Ubicado en Manuel Antonio, el destino más popular de Costa Rica. Esta casa de 2 dormitorios y 2 baños ofrece una experiencia cómoda y tropical en un entorno residencial tranquilo.

La casa se encuentra a 4 minutos a pie de la carretera turística entre Manuel Antonio y Quepos, a poca distancia de varios restaurantes y hoteles. Hay estacionamiento fuera de la calle en la propiedad, alternativamente se encuentra a minutos de una parada de autobús a las tiendas y playas locales.

La casa tiene un plano de planta abierto, que incluye cocina y sala de estar, con ventiladores de techo y de aire acondicionado. El salón tiene un sofá grande y cómodo, televisión digital de pantalla plana. La cocina, aunque pequeña; está bien equipado con utensilios de cocina, utensilios de cocina y electrodomésticos, hay asientos estilo bar para disfrutar de una relajante copa de vino mientras se cocina. Las puertas de vidrio conducen a una terraza sombreada con azulejos con vistas a la selva tropical. Esta sala de estar exterior tiene una parrilla de gas, sillas cómodas y una mesa de madera y sillas para cuatro personas ... ¡perfecto para cenar en el trópico!

La Master Suite se encuentra en el primer piso, esta es una habitación espaciosa, luminosa y espaciosa con una cama King size. Esta habitación tiene aire acondicionado y ventilador de techo. Las puertas de vidrio conducen a una terraza privada ... perfecta para mirar las estrellas y observar a los monos. Este nivel tiene pisos de madera, amplios armarios de madera (con caja de seguridad integrada) y un atractivo baño completo en suite. El segundo dormitorio está abajo con una cama de tamaño completo (tenga en cuenta que esta es una habitación muy pequeña) pero tiene aire acondicionado, ventilador y una cómoda cama completa. Hay un baño completo con ducha en el nivel de abajo también.

La casa tiene una fabulosa piscina comunitaria situada en jardines tropicales a pocos minutos a pie de la casa. Hay muchas tumbonas y un área sombreada para relajarse con muebles de patio. Los monos cara blanca y cara blanca visitan el área regularmente, así como los perezosos y las aves tropicales.

Esta casa ofrece el mejor valor para una casa de alquiler de 2 dormitorios en la zona. Disfruta de un espacio tropical, limpio y cómodo sin romper tu presupuesto.

This property is absolutely fantastic! The hosts are kind and very accommodating. The wildlife experience on the balconies is world class!! The home is well appointed. I stayed for almost 3 months and titi monkeys, capuchin monkeys, howler monkeys, toucans, macaws, and a variety of birds visited the trees! The monkeys run on the roof and get within 10 feet of you in the trees. Its magical! The pool is fabulous! The neighborhood is beautiful in the rainforest. You can't do better than this property for a wonderful stay in Manuel Antonio!!

House was clean and well kept. Direction to property were perfect and very easy to follow. Perfect location admidst the jungle with easy access to main road in and out of both Quepos and Manuel Antonio. Katherine is a super host, with quick communication and super friendly. Trip of a lifetime!

We had such an absolutely amazing time staying at Katharine’s Vrbo in Costa Rica! She was so helpful with recommendations on restaurants, activities, and local favorites. I would highly recommend staying at Katherine‘s VRBO anytime of the year!

Wonderful location!

This was the perfect location for our first time in Costa Rica! Nestled right between Quepos and Manuel Antonio with easy access to public transportation. We were able to experience all of the amazing wildlife from the condo patio. It was beautiful!

Great getaway in the jungle

We loved this house rental so much! It was in such a beautiful place surrounded by trees with monkeys and birds, and a beautiful communal pool. There was tons of space inside for our kids to play, stocked toys and games for them, and the hosts provided us with additional baby gear if we needed it. They gave us lots of recommendations, communication was great, and also had a full fruit plate and coffee there for us when we arrived which was so nice. We liked the location since it was away from the busy areas but only a 5-10 min drive to thr main towns, restaurants, and beaches.

Spacious and relaxing

The property is well maintained. It has all the necessary amenities and we loved sitting on the deck and listening to the birds chirping. Very secluded and relaxing. All little diffucult to access, as it is set back off the main road. Katharine gave us great directions. Without them it would be much harder to find. Enjoyed our stay.

Great stay for a couple

We felt very relaxed in this bungalow, surrounded by trees. This is a community of 16 different bungalows (some a bit more dated than others), home to many expats, in a treed residential area. You share a big community pool surrounded by a lovely garden and a destination to monkey troops, toucans, and scarlet macaws. The bungalow is well kept with a big lower terrace and a smaller upper balcony, which was our favourite area to sit in the morning and observe the many birds. Katharine and John live right next door and are super responsive to any requests. The split-level bungalow has a spacious master bedroom upstairs with a king-sized bed (and A/C), and there is a small bathroom with shower under the roofline. The lower bedroom is truly small, and we used it mainly for storage. I would say the place is ideal for a couple and perhaps a younger child, but a stretch for two couples. Local bus stops are within walking distance to take you to the beach area, or bring a 4x4 car to explore the beaches yourself. The (only) main road in Manual Antonio is super busy with cars, very hilly and there is no shoulder to walk on, so plan on public transport or a car to get around. This bungalow is set back from the road (no traffic noise, much appreciated!) in the proximity of Hotel California. We would stay there again!

