Cottage on Crystal Beach | 3BR & BBQ!

Summary:
Welcome to my beautiful cottage!

My place is located on a large waterfront property - the cottage is located just to the side of the main waterfront property and has direct access to the beach just a few short steps away!

I have 3 bedrooms, and 1 bathroom. The bedrooms all have very comfortable mattresses and the bathroom boasts a beautiful marble shower.

The Space:
You'll be able to enjoy free parking on site for 2 cars right out front the cottage. There is clear signage on the property to show where to park. There is a wonderful patio by the entry door that has a great patio table covered with an umbrella and there's a BBQ as well.

You will also be able to enjoy a poker table, foosball, karaoke system, kayaks and more!!

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the entire cottage for themselves!

Other Things to Note:
Please note that bed linens will be provided but comforters and bath towels are NOT provided. Guests must bring their own comforters and bath towels to the cottage. Thank you!

Please note there is another cottage located on the property, however it is completely separate and not attached to this house. The driveway is shared but parking spots are separate.

This house is in a small compound of 3 rentals. This specific rental dies not have a beach view, but has easy access for most. It does have several stairs up and down to access the beach. We enjoyed the patio with grill and hope to come back again.

Location was fabulous, right on the beach, beautiful deck with plenty of seating. House was well equipped, roomy and owner communicated exceptionally with instructions for all aspects of stay and departure. Definitely consider going back to this rental.

Location is great including your own private beach. House is spacious with plenty of room for 6-7-8 (or more). We loved the back deck and grill. We loved the ttwo fridges (one for food, one for drinks). The bathrooms were updated including a new shower with plenty of hot water and water pressure. We will definitely stay again.

Pros:-really reactive host communication fast and effective to fix any problems you have- clean and spacious place- private beach-kayaks, boards, and sun bathing chairs in good condition - big closet with all type of hangers-Lake is wonderful, really beautiful place-climatisation works well-Shower is amazing love it!CONS-no view of the lake from this house, I thought the pictures of the nice patios and all was the one I got but it's not that one. This one is situated behind the big house so you don't see the water and not directly on the beach. Some stairs to climb to get there.-this house is the first alongside the public beach, people didn't stop trespassing, was fed up to fight with them everyday for my private beach, no fence so I bought some things and signs and made one myself ! The owner should have done and thought of that, not for me to do but eh, got my peace after that! Not as peaceful since public so close people and children screaming.-Never was able to get the TV in the bedroom working-missing some Scott towel I had to buy some myself-they were no kayaks paddles when I arrived, ask the host but told me that was all they was, so bought myself one on Amazon. A couples days later, the maintenance guys came and they finally bought some but it was too late for me, already received the kayak paddle (better than the ones they brought) after ask the host to leave it there for them and she agreed to reimbursed me the cost so that was good

Public beach distance from you. First house beside the public beach.
À part of the temporary fence I bought and made myself to keep people from trespassing, seems like all the signs already put by the owner on the balcony are not enough !
Some ticks on the beach, careful, bring your anti-tics spray deet. I just made really sure never to lay directly in the sand and check myself and dog every day and everything was fine, but good to know to prevent and bring what you need.

House

Looking at the photos will not prepare you for the location. This house is a summer only in my opinion because you would spent very little time in the house. We had a rainy weekend so a foos ball table with no foos ball, a poker table with no chips are kind of useless and a smart TV with no remote is as good as no TV. I certainly wasn't prepared to bring my own blankets and towels and I found it very odd there were no waste baskets in the bathrooms. Hopefully the dishwasher will be replaced, broken dishwashers are unhealthy. It wasn't horrible, just disappointing.

Crystal Beach Home Getaway

The cottage was very spacious and had plenty of room for our group of 8. The highlight of our stay was the access to the beautiful private sandy beach. The host was very responsive and helpful with all our requests. There are some minor improvements that could be made to the cottage to enhance our experience such as updating the furniture, appliances and AC system. The controllers for the TV did not work and had no Smart TV function. Guests would need to bring their own devices to hook up to the HDMI if you wanted to watch anything; so mentioning this in the description would have been helpful. Overall, these issues did not affect our stay and we would definitely return.
