Great location right on the beach. Never got tired of the heated pool and lazy river. Excellent food and snacks served poolside or Oceanside.

Family Vacation

The resort was perfect for us 2 kids 7 and 4. Had a really nice pool with lazy river. Private beach with chairs set up for you. On site restaurant and bar. Had to Uber to off site places they are over a mile away.

Summer Reunion

Great location, fun activities, food on site, and friendly staff. Was surprised by the 55 a day parking fee AND the 52 a day for activities. Also, there is a 35 a day charge if you want housekeeping service (i.e new towels, sheets, floors swept). Room was nice, air worked amazingly, and balcony was perfect. Two suggestions: a better hair dryer and a broom/dust pan for the sand.

Love this property!

This is our 4th year to vacation at this property! We love that it is directly on the beach, staff is great, and location is so convenient! It is very relaxing and it helps that it is a suite with a small refrigerator, microwave, coffee machine, and dishes.

Hope to return!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at pelican grand resort. It was a very relaxing vacation! We really appreciated the kindness of all the staff who go above and beyond the beach service of chairs and umbrellas is truly a game changer. We did not rent a car and Uber for when we went to visit offsite location locations. There is not much within walking distance however if you’re looking to go relax and enjoy service and fun would highly recommend.

Great Beach Vacation

If you want a beach vacation this place is great. Food is delicious, service is great, pool is awesome. Staff is very friendly and helpful!! Love the room that has the sitting room and balcony and Oceanside view. Beach is very accommodating with chairs umbrella and towels all provided for you. Been coming here for years and still love it l!!!

5 Star Stay / Looking forward to returning

I cant say enough about this Unit, Resort, Staff, Food, and all the amenities included during this trip. We spent most of the day by and in the water (Beach, Pool, Lazy River). We loved the new addition the Resort now has (Free shuttle to the Lauderdale by the sea and Las Olas Area). Mid-way through our stay we booked a return trip here and we are already looking forward to our return.

Girls Getaway

The Pelican Resort is a fantastic place to stay. Friendly staff and clean facility. The room was as described. Beds were very comfortable. Had issues with not receiving check in instructions after requesting over a 8 hour period, and didnt get a response until VRBO got involved.

It was beautiful. We really enjoyed staying here. My only complaint was check in. I booked through vrbo. Front desk could not find my reservation. I had emailed owner previously about check in process. They were not timely in responding. After an hour or so front desk finally found out reservation.

It is OK

The room was dirty. It still had someone’s nose spray in it. There was still dental floss pics on the bathroom floor along with here in the shower the main restaurant needs help with staffing. The Emporium is cute but extremely overpriced and one of the women were not very friendly. Most of the stuff was very nice at the pool. The woman that was serving was extremely nice the stuff that would help you to your chairs at the pool was extremely nice as well as the people on the beach there are some who just need some help with customer service being friendly. We’ve been going to this property for 15 years. It was disappointing to see the room dirty and in the lazy river, they did not clean it daily and there was still food containers left along the lazy river. The location of the property is great.

Perfection!!

Went here with my best friend with the goal of just relaxing and spending quality time together. First off, they have updated the rooms so the pictures you see in the listing are outdated. They are NICE rooms!! Beds are updated and the furniture is too. We wouldn’t have even know we were renting through VRBO because you check in and have all the amenity access that a regular resort guest has. And the service by the staff is top notch! They set up your chairs and towel on the private beach for free. Bring you food and drinks if you want. Room service. Really nice restaurant. We even did a sound bath up in the spa. They offer yoga and other activities too, for a small 20 price each which is what I pay at home for a session anyways. This place is seriously a diamond in the rough! They do have a shuttle to use between 6-11pm which was nice to take us down the road to dinner, but that’s the only time we left the resort since we had everything we needed right there!

Great Resort - Room needs some updating

We had a great time at this resort...service, staff, food, pool, beach. The room definitely needs some updating; chipped paint, worn furniture, but overall good. There were a couple odd things; the windows/door on the oceanfront had no screens & the windows do not open. The door is a heavy outdoor door that had to be propped open with a chair to get the outdoor experience and it is very heavy. So while you are inside, you have no option of having the air come in. The view is beautiful, but you are closed in. Also, they have a cabinet in the living room with a micro wave (didn't work) toaster oven, etc. However, no dishes, only one bowl and no utensils. So we couldn't heat up or eat the amazing leftovers from the restaurant. Those were the 2 things that were inconvenient...otherwise, a nice room space. Also, never received a confirmation the day before and when I messaged the host, the response did not come until the next day. Thankfully there were no problems.
