot

Shelly was amazing. She gave us our privacy but on check in let us feel welcome and assured us to contact her if we had any issues or questions. Very clean place and relaxing, it’s the perfect weekend getaway and very close to Capital Reef and had all the amenities you would need.

Very clean, cozy, and comfortable. Felt that we had plenty of privacy. Shelly was very thoughtful and left us a personalized Happy Birthday message :) And just a short walk to Curry Pizza! We loved our stay here.

A gem of a find!

Little house was absolutely perfect for the two of us. Immaculate and very tastefully decorated and furnished. All needed amenities provided...and then some. Access to private hot tub a definite bonus. Proximity to Capitol Reef was great as it allowed us to be out of the " hustle and bustle" of the tourist areas. Couldn't have asked for a better place to spend a couple of nites. Would stay again for sure.

Our 5th wedding anniversary getaway.

We came to Bicknell, UT to visit Capitol Reef National Park! We were completing the Mighty Five for our 5th anniversary! This tiny home is SO COZY! We felt right at home from the moment we stepped inside. All that we could have needed was provided: extra towels, extra tp and paper towels, plenty of pillows for the bed, cookware, plates, bowls, cups, some spices, coffee and teas and more! They even provided extra towels and clothes specifically for dogs! For us this was SO considerate. This place is totally recommended by us for anyone seeking a home away from home while trying to also adventure and exploring the local area. Our fur babies (dog and cat) were so comfortable and felt safe. If in the area again we will be visiting at a time we could come back to THIS location. We truly loved our stay.
Upon entry of the tiny home. Walking in is so warm and welcoming. This was easily our home away from as we stayed in Bicknell.
Our doggo, Stella, really loved the living room space.
Gorgeous bathroom (the stand up shower is in the corner across from the toilet).
Cheyenne really loved the big window to watch the yard.

My husband and I drove out from Wisconsin to meet up with friends at capital reef and chose to stay in a VRBO. We were so pleased when we walked into the Casita and how warm and comfortable and well cared for it was. It had everything we needed, and we enjoyed relaxing in the morning with our coffee and looking out at the mountain range in the distance. This Casita is so well taken care of that. We wanted to care for it well also. Would recommend us to anyone traveling to the area. My husband also enjoyed the great dark sky site as he had brought his telescope and enjoyed a tour of the sky at night.
