If you are looking for close to EKU campus or downtown, this is your place. Our town home is located on a busy college street. You will have your own 2 car garage plus two additional parking spaces in the parking lot. We love our cozy 1980's three level home, hopefully you will too. Upstairs has 1 king bed and bath, a second bedroom has 2 full size beds w a hall bath. The finshed basement has a game room, an additional room with queen bed, full bath, and washer/dryer.

Home Away From Home

The place was in an excellent location. The home was beautiful and clean. Kitchen was fully stocked and I loved how the cabinets had a label that described what was in the cabinets to help locate items quickly. My grandkids enjoyed the game room. It really felt like we were home. We will be returning. Wonderful host!

Perfect vacation spot!

I could not have asked for a better place for our little family vacation! The home is so cozy and welcoming. Has everything you need to make your stay everything you want it to be. The courtyard in thr back is beautiful and perfect for relaxing after a long day. The rooms are beautifully decorated and every aspect makes this spot feel like home! The communication between the owners and us was almost instantaneous and answered all and any questions!

Perfect for us!

Some friends and I were in town for our high school reunion and it was so much better to stay together than in a hotel. This townhome is perfectly appointed and the hosts were so responsive! All the instructions were clear as could be and the place was very comfortable! If only it hadn’t been too blazing hot to use the cute courtyard, but late July that wasn’t in the cards.

We had a great stay in Richmond. The property was just as pictured….clean and well furnished and stocked. Owners have labeled things so you know just where to look. We would stay here again without hesitation.

Just as pictured

This place is excellent and better than expected. Everything is just as pictured. It is well stocked with snacks, coffee bar, and kitchen essentials. Bathrooms and laundry include all essentials needed also. We would stay here again and again if ever in Richmond, KY.

Downtown Delight

This townhouse with garage was amazing. It was clean and felt very homey. The beds were very comfortable and it had all the kitchen gadgets needed as well as a fully stocked coffee/ tea bar. It was nice to have a garage as the weather was not the best. The set up was perfect and just a great place to relax. Walking distance to downtown and EKU. Will stay again next time we are in town.

Great Place

One of the best VRBO places we have stayed at. So many little things were taken care of it is hard to list them all. Great coffee bar, coffee and snacks provided, great Christmas decorations, great towels, comfortable beds, Kleenex provided. Iron and ironing board and plenty of hangers in closets. Will stay there again if in Richmond

Great Place with a great owner

We really enjoyed our stay and Robin was very responsive to questions I had. The place was nicely decorated and homey plus it had a ton of amenities. The master bed was amazing. I have not slept that well in a long time and that is unusual for me when I am traveling. I would recommend this rental and appreciate Robin’s focus on serving her guestsb

Simply Amazing!

This property is a hidden gem! Centrally located in the heart of Richmond. Being from the area, I appreciated the subtle references to the region in the decorations. The house was immaculate! We had been traveling for 2 days and walked into a refreshing, organized and clean home. The attention to detail was above and beyond anything I’ve experienced. Make-up mirrors in the bedrooms, extra fans, sheets that smelled like heaven, fully stocked coffee bar… I could go on and on! There is not one thing I could think of that was missing! The host was so friendly! I couldn’t have asked for a better communicator! I will definitely book this property again. You will not be disappointed if you choose to stay at the Robin’s nest! This will always be my go to when staying in Richmond.

This VRBO owner pays attention to detail! I'd come back to Richmond, KY just to stay here. There were many small details that made me smile like the night lights, the two types of coffee dispensers (carafe and Keurig), plenty of towels, fans in each room, games, blankets, touch lamp in the Master Bedroom, and many more! I very much appreciated staying at the Robin's Nest. Communication was prompt and thorough. The neighborhood seems largely to be college-type rentals and this is the pearl in the oyster. ;)

The property was just as described and even better in person than in photos! The owner was very communicative and timely. I loved the considerate touches of having coffee pods and snacks readily available. Staying there was easy and enjoyable!

Our story
We met in Richmond at EKU coming from opposite ends of the state, we decided to make this our home town to raise our 2 children.
Our daughter has played soccer since she was 3. She received a scholarship her junior year to play at University of Southern Indiana. Her senior of higher school she had a career ending injury. She so did not want to go to her home town college, but we talked her in to coming home after her first semester. We ended up buying this 1980’s townhouse 5 years ago for her and 3 roommates. Now all of the girls have graduated and moved on. We were not quite ready to sell it yet, and really did not want to rent to college students. We’ve always wanted to try the short term rental business, so here we are. We have done a few updates but left some of the 80’s vibe. Floors upstairs have been replaced, carpet on stairs, new garage doors, fresh paint, some new lighting so far.
We love thrifting! Much of the decor has been found on our empty nest adventures.
We hope you enjoy our little piece of Richmond Ky.
