We loved our stay with family in this property, it was perfect for what we needed and host Byron was very responsive. The place is very spacious with different levels. We enjoyed the fire place next to the creek. The view from the top is beautiful in the mornings. There are grocery stores, gas stations, dollar stores nearby. We would love to come back and stay here again!

Nice and clean accommodation

We chooses the property because of it's for our group size. Accomodation was clean and nicely maintained. Location is good. Good for those want spend time together. Check in and check out process are smooth. Host is responsive to any questions. We had a minor hiccup with dishwasher not working and host offered to send a personal to address it. Due to our short stay, we checked out before it was fixed. Beyond this overall experience is positive.

Great Riverfront home

We loved the house and accesibilty to the river. Our only issue was the gas grill would not work. My only suggestion would be to add a small pancake air compressor. We reallt could have used one for our floats. The small pumps just werent getting us anywhere. We will definatelt stay again

Family Retreat

This property is amazing! We go to Glenwood every summer with my husband’s whole family. The house is perfect for multiple families. Everything we needed was there. The owners were wonderful and chatted with me several times in the days before check-in. We can’t wait for next summer!

Awesome with a couple of kinks

The place overall is truly awesome. The ping pong game room with an extra TV, the main living room with a large amount of seating, dining table, cornhole, outside deck with seating, and right on the river! The place was also very clean. Now for the rough: The entire place swayed the entire stay; not a large amount but enough. With it being on stilts it's not that surprising, but it did give a bit of vertigo the entire time. Some of the bedrooms had sadly hilariously small tv's. Your laying in this gorgeously large bedroom with awesome reading lighting and plug in chargers right there, then you look up to a 25 inch tv on the wall about 10 feet from you (felt like I was back in the 80's lol)!!! The garbage disposal didn't function, which was frustrating. Outside of that there was a massive amount of spiders outside around the place, but it is right on the river so something to be expected. Even with those couple of things, this place is great and I recommend it!

Always A Great Experience While Staying At The Modern

This was our 3rd yr in a row staying at the Modern house and we're extremely happy every yr. They have other great properties that we've seen but we literally love everything about the Modern so much we have yet to change it up lol Lisa is awesome and is always easy to reach and discuss any questions or concerns before,during or after your stay. This has become tradition for my group and it's something we look forward to more than our other trips. Even if the river is low you still can enjoy it because it's literally right out your front door and the views are to die for. Can't wait till next yr. Until then XoX

Awesome experience

The home was everything you could ask for. There was plenty of room, the sunrise and sunsets were magical and our stay was even better than anticipated. The game room offered plenty of entertainment for the kids when they weren’t playing in the river and the upper deck was nice for the adults to visit and catch up on.

Framily Christmas back to basics

We loved the location and the views. The house is as described. Unfortunately we had some below freezing temps upon checking in and the house was not well winterized. We notified the property manager immediately upon checkin and they placed a flood light on the main water supply. No additional contact or concern during our week long stay. We spent the entire first day of our trip bucketing in water from the river to flush toilets and thawing out the main water line and one sewer line. We were one of the lucky few though, the neighboring house was not able to access the main water line and they were without water for 3 days. Not sure if we would return in the winter but I’m sure in the summer months it would be a fun place to stay.

great Location great house

Worked perfectly for family gathering at Thanksgiving. was great having one bed/bath and game room upstairs. Allowed some to "get away" from the hustle and bustle of down stairs. Having two ovens was a big plus. 4 baths and two laundry sets was great for our week long stay as well.

BACHELOR PARTY

This was the perfect place for me and my friends for a few nights! I had 12 dudes up in that place and there was so much space for us. We were able to have a blast and the hosts were very responsive when we had questions. I hope this place is still around when I have a family because I will be bringing them back.

GREAT PLACE FOR GROUPS

The Modern was perfect for our annual college gathering (five couples). It is spacious, beautiful view of the river and provided all the necessary amenities. The lower deck was a very nice area to play corn hole and swing on the porch swing! Very easy access to the river. We highly recommend.

Stunning!

Had the best time with my family, in this most elegant home, over looking the Caddo River. Just steps away from the water, my grand baby could play and we could relax in our lawn chairs in the water. This place is must stay for large groups and is so Kid friendly. The home was stocked with all the amenities you could want. The ping pong table was a hit! We will definitely be back.

Wonderful Family Vacation

We loved this modern and cool house. It is VERY spacious and well appointed. There was room for kids to run and play and adults to hide away! The river is steps away from the house and very easy to enjoy-especially with young kids. We would definitely stay again if we vacation in Arkansas. Highly recommended.

Lovely home

Our family of 16 came from 3 states and this was a great location for us to gather. The home was very unique...many amenities to accomplish the goal of making many wonderful memories together. The home had 4 lovely large master bedrooms with their own bathrooms. The bunk room was great for all of the singles and kiddos. Worked out perfectly. Very nice deck to watch everyone in the Caddo River. The kitchen and great room along with the open concept to the dining area were great to have all of the family in one space at one time comfortably. Lovely spacious home!

Did not disappoint! We had all we needed.

I was apparently too excited to arrive at check-in that i arrived 2 hours early and called and since the cleaning crew was done was allowed to check in early. Rooms are clean; conveniently located; wonderful view. plenty of towels.

Nice Cabin on a Cool River

Great cabin, pictures are very accurate of what you get. River and location turned out to be better than we expected. We would absolutely rent the place again. Side note to the owner 1: kitchen needs a couple new cookie sheets and skillets; currently 3 rusted cookie sheets and 1 skillet isn't enough; the rest of the kitchen was stocked great but I'm guessing a skillet or two has walked away in time. Side note to the owner 2: in my groups opinion you are making a mistake with the entrance and trash situation; your first experience of the property has the feel of pulling into a junk yard and your last experience is a melting smelly trash pile; we would stay here again but a better start and end likely wouldn't take much. Thanks for letting us stay, hope we get to do it again.
