Exclusiva casa frente al mar ubicada en Mill Cove, un entorno pintoresco y activo con vistas panorámicas del océano sur con amaneceres y puestas de sol. SOL TODO EL DIA. Un paseo de 3 minutos lo lleva al corazón de Boothbay Harbor para ir de compras, comer, pasear en bote y divertirse. No hay que preocuparse por el estacionamiento.
Esta cala es de marea y tiene 6-8 pies de agua durante la marea alta y es un hábitat natural para las aves acuáticas, la lubina rayada y la caballa.

Better than a 5 Star Hotel

What a wonderful home. The host greeted us, showed us around & left us a homemade blueberry cake & bottle of wine. Communication with her was very easy. The whole home is spacious & comfortable - my husband said the kitchen was the best part of the trip...not the best part of the house, but of the whole vacation! It is a chef's kitchen, stocked with everything (really, everything!) you need. And the dock & sea kayaks were great. The location is terrific - on the harbor with a short walk into town. As an aside, one of our party fell at Ocean Point - we needed to go to the Urgent Care at St Andrew's & they were wonderful. I would absolutely recommend booking this home for your next trip to Boothbay!

Perfect location and house

This is a great property with great location for walking into town. The kayaks and fishing poles were great for the kids. They loved exploring cove and old sunken ships! This house made our family a lot of memories. Karen also is a great host meeting us at house and giving us a walkthrough and even a cake for my wife’s and mother in law birthday!

A wonderful stay at a super waterfront in Boothbay Harbor. The house features delightful suprises around every corner. The hostess Karen answered all our questions (what to see, do etc). We really enjoyed our week in Boothbay.

Amazing property and home

We loved everything about it - the home was so eclectic, warm and charming! The location was perfect for a walk to town or short drive to nearby attractions. The dock was perfect for fishing and even our furbaby loved the views from the house to the upper deck and docks! Karen and Alden have it mastered!

Maine living at its best!

The home, the views and the gardens are simply gorgeous. The house is bright, colorful and full of warmth, and it's incredibly well equipped too! It's a home not a house or a "rental." Alden and Karen, the owners, are generous, kind and helpful people, and we are so fortunate to have met them. Ask about cleaning services for multiple rental weeks - they were great and I always had fresh cut flowers left for me in vases. It was the perfect summer vacation and the perfect summer home. We hope to come back every year!

Fabulous

Karen and Alden are the quintessential Maine hosts. They are both very pleasant, very informative, and very proud of their lovely home in the cove. The accommodations were perfect for our group of 6 and there was plenty of room for more people. Everything was neat and clean inside. The gardens were beautiful outside and the walk into Booth Bay Harbor was easy and convenient. It was a very memorable stay for our family and will look forward to staying at Mill Cove again in the future!

An amazing home in beautiful Boothbay Harbor!

We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay in this amazing home. We were celebrating my mother's 91st birthday and my sister's 70th birthday. Karen and Alden even gave my sister a birthday card and beautiful flowers. The kitchen was incredible and all herbs and spices were provided. Karen baked us a delicious blueberry cake. We had crab meat rolls and lobster on the dock in the water - simply unforgettable. We can highly recommend this property and we we definitely return some day. Thank you Karen and Alden.

Fantastic Eclectic Home!

A chef kitchen, decks, fireplaces (inside and outside)… everything provided! …. Because this is their regular home when it is not rented out. I would love to live here…. It is that good!

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at Karen and Alden’s home. Everything was right on from Karen greeting us and the weather. Coming from Florida it was a joy with the weather. We enjoyed going to town and enjoying local food. Karen and Alden have quite the home. Beautiful and everything we needed. We were quite happy with our stay. Would do it again

Great spot!

We had a great time staying at your home. The location is fantastic given its right on the harbor with a dock along with being a short walk to town. When in the house you don't hear much traffic noise. Even on the deck and out on the dock you don't hear much either. The home's eclectic decor is very interesting and fun. There is plenty of room in the well-equipped kitchen that also has a great view that you can enjoy while preparing meals. Eating at the large table surrounded by glass or on the deck provides great views. Having the ability to use the 3 kayaks while there was nice and allowed us to explore the harbors. The owners were very responsive at check-in and came to greet us when we checked in. They even dropped off fixings for smores to use at the firepit! All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Wonderful stay

Although the weather was less than perfect with hurricane lee heading our way, there was plenty to do. It's a short walk to town and the property itself has everything you could.want or need. Our adult children enjoyed the kayaks and we all enjoyed the decks, chef's kitchen, and firepit. Karen and Alden are excellent hosts!

Great location and view!

We had a very nice time and the location was perfect. We were walking distance to the shops. It was just a few minute drive away from the Botanical Gardens and many great restaurants.

Great Maine Experience

My family and I loved everything about our stay in Mill Cove. The house was a relaxing escape in the heart of Mill Cove and Boothbay Harbor, that had all the feelings of our personal home away from home. Incredible

Our stay at Mill Cove could not have been better. This is an unbelievably beautiful and special property. Everything here is just fantastic - from the huge kitchen, to the luxurious rain shower, to the eclectically-decorated living spaces, to the views out every window facing the water, from sunrise to sunset. The convenience of being able to just walk downtown from the home was so wonderful. Everything was impeccably clean. Karen is a joy and could not have been a more gracious host. We were comfortable in every possible aspect here. I think this is the best vacation rental that I've ever stayed at and I cannot wait to return here soon.

Special Place, Great Stay

Exceeded expectations. The home was as-described, immaculately clean, and well-equipped. The location can't be beat - easy walking distance to the shops and restaurants, but still right on the water and private. The grounds and landscaping are beautiful, and kayaking from the dock couldn't be better. We hope to return!

Great outdoor space. Thought of everything! Cool Decor. Nice breeze was great on hot days. Fully equipped. Highly recommend. We are former bed and breakfast and vacation rental owners and have rented many places in this area over the years.

This house is ideally located to the heart of Boothbay Harbor. A short walk takes you to shops and dining. The generous hosts provided everything we needed and more. Just what we needed for a relaxing and fun week!

Great Mix of Quiet, Comfort and Location

We had a rough start to our holiday, but upon arriving we realized that the place had the perfect mix of what we want from a holiday return. Great spot with lots of garden space, right on the water, and lots of natural light. The kitchen definitely enhances the art of cooking away from home. Good layout. We could talk to each other when cooking as when we stay at a studio apartment. The location gives the person staying here enough distance from downtown to enjoy quiet and deck relaxing, but close enough to allow for a short walk to Boothbay Harbour. The hosts have a good taste for design; you will really like staying here.

Family vaca

Had a great time at Mill Cove. Our first vacation since 2019 with our Luna (Husky) that we got right before covid. My husband and I enjoyed having all 3 kids with their husbands and girlfriend along with our little grandson who just turned 1. What a great spot and close to town where we walked alot! Just hanging by the fire pit at night was perfect! The hosts couldn't have been nicer. Thank you for letting our family enjoy your home!

Deserves More Than 5-Stars

A family heirloom, this property has been in the host's family for more than 80 years. And as a builder, the upgrades and updates have made the home a perfect place for family & friends to experience Boothbay Harbor. This has been my family's home for 94 years. I have lived here all my life and enjoy living right on the ocean and close to downtown. I am an avid gardener and start all my plants from seedlings in my greenhouse and design different gardens each year. This property is perfect for families with pets and has lots of space to move around and explore.
