Sandy Shores on Two Inlets Lake; Gateway to the Two Inlets Trail System

This wonderful house on Two Inlets Lake has it all! If you like to enjoy the lake in the summer, the hard sandy bottom is just for you. If you enjoy snowmobiling or ATV/UTV rides, the Two Inlets Trail System literally starts at the end of the driveway! If you're into hiking, biking, or cross country skiing, Itasca State Park is only 15 miles away. Whatever you like to do, this place is for you (even if it's just relaxing by the fireplace)!
The space
There are 3 bedrooms with a master bath and a common bath. The washer and dryer are available for use. The furniture (with the exception of the dining room table) was all purchased new in December of 2023. Virtually all kitchen items were also purchased in December of 2023 (dishes, silverware, pots, pans, knives, coffee makers, etc.).
Guest access
The attached garage can be used for storing gear and putting on/taking off riding gear. Please do not park vehicles in it and please keep the doors closed.
Other things to note
Located directly on the Two Inlets Trail System.
4 Beds; 1 King, 1 Queen, 2 Twins
The dock is taken out the third Sunday in October

This is our 2nd time we have rented this place. The sunrises are beautiful! The house was super clean and have everything you could possibly need in the kitchen (spices, oil, coffee, creamer, baggies, plastic wrap, tin foil) you name it they had it. The 4 wheeling trails are great we put on over 200 miles with our side by sides in two days. We would love to come back in the summer to do some fishing.

The property is great and the owner has everything you need for a great stay. They have thought of it all! Owner is great with communication and is available for any and all needs. Will definitely come back.

This is the nicest, cleanest, most “well-stocked with amenities” home we’ve stayed in! Everything we needed was there, both inside and outside… from extra bath towels, kitchen utensils and condiments, cozy blankets, and kids’ toys inside… to lounge chairs, watercraft, life jackets, lovely dock with floating platform, sand and lawn toys, and the well-cared for yard and garden outside. The lake views and of course the lake experiences were great. This is a vacation place all ages and abilities can enjoy.Special shout out to the great communication from hosts and information packet! The Wi-Fi was really good, and check-in/ out easy too.

Relaxing Long Weekend

Sandy Shores at Two Inlets Lake is a wonderful place to stay. It is quiet, clean and the kitchen is stocked with just about anything you can imagine! My family especially loved the screened in porch and comfortable lawn chairs down by the lake which made our stay even more relaxing!

Fantastic

The lake home was spotless and equipped/supplied beyond expectations. The grandsons enjoyed tubing and the beach, plus the large yard was great to play in as well. Two Inlets is a great recreational lake. Didn't do much fishing, but saw many people doing so. We had been going to a resort on a neighboring lake for 25 years, but it was condo-ed this year so we were looking for a new place to start new memories and I believe this is the place!

Family get away

It was a great place! Very peaceful and relaxing. The house was perfect it had everything u could think of. Definitely worth it! If we head that way again we will definitely see if u have openings!

Nice fishing getaway.

I was very pleased with this place. Full kitchen and nice showers. Beautiful dock to have two boats tied to. Very clean and stocked with amenities if you forget to bring something. Caught some nice fish as well! Would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice place to stay.

The house was gorgeous. We really enjoyed our stay! It was a fishing trip for a bunch of us guy friends. The fishing was a little off due to the weather changes but overall was a great weekend! Thanks for the hospitality!

After Christmas stay

We just got back from a fabulous visit at Sandy Shores. Our family went up for a post Christmas vacation, and plan to ice fish every day. The house was amazing with all the extras that I could think of and even more. The access for us to get on and off the lake was also incredible. I would highly recommend this to any family looking for a Minnesota Lakeshore getaway. We plan on using them again and again.

Perfect spot

Welcoming as soon as you walk in the door. Kitchen had everything needed to survive and then some. Bathrooms fully stocked. Comfortable beds. Close to trails. Beautiful sunsets. Quiet area. Thoroughly enjoyed by all of us. Will definitely be back!

They thought of everything!

For a weekend of exploring trails, sightseeing, and a little fishing, the property owners have paid close attention to all that you could possibly need! It was great to be 15-20 minutes from all of the area attractions.The spacious yard we ideal for parking the trailers for our machines and the large finished garage is perfect for preparing and storing all our riding gear. So nice to keep our dirty and dusty stuff out of house, but still out of the weather. The Two Inlets trails are easy to fully explore in just one day. If you want to explore more, we ventured off to the North and East stopping at Ice Cracking Lodge. It took a few miles of county roads to link up, but it was worth it to make the second day more interesting. The beach, dock and firepit area were perfect and the streetlight in the yard was perfect for distracting the bugs and giving enough light to enjoy the yard way past dark. Too often properties leave you the worn out leftovers for kitchen supplies, but NOT here. The knives, cookware and all the accessories were top quality and made for a wonderful experience.

A Fantastic Family Getaway

Everything about this vacation was truly amazing! Starting when we walked in the front door and looked around to an open airy living/ kitchen area with a view of the beautiful lake! Everything was so clean and neat, including the beach area and yard. There was nothing they didn't think of for our needs. There were bins of sand toys in the garage along with life jackets of every size, which was very helpful for the 4 year old to have a dry life jacket when he was fishing, and a wet one when he was swimming. If I had a question or a need, Bill was on it immediately! The only negative of this whole trip was that the fishing wasn't great- which is no fault of anyone! We still enjoyed every moment! Oh and did I mention the screened in porch!!! We spent a lot of play time and reading time in the porch....the perfect setting! We definitely recommend this place to anyone, whether you are with just adults or with a family- they've got you covered!

Ultimate family friendly hospitality!

We were looking for a relaxing lakeside vacation spot and we found it at Sandy Shores! The house was wonderful - comfortably furnished and had plenty of space for our family of 6. Hospitality was above and beyond! Every thing we needed was here - from aloe vera for an unexpected sunburn, extra towels (including beach towels), sunscreen and bug spray, a stocked toy closet, to the master list noting where items are located in the kitchen (brilliant!). The thoughtfulness that went into this property is impressive and much appreciated!
