Family Weekend

We were in town for a family reunion so great place to relax after a day’s festivities. Loved having an elevator for my mother who can’t do stairs. Mom loved watching the ships go by.

Beautiful home, bad management

We booked this home for a family weekend/celebration. We never received info on how to access the property prior to arrival, so we texted once on the island. After a bit of a delay, we were informed the house was not ready for us yet, as they did not know we were coming. An offer was made to pay for our dinner while they cleaned it. We did not need to take them up on this, as we already had dinner plans, so we just accessed the property and put our stuff down before leaving for the ceremony. The house was a wreck, with beds unmade from the prior occupants, kitchen dirty, trash still in all bins. We returned five hours later to find the house seemingly very clean. However, when we went to bed, our bed sheets were notably dirty. There was hair, eye lashes, dirt, and body fluids on the sheets. I texted the property manager and advised her of the dirty sheets. We were told to change them using sheets in bunk room. All we could find were twins, so we stripped the bed and used them the first night. The next day, I requested housekeeping to come change the bed with properly fitting sheets. They never came, but that evening I found a bag with sheets in the driveway. Thanks?? After that, the manager ghosted me. I am still waiting on the offered refund of 15% off of our second night and a refund of the cleaning fee. I touched base a week later with no response again. I hope the owner reads this. You have a beautiful house and need better management.

Great place to stay in Galveston

We found this location when planning a family trip for my mother-in-laws 70th birthday. It is a great location. Home is clean and spacious. The elevator worked great for those in our party who could not use the stairs. The beach is super clean and was not crowded at all. It was prefect place to relax or enjoy morning walks/runs. Host is great a responding to questions and providing information. We would definitely book this property again if we come back to Galveston!

Beachtown/Galveston Trip

We had a great time on our recent trip to Galveston. This house is really beautiful, very clean, and very well kept! It’s in a great location on the east end of the island and the house has easy access to the beach. We also loved the screened in back porch in the mornings and evenings. It was very cool to be able to watch all the tankers and cruise ships enter the bay. Plus, the elevator was a very nice feature for this house, especially for my older parents who don’t handle stairs as well these days. There were a couple of small issues we had with the property description online. First, the description says that there were 2 queen sized beds in the smaller bedrooms, but they were definitely not queen sized. They seemed to be more like full size beds. Secondly, the description mentioned a communal pool that we could use, but we were told by the property manager, Lyndsey, that we were not allowed to use it because we weren’t home owners in that neighborhood. We still had a great time in spite of these issues, but we did pick this property because it listed queen sized beds and the ability to use a pool.

Just as described

I would say that the property is just as described. It could have been cleaner but had everything we needed. Love that they left extra dish soap, trash bags and paper towels. Those little things are appreciated. The mosquitoes were thick while we were there, we really enjoyed having the screened in patio and watching the ships going in and out was a fun bonus.

Great house and relaxing trip

Beautiful Weekend

The property was beautiful! It looks just like it dies in the pictures. It was immaculate, and had plenty of towels and linens. Check in was a breeze. Sandra was an excellent host. She responded to my messages very quickly. We had a great time and would stay here again.

Enjoyable Spring Break Get-Away!

Our family had a wonderful time at this home! It was beautifully decorated with great amenities & incredibly comfortable beds & pillows! Great kitchen for the family & lots of places to sit down and enjoy meals together. The house is just a quick walk to the beach which was extremely convenient & while at the house, we enjoyed the lovely screened porch with views of Galveston bay. Highly recommend!