Above and Beyond

I've stayed in rental properties the world over. I love the privacy, affordability, and the "at home" feeling that they offer. That being said, Katharine and John's rental was by far one of the best. The house was beautiful ( we watched monkeys from our porch and slept on the most comfortable bed known to man). The location felt isolated, but was accessible to Manuel Antonio and Quepos easily by bus (for only 50 cents each way). But most importantly, Katharine and John are excellent property managers that totally went above and beyond what was required in terms of service. When our connection was delayed, Katharine arranged for last minute private transport after I frantically emailed her from the airport. She gave me a ride to the grocery store the day after my arrival and helped me purchase a bus ticket when I had to leave early for a conference. None of these things were required of them, and frankly I feel a bit guilty because they shouldn't have been necessary. However, John and Katharine cheerfully helped us out with a smile. I would recommend their property without hesitation. A few tips - Rent a car in Quepos if you want more freedom to see the beaches. Eat at the soda down the street. Relax and enjoy nature on their patio. You'll have a wonderful time. I sure did.

Great Manuel Antonio/Quepos Location

We had an enjoyable extended stay in this Manuel Antonio property. Early morning visits from various monkeys and birds were among the highlights. Access to the park and tours was most convenient. Nearby restaurants offer excellent fare and are within convenient distance. Or you can prepare your own meals to enjoy on the well covered veranda. Katharine is a very accommodating host. My many questions were always answered completely. She can also connect you with an excellent local tour guide before you book a crowded bus or van. This will always be a treasured memory.

Hosts are great!

We stayed for a few weeks and had a lovely time. We had everything we needed and anything we didn’t have, Katharine helped us out with. A few things to keep in mind for those staying longer than a week or two is that the roads here don’t have sidewalks so be prepared to take the bus everywhere unless you rent a car. If you look on a map, you’ll see that things aren’t far away but it’s very hard to walk given the weather, w, and way the roads are here. Overall we had a great stay and recommend staying with Katharine!

Wonderful!

Amazing we loved our stay! Saw macaws, Tucans, 3 different types of monkeys. Love setting on the porch enjoying the rain! Katharine was so helpful we needed help with getting our medication. We are truly graceful! Also my granddaughters dress accidentally were left in the closet. Called Katharine and she had them sent to the next tow we went too! Just a perfect time !

Wonderful home in a beautiful setting!

We loved this house, the community it's in, and all the people we met! It was the perfect size for my husband, 10-year-old, and myself. The house was clean and comfortable, and Katharine helped with so many suggestions for dining and tours. It's hard to describe just how magical the location of this house is -- surrounded by lush vegetation, which is inhabited by beautiful birds, monkeys, and other animals. We met several people who own houses in the community or had visited there multiple times, and they were all so friendly. We hope to make it back to Costa Rica some day after our experience this time being so spectacular!

This is a great home base for exploring Manuel Antonio and south to Uvita. We really enjoyed the villa, neighbourhood with pool, and all the wildlife!!! John was a great host - always answering questions within minutes! Thanks for renting to us!

Bulls Eye

The facilities were in the middle of all activities and the wildlife was incredible. Monkeys, tropical birds and capybara's. It was 10 min to town, the marina and the beach. Jonathan was helpful with advice and offerings. The streaming was the best I've had to date in Central America.

Can't beat the wildlife on this property!

Stayed here for 2 weeks while visiting Manuel Antonio. We enjoyed the house, the pool and the wildlife very much. No bugs in the house and lots of geckos to keep guard. We would love to come back again!

Perfect Work-From “Home” Getaway

Katharine was a wonderful and attentive host and this house was perfect for my wife and I. We used the spare bedroom as an office but the house would work great for two couples or a small family. Everyone has mentioned it, but the bedroom balcony has the best view in all of Costa Rica of the Howler Monkeys, Squirrel Monkeys, and Capuchins. The A/C works great and the internet can easily handle two people working, using VPNs, and making video calls/presentations. Also, the shared pool between the villas is very refreshing and perfect for relaxing on a lunch break. My wife and I walked to La Luna restaurant at Gaia hotel for a sunset dinner twice because the views and food are spectacular. It is only a 5-minute walk from the villa. I would absolutely recommend this stay.

I cannot stress how amazing this property is. The wildlife here is hands down the best in Costa Ric

I went to the balcony every morning and had titi monkeys, capuchin monkeys, macaws, woodpeckers. The community is amazing and i can't wait to return!

Jungle Bungalow - 15 Las Palmas

Absolutely the best! Katharine was awesome - knowledgeable about the area, things to do and places to go. So enjoyed our porch chats with her! House was as described on Vrbo and we were entertained by the monkeys on several mornings! Would go back in a heartbeat!

Wonderful Jungle Bungalow

Wish we would have had more time there. Great Costa Rican style bungalow in the jungle. Monkeys, Macaws and Tucans during the day, a beautiful pool, fully stocked kitchen... There were no complaints! Was so nice to even have some fresh fruit waiting there for us when we arrived.

One of our favorite things about the house is the open plan concept with the feature window with an etched jungle scene. I feel like I am in the jungle, even when I am inside!
I love that there are 2 decks..great for monkey and birth watching or for sharing good food/ cocktails and enjoying the tropical sunshine or a balmy night.
