Book with confidence!!! This is our newly listed 2nd vacation home in Massanutten! We created our 1st one in 2017, and it's been a success, with over 300 - 5 star reviews. We haven't changed a thing. Same great accommodations and excellent service!!!

Nestled in the heart of Massanutten Resort, is a superb chalet called "The Pistachio Nut"" Our chalet is located in a great location and is close to either the ski slopes or the water park. Its situated on a quiet street for privacy and relaxation.

Our stay at this property was absolutely wonderful! There was a lot of family-friendly entertainment for everyone to enjoy, which made our time here truly special. The cabin had a warm and cozy atmosphere that made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived.The amenities and activities available were perfect for keeping our family engaged and happy throughout our stay. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully provided. The hosts were communicative and helpful, making the entire experience seamless.I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this cabin to other families! If you have children in the age range of 4 and up, they will absolutely fall in love with this place. My daughter and I stayed at the Pistachio Nut for a week and had an amazing time! The house was very clean and exceeded our expectations! We will definitely stay here again. The host was very accommodating and quick to answer all of our questions.

Great Weekend Stay!

We had a wonderful long weekend at the Pistachio Nut. The owner Mike lives next door and is very helpful and can answer any questions you have about the house or surrounding Area. He was able to make some great diner suggestions to celebrate my MIL birthday. The arcade was a hit and has all the classics- my son was in heaven. The home has so many special touches and is very clean and you can tell they have put a lot of time and love into making sure you have everything you need. The kitchen is equipped with all you could need and even had bottle water, seasonings and coffee for us to use. The bathrooms were stocked with items you may have forgotten which was so nice! We felt so at home and can’t wait to return.
Deers came to say hello each morning
The grill was a great touch with a nice deck to dine on.
Arcade was amazing!

The stay was awesome. The online listing didn't completely justify how great this place was. The host communicated immediately from the booking through the checkin. Loved our stay at The Pistachio Nut

Had a great experience staying at The Pistachio Nut. Mike, the owner, was friendly and easy to communicate with. I had a couple questions before our trip, and they were answered very timely. The house itself was very nice. Clean, comfortable, had everything we needed. Loved the arcade room. We were there for a JMU graduation, and it was an easy distance to campus. Highly recommend!

Lovely home- very thoughtful owner and experience

We loved the Pistachio Nut! The game room was a blast for the whole family and the living room is set up for hanging out and relaxing. Mike is very kind and helpful and has really set up a lovely rental. Definitely a great place to stay while at Massanutten resort!

Wonderful property!

Loved our stay! Renovations to this property are great.lived the amazing game room. Fireplace was amazing. Owners stock this house with almost everything you need. Spices, baggies, coffee, hot chocolate and some bottled water in the fridge. Soap in both bathrooms. Towels and linens were top notch.check the linen closet across from downstairs bath for hair dryer. Bring your laundry win shampoo. Had an issue with downstairs shower but owner was on it immediately! Upstairs shower is like a European shower which isn’t great for short people who don’t want to get their hair wet but we would absolutely stay here again.

Great stay!

We had the best time at the pistachio nut. This was probably one of the cleanest properties we’ve ever stayed at. Beds were comfy, kitchen was fully stocked and the arcade was a blast. The property manager did meet us and gave us a tour before heading off. It was actually very nice and he was an extremely pleasant individual. We will definitely be back next year!

We had such a wonderful trip and stay at the Pistachio Nut. Michael was super helpful and welcomed us to show us around. This is better than any other rental you will find, hands down. Not just for the arcade room which will blow you away. We will definitely stay there again.

A true gem!

My best friend and I rented this adorable place and can’t stop talking about it! Mike the owner is a true pleasure to communicate with. He’s thought of all the little touches that make this place so special and we’re already talking about planning a return visit in 2025. It’s convenient to all things Massanutten and the game room is such a fun touch. The coolest thing about this place, beyond the renovations that blend modern amenities with original-build character, are the two deer that visit the yard multiple times a day to graze. This place is special.

Great Mountain House

Our family came to the area to visit Shenandoah National Park. This was a great place to stay toward the middle of the park that had beautiful drives in every direction. The house was very clean and our kids LOVED the game room!

Cozy Movie Weekend Stay!!

The place was amazing and accommodated everything we were looking for! We wanted a weekend getaway to binge watch movies and play games with each other. TV was great for movie watching, the arcade was awesome and my dad able to re-live his galaga days, rooms were nice and cozy, and the fire place was very easy to use! I think my only draw back is the pillows weren’t the best, they were pretty stiff and not very comfortable. Some of us opted to use the couch pillows Michael was very nice and accommodating, also is a great conversationalist. He’s made the home very easy and simple to use. If you had any issues to questions he’s a text away and also lives right next door Overall loved the property, enjoyed our stay, and are considering making this property a yearly getaway spot

Everything here matches the description and photos exactly, Michael is a great host. The house is fantastic.: very clean, the main room is very cozy and the beds are comfortable. Bath towels are super soft! Will definitely be staying here again in the future.
