Many talk of the vibrant colors and the sensational tastes and sounds that embrace New Orleans, but what the locals don`t want to share is the wonders of Oak Street Corridor. Saturated with outstanding dining options, eclectic bars and coffee shops, as well as an array of shopping! This masterfully reimagined home comes complete with modern day comforts, while still maintaining some of the historical features, including the stained glass, to create a super authentic New Orleans experience!


The layout provides an easy flow to enjoy the indoor and outdoor space together. Every room in the home offers comfort and quality, as well as tech enabled features such as Smart TV, WiFi, and washer/dryer on-site. The bright and open living room is the perfect gathering point as you plot out your day. A fully stocked kitchen will be the delight of the chef in the group, as they`ll have no trouble finding the tools and accessories to prepare and serve a meal. Gather together around the dining room table, seating for 6, and take part in planning the adventure for the day!

Make your way into the bedrooms and settle in! Each of the 3 bedrooms bedroom is outfitted with plush linens and bedding, as well as cloud like mattresses. Sound machines and ear plus are also provided for any light sleepers! The bedroom configurations are as follows:

This home allows dogs (limit of 2) and they must be 25lbs or smaller. There is a nonrefundable fee for pets charged at the time of booking, so please be sure to include the pets on your reservation. Unauthorized pets will result in an additional $250 fine in addition to the normal fee.

Step outside into your backyard hangout, fully fenced for top security for you and your guests. Don`t forget to bring your furry friends along, as the home is pet friendly (with a fee!). Please note, the backyard space is shared with the neighboring unit.

From beautiful sights, taste bud tingling foods, and vibrant live music, who wouldn’t want to visit?! We recommend using public transportation, including streetcars, buses, Uber or Lyft during your stay. For another fun way to explore the area, try Blue Bikes, a ride sharing bike rental all around the city. If you do end up driving in, there is plenty of street parking available near the home.

Only 3 blocks from the Carrollton streetcar! This uptown unit is in close distance to a variety of markets and restaurants, the highway, and a park. The streetcar can take you through the garden district and all the way to the French Quarter!

If you do end up driving in, there is plenty of street parking available near the home and 1 on-site designated parking space for this unit.

Additional rules
1. The booking guest must have their ID uploaded to their airbnb profile.

2. Please be mindful of the neighbors sleeping. We recommend being quiet after 8:30pm (weekdays including Sundays) and 9:00pm (weekends).

3. While early check-in / late checkout may be available, this must be arranged ahead of time for an extra fee. Unauthorized Late checkouts are a $50 charge for each hour after 11am - a 15 minute grace period is given. Late checkouts MUST be requested before 9PM the day before your departure.

4.Clean towels are a provided amenity. Each guest listed through your reservation will receive 1 bath towel and 1 face towel. We are unable to fulfill requests for additional towels during the duration of your stay. Plan ahead while packing, please bring extra towels if you or any of your guests anticipate needing more.

5. Smoking & vaping in the unit will result in a $500 deodorization fee. Please smoke outside of the property.

6. Unregistered guests and parties are prohibited by local laws and ILLEGAL. Our occupancy limits are set by local ordinance. Any guest found to have had a party or over-occupancy will be charged a $1,000 fee for non-compliance with local laws. Exterior cameras present at the property to verify these laws/house rules are not broken. As of May 2022, Airbnb has specifically banned parties from their units. Violation of this rule will result in a ban from Airbnb.

7. Please do not hang or attach anything to the walls with push pins, tape, etc. or other painted surfaces.

8. Please do not use face towels to remove makeup, it damages the towels.

9. If the space is left excessively dirty $50 will be charged for each additional hour of cleaning required. Removal of bodily fluids will result in a charge of $150. Glitter cleanup will result in a charge of $100.

11. After you’ve read these rules, please send me a message with the words “yellow kangaroo” it will let me know that you have read the rules thoroughly.

12. Unfortunately, we cannot accept bookings from “Locals” at this time. Locals is meant to include anyone residing within 60 miles of New Orleans.

13. While we cannot receive any mail or packages to the space we will assist with getting packages shipped to New Orleans if needed.

14. Commercial video and photo shoots are strictly forbidden without prior and authorized consent. Associated day-rate fees, liability waivers and copyright contracts will apply if consent is given.

15. Message us for long term stays.

16. Trash is picked up on Mondays. Please bring the can to the curb.

17. All of our TV`s are streaming, we do not provide any account information, you will have to log into your own. Please remember to log out at check out. We do not have cable TV.

18. Should you wish to receive an early check-in or late check-out, please let us know the day before and we will determine if it`s possible. We require time to prepare the unit for your stay or after your stay for the next guest and sometimes we are unable to accommodate. If we can accommodate, we will charge $25/hour for the additional booking time. This will also be in place for dropping luggage off or leaving your luggage after checkout time has passed. Payment will be requested through Airbnb after your additional time has been approved.

19. Lost Items: We return lost items for a $75 flat fee. This is to cover shipping costs, along with the time spent to retrieve & mail your item. If you leave anything at the unit, please let us know immediately.
