Not a fancy place (we didn't think it would be) but it had everything we needed for a short weekend for an OSU game. The beds were comfy and we felt very safe in the location. The code to get in/out worked fine and were easy for us. Location was great, super short walk to some restaurants/bars/coffee shop. A longer walk to the stadium, but we're walkers so we were fine with it. The only iffy thing is parking, the street out front says a permit is required for anything over 3 hours. We obviously didn't have one and didn't have any issues but just something to be aware of. I would definitely recommend!

We did not take pets. There was plenty of shopping, and restaurants nearby. We hiked in two nice parks, and visited the Art Museum.

Parking was worrisome because of signage on street saying the city required a permit. Hand rails are needed for safety if falling at both front and back steps. Outside lighting needed for safety at front and back doors.

Great location. Kind host with good communication. Pet friendly. Not the cleanest place I've rented... The bathroom/shower and carpet could use a deep clean.

Quaint & cozy on a nice quiet block with plenty of parking. Nearby parks and running trail were a definite plus. Comfy bed. Exactly what we wanted when we picked it

We really enjoyed our stay at this adorable home. Access to the house was very simple, the beds were comfortable and the neighborhood felt safe. We will definitely be back if we are ever in Columbus again

The house was centrally located in a great neighborhood. The on-street parking was a concern of mine, but we always found a spot within a few houses. The vintage house itself was ok but needs some attention: •Not enough plates and silverware•Need outdoor trash can•Steps at entrance are treacherous – need a railing•Cleaning crew left back door unlocked•No hand towels or soap supplied in the bathroom. •Needs a deep-cleaning and some TLC – heavily stained carpeting in large bedroom, noticeable dust and dirt throughout•No smoke alarm, CO2 detector, fire extinguisher etc.Communication prior to our trip was great but dropped off considerably. •I had to initiate contact on the day of arrival and departure to get opening and departing instructions. •I reached out mid stay and I didn’t receive a reply until the next day •All communication took place through the Vrbo posting. A cell phone # for texting would have been preferred for immediate replies•We forgot something in the house and I reached out to Katie about mailing it to me at my expense on 7/26. She confirmed it was located & would mail after current guest departure on 7/29. I have reached out four times since, asking for a status update, including offering to stop and pick it up on 8/16. I have been ghosted and have yet to hear from her 8/17.If you’re looking for a quick stay in a great location and can overlook the above items I’d say give it shot. However, you may be able to do better elsewhere.

Good location, older home

I was a little disappointed that I had to be the one to reach out for access information rather than the host/property manager simply providing the information, but not that big of a deal. More disappointing is the fact that I reached out on Thursday afternoon inquiring about parking. The place is a condo, and it wasn’t clear if there was a designated area located where we were supposed to park. We left on Sunday and I NEVER received a response. Not cool. The house had everything we needed, but it is an older home. That being said, both bedrooms are located upstairs, as is the bathroom, all of which have painted doors. If you are familiar with older homes, paint sticks to paint, so there is no quietly opening the doors without waking everyone else in the night. Also, there was no soap provided for the bathroom, so we had to make a special trip to the store before we could shower. The cleanliness was OK, but when looking for dishes, most were in the dishwasher. I was going to unload the dishes when I noticed the soap in the door had not been used. In other words, somebody filled the dishwasher, but never ran it.I also used the washer and dryer, which were located in the (musty) basement. They worked fine, but there was a large lint pile to the left of the drier, where apparently the lint trap is emptied after each use. Not quite the standard of cleanliness I had expected.That being said, the neighborhood was lovely, and felt very safe, and the location was great.

The property was as pictured. It was clean, cozy and comfortable. The neighborhood was easily accessible and close to plenty of food and entertainment options. I’d recommend this place to friends and would stay again.

We were in town to see a concert at Kemba Live a couple of weeks ago. We selected this location as it is very close to the concert venue. We loved the place, the neighborhood and plan to stay there again. Our dog loved the neighborhood and the little backyard as well!!

Perfect place to stay!

We were able to check into our rental without issue, though the smart lock can seem tricky we found we just had to push harder on the pad to wake it up. We had all the comforts of home while we were there. Thank you Katie for sharing your place with us, we enjoyed our visit!

Not well maintained

Carpet in upstairs bedroom was old and stained and smelled like pet urine. There also were no manuals, guides, etc to explain how the TV worked. The remote did not work for us so we did not get to use the TV. The key pad for the front door seemed like it was low on batteries. The first night it took 2-3 minutes for the key pad to fully appear so that we could enter the code. Prior instructions from the owner would have been helpful here. Communication from the owner was slow. Offered to clean the carpet (more than 12 hours after I brought it up) but we were only there for 36 hours so that wouldn’t have helped us.Would not stay here again.

There were plenty of extra blankets as well as toilet paper. . There was not a mirror in the one bedroom . Blinds in the living room were cracked and broken

Weekend stay

This little place was the best option for affordability and location. It was in a nice part of town and so close to everything we needed to access. Comfortable beds was a plus!
