Fabulous location and a flat with everything we needed. We had to wait several hours for the cleaning to be done, but that was an unusual circumstance, I think. Highly recommend

Great Location

The property was just what we needed for our staying London as a family of 4. Close to transport, supermarket and watches the NYE fireworks from the Thames.

Great place to stay and nice host

Clean and comfortable to stay. It takes only 2 minutes from overground station. It takes 30-40 minutes from Waterloo station. Host is very kind. We want to stay again.

Good, but no AC

We enjoyed our stay at the London flat. It was in a neighborhood that had some fun restaurants and easy to get to transportation. Nixon was easy to get in touch with. The place was clean, however, the w/d was full when we got there and wasn't working well, so we cleaned out the filter ourselves and it worked fine. (should have been done before we got there) Also, there is NO air conditioning. There was an oscillating fan, but that is not AC as the listing stated. It is on he first floor, so leaving windows open all the time to let it cool down was not an option. Overall was a good stay.

Good stay

Cute little apartment. Really great neighborhood with shops and transit. Great for 3 or 4 people. Nixon was extremely nice to let us check in several hours early. Can be tough to find keys for check in bc they are on reverse of building. Place is on ground floor so tough to leave windows open overnight. One portable ac unit in living room. Shower also backed up after a longer shower, spilling on floor. Nixon did a good job. Very friendly and responsive. Gave us coffee and other snacks. Airbnb is on the newer side so had to wash some sheets out of packaging, not a big deal for me but some might not enjoy. Only thing to note is that he lives there when not having guests. Totally fine for my group but some travelers might have feelings about personal items staying behind in drawers etc. Would stay again

Great location.

We were very appreciative of Nixon’s help with our early arrival and luggage. He helpful us with our transportation questions. The flat was clean and perfect for two adults and a teenagers. We appreciated the proximity to the train station, bus and subway station. We were only a few blocks away from the historical Mayflower pub. Check in was a bit confusing as we were in the front of the flat looking for the lock box to check in when we needed to walk around the building on another street to find the back door. Upon calling Nixon and getting his help we got in very quickly.

Excellent Launching Pad

Couldn't have been more pleased with this flat. It was my family's first time in London and was the perfect base for all of our explorations. Many landmarks such as the Tower Bridge, Tower of London, and others were very walkable while others were a short Tube ride away from one of the two stations that were very close. The space was definitely a little tight for my wife, myself, and our 17 and 20 year old children, but we didn't hang out in the flat much so it wasn't much of an issue. There was no television in the living room (there is one in the main bedroom, though) which was a bit disappointing but there were two acoustic guitars hanging on the wall that my son and I were able to entertain ourselves with during our stay!There is no central or window AC, but the property owner, Nixon, put a portable unit in an Uber and sent it to us. Luckily it wasn't too warm during our stay, but that could have potentially been an issue cooling all of the rooms if it were. Luckily, it worked perfectly for us. One of the best perks of this stay was working with Nixon, the property owner. I'm not sure that I've ever had an owner communicate so thoroughly with me as this one. His constant communication was in no way suffocating, but very timely and a clear indication that he was truly concerned about our comfort. Will 100% stay again if I ever find myself back in London.
