'Granny's Country Cottage' is a peaceful home base for friends and families that are seeking a country retreat and a peaceful location to unwind.

Bedroom 1: Queen Bed on ground floor | Bedroom 2: King Bed on second floor Bedroom 3: Queen Bed on second floor

OUTDOOR LIVING: A restful covered front porch, bench swing, furnished outdoor dining on the patio, a fire pit with wood, forest/farmland views, and groomed walking paths throughout the forested land. Pastures of grazing cattle, chickens, pygmy goats and an occasional deer sighting incircle the home.
INDOOR LIVING: 2 flat-screen TVs, (living room is a smart tv) Direct-TV services, DVD player, comfortable furnishings, dinning and lounging for six, games, books and videos.
KITCHEN: Fully equipped, drip coffee maker, microwave, crockpot, stove, oven, cooking basics, dish-ware/flatware, additional table and seating for six on adjacent patio.
GENERAL: Cental heat/air, Linens/towels, iron & board, washer & dryer, hairdryer, self-check-in
PARKING: Long circular driveway, 220-volt electric car charging station, trailer parking.WiFiis broadband and supports streaming or gaming.

Get out of the city and reconnect with loved ones on your next trip to the Bluegrass State. This 3-bedroom, 1-bath vacation rental sits on 19 acres of farmland just outside of Campbellsville, allowing easy access to downtown and outdoor adventures. 'Granny's Country Cottage' boasts a cozy and fully furnished den/LR, kitchen, indoor and outdoor dining areas, and everything else you need for a relaxing stay. Rent a boat for a day on Green River Lake or check out the Bourbon Trail with Makers Mark just 35 minutes up the road!

Walk the trails, visit the animals sit and swing on the front porch. Yet, follow these simple rules.
- Please, no smoking inside the residence but feel free to smoke on the cover front porch or back patio
- No pets
- No events, parties or large gatherings (exceeding 12-15)
- Must be at least 25 years old to book
- Additional fees and taxes may apply if rules are violated.
- NOTE: The home has a strict maximum occupancy of 6 people. Guests will be assessed a $500 fee if maximum occupancy is violated.

Please consider this rating as a retaliatory rating The home and property was spotless upon arrival as I and my cleaner can attest. This guest made the booking and never came to our home but rather sent a gaggle of young people and apologized for their behavior when contacted on day 3 of a 5 day booking. This group was evicted from our home after we entered our outbuilding to discover a young buck’s bleeding body that had been drug across our property and concrete patio. The animal was left unattended on a fairly new concrete floor while bleeding out…and we even refunded them for the days left on their booking after the eviction.

Property served our needs while visiting family nearby. The property was easy to find and the kids enjoyed being able to give treats to the farm animals. The home stayed very warm during our stay and hot water was never a problem. Everything we needed was found in the home and the host was very gracious when it came to a couple of broken glasses.

Off in the country.

The charm of the old farmhouse was great. We enjoyed the house and it has modern conveniences. The animals were friendly. Only stayed two nights but I could see staying here a week or more. Close enough to Bardstown and away from any city traffic. Very comfortable.

Cozy Farm House

This is our second stay we thoroughly enjoyed the house and the peace and quiet. We loved being close to everything but still being able to be in the quietness of the countryside. Owners were gracious and kind. We would recommend this place to everyone!

Great place. We stayed here for my niece’s graduation from Campbellsville University. 5 min to the university so it was perfect for that. Beautiful location on the farm. Loved seeing the goats and the horse and mule. Clean, well kept, cute house.

Perfect place for our family

Came to town to visit our daughter who goes to school at the University. We have stayed at a couple other properties but this has been the best. Perfect distance from town, the rural countryside is amazing, home is lovely, host is amazing, it was everything we could have wanted and more. Loved it!

Ronnie and Darlene have hosted vacation properties since 2008. We enjoy meeting guest who express the interest and we will introduce you to the resident animals according to your preference. Each winter we spend the low travel season sprucing up our properties by modernizing decor, adding and new amenities, and replenishing our homes with fresh batteries, bulbs and pillows.

The cottage faces south about 45 yards off of the main road on an acre lot surrounded by farmland to the west, north, and east. The closest neighbor is over 100 yards away affording occupants privacy and space! Rest a while at the newly built Monitor barn with its beautifully furnished sitting area. Approximately 100 yards northwest is a small spring fed pond and a bench positioned to take in the natural beauty of the countryside. The city provides parks, playgrounds, a movie theater, a recreation center (The Lanes), dinning, shopping and medical services.

Granny’s will take you to a slower, calmer, homey lifestyle. Play pitch with the kids or a board game on the picnic table under the shade of a mature maple tree. Go out to the barn and pet the pigmy goats (Sparkle and Glitter), visit the chickens behind the barn or have a conversation with Raven (horse) and Junior (donkey) as they stroll by the fence while pastured.
