Catalina Island getaway with 6 seat golf cart A/C

Located in Hamilton Cove on Catalina Island, this newly remodeled condo offers a peaceful stay for the entire family. Here you will enjoy beautiful ocean views with a balcony to entertain outside. The relaxing waves crashing below will keep your mind away from everyday stress. Community includes pool, spa, exercise room, tennis courts, private beach and private pier with a dock as well as a playground for the children. Condo has newly installed A/C. Please note unit has stairs.

Private gated community with 24/7 security present

The best way to get to the condo is the use of a taxi from the boats. Tell the taxi driver you are going to "Hamilton Cove". The condo is located at "Building 1 unit 60" or tell them "1-60".

The condo is on a hillside and you can access the place either from the top or the bottom of the hill. It's easier to walk down stairs than up them (obviously), so we suggest the taxi drop you off at the top. Tell the taxi driver to drop you off "at the top at the second entrance to the first building". This way you just walk down to unit 60 and enjoy the ocean view on the way down.

The front door has a lockbox and a unique code will be provided to you via text on the day of arrival. There are two keys, one for the door and the other for the brand new 6-seater golf cart parked at the bottom of the stairs. Just walk to the right when exiting the stairs and the golf cart is in space 60. You can use this golf cart around in the community and drive it into and around town.

There are 2 bedrooms each with a queen bed. The couch is a sleeper sofa with a queen mattress. In addition, we have two queen air mattresses in the guest bedroom closet

The condo comes with free use of a golf cart. This is a brand new golf cart that seats 6. There is an assigned parking spot at the condo

We have many items for infants and toddlers including high chair, toddler inflatable bed, crib, door gate, safety locks for cabinets, outdoor portable chair, toys, step stool, and more. Let me know if need something and we may have it or can possibly get it.

GREAT PROPERTY!!! Ideal location on Catalina Island. Just a short golf cart away from all of Avalon. The Conco itself is in the perfect location at Hamilton Cove, right in front of the community beach access, pool, sand volleyball court, and sand BBQ area. The condo looks just as the photos detail. The view from the condo is AMAZING.The only reason I didn't give it a 5-star rating is that there are a lot of stairs to get to the condo from the street. I was with my 70-year-old mom and 69-year-old aunt, and the stairs were a struggle for them. Overall, I would stay there again and would recommend the property to anyone.

We had a wonderful stay in Catalina with our Son and Daughter-in-law. The Condo at Hamilton cove was perfect for the 4 of us. The drive into town was easy but we appreciated the quiet of the Cove and the comfort of the Condo with beautiful views from the living area and balcony. The beds were comfy and bathrooms updated. The condo was clean, kitchen well appointed and we appreciated the A/C. Communication with Scott was really easy. The beach was great for swimming. I recommend!!

Maybe the best unit in Hamilton Cove. Great owner that was quick on the assist if something went wrong. Thanks Scott! BEAutiful views, really clean, and the A/C worked perfectly. The golf cart held all six of us and some shopping bags, very clean and easy to run about town in. The Hamilton Cove facilities were immaculate, and the gate guard was a cool dude once you understand his vibe. This was in our top five all time great VRBO stays!!!! Worth every penny!!

Hamilton Cove - worth it

Incredible stay. House was awesome. View was awesome. Hamilton cove is awesome for swimming, snorkeling and actually being in nature. Bring a good mask and fins please. Golf cart super handy for running around. One kid got a viral cold and that was a bummer but the rest of us had a blast. You can watch your kids swim from the condo balcony. Feels super safe. The beach is a NICE ESCAPE from the Descanso Beach CLUB where the loud music NEVER stops...would stay again if I could afford it LOL.

Beautiful Location

This was a beautiful location with a gorgeous view and having the golf cart was a plus! But be mindful of the stairs. I took my 70 year old parents and the stairs were kind of a lot. Be ready to work out.

Loved our stay here! Access was a little rough with all the stairs but that’s to be expected in Hamilton Cove so make sure you come prepared!! The host was absolutely amazing and accommodating to us and even with a hiccup in our potential plans of being able to stay, was completely understanding and kind! Overall, It was very comfortable and also has such a beautiful view! Hope to be back next year! Side note. If you do have very small babies, please bring your car seat with you to put in the golf cart! Unfortunately no where on the island has the option to just rent a seat without a golf cart, we did get a booster with the stay which was much appreciated for our older kiddo, but couldn’t take my smallest into town bec the only business there that offers a car seat rental never got back to me and I didn’t feel safe without on. This has nothing to do with our stay here, but just hoping to help a family out!

Great stay! Easy communication. Breathtaking view. Having a rental with a golf cart is a must on Catalina, especially Hamilton Cove. So glad this condo came with one that fit us all.

This was such an amazing stay and time. Be sure you’re ok with steps and stairs, but it was completely worth it. Felt like an exclusive resort.

Beautiful view with lots of stairs

The property is decent but needs a little organizing, updating and TLC. Games, toys and items are disorganized and closets unusable and full of random things. Bedding felt cheap. Wasn’t the cozy experience we were hoping for but the view was great.

Perfect Stay!

Scott’s place fit all our needs for an amazing weeklong stay, and he was an excellent host, very responsive and helpful. The view from the living room and master bedroom is spectacular, and the ‘Mermaid’ shower was dreamy! Having the golf cart made getting around town super easy, and the Hamilton Cove community is just beautiful. Thank you, Scott!

Beautiful property; would stay here again

My parents, young sons (4 & 6 years old,) and I all had a great stay at Scott's property and would happily rent again. The kitchen was nicely stocked & very clean, the games and child-friendly entertainment were ample & much appreciated, and the view/location is unbeatable. Scott was friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with, and we had no big issues during our stay. One thing to note for small kids or elderly guests is that the condo does have some interior steps/tripping risks... a step down from the kitchen/dining area to the living room, and an odd ~1.5 inch step down into one bedroom, which is unexpected and my kids stubbed their toes on (hard) several times before we ended up rolling up a towel to block/highlight that little ledge. After that, they were able to remember to step up & over the bump. Maybe some colorful tape there, or a foam bumper? This is probably not a big deal for most adults, but something to be aware of for any mobility issues. My only disappointment was the pull-out/inflatable bed in the living room. No one should have high hopes for a pull-out, I suppose, but it would be a stretch to fit 2 adults on this. We luckily only had 5 people in our group (and two of those were small kids) but if we were 6 adults, it would have been an uncomfortable sleep. Overall it was a great stay! Scott has been thoughtful in decorating, maintaining, and stocking his property, with lots of kitchen equipment and extra bedding, etc. We'd love to come back!
