Tip Toe Cottage overlooking Crockett's Cove

Take a break at this cozy island cottage. This three-bedroom cape provides the perfect setting for a small group or family. Downstairs features an updated kitchen/dining room, full bathroom, laundry room, sitting room, and a guest bedroom with a double bed. Upstairs there are two bedrooms each with queen sized beds. Views of Crockett's Cove can be enjoyed from most rooms in the house. Behind the cottage guests will find a private wooded trail that leads to the ocean where there is a dock and provides the perfect opportunity for swimming and kayaking. Only a short walk away, guests can enjoy access to Tip Toe Mountain Preserve which features a variety of nature and hiking trails. HOUSE RULES:
- Smoking, fireworks, indoor/outdoor fires are NOT allowed
- Please no parties or large gatherings
- Keep the property and all furnishings in good order
- PARKING – Parking is limited to 1 or 2 vehicle(s). Vehicles are to be parked in designated areas only
- Appliances for their intended use only
- Water and Septic: you are on an island, so please be mindful of water usage and waste water
- No fires- even if there is a fireplace, wood stove, or fire pit
- Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. Please follow the check out list before departure.
-Pets: one well-behaved dog may stay on the property with you after approval of the property manager; guests must clean up after their pet, keep pet off the furniture and follow all local leash laws. There is an additional fee of $150.
Garbage: All trash must be stowed in the proper garbage or recycling receptacle. Guests must visit the transfer station before departure.
Transfer Station Hours- Sun, Mon, Weds, & Thurs 7:30am -- 4:00pm
Guests may leave 1 bag of trash at the end of stay if the transfer station is closed. If excessive trash is left it is charged $15/bag.
Returnables: All returnable bottles & cans may be dropped off at far end of the town parking lot downtown to benefit Eldercare services on the island. There are no hours of operation so this may be done anytime.
Lobster shells- If you're planning on cooking lobster, crab, mussels, etc. please visit the dump the day after your meal or if you're on the ocean you may dispose of your shells in the ocean. Anything that comes from the ocean can go back in the ocean. Do not leave lobster shells in the garbage for over 24 hours. With high heats/humidity lobster shells can become a huge mess/smells and can also attract unwanted animals to the property.
