Welcome to the Helms Hideaway where southern charm meets the beautiful SW Florida sunshine. We have everything you need no matter what you enjoy while on your escape to the Cape Coral/Ft. Myers area. LONG TERM STAYS AVAILABLE. Ft. Myers & Sanibel Island beaches are a short drive away w/ some of the most beautiful sunsets in all the US. Shopping & dining all around or take a short drive to Ft. Myers or Naples. Come relax in paradise!
Our home is central to all the area has to offer including amazing restaurants for all you foodies. Enjoy cooking? Our kitchen is equipped with everything you need and more. Need to work from home? Use our high speed internet and enjoy the canal views. We have 2 beach cruiser bicycles for you to use during your stay, plus beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels & a lot more for beach fun. Outdoor table, chairs & BBQ grill for you to enjoy your evenings outside. You just need to show up and we’ve taken care of the rest in our 4BR, 2BA home with a large patio that overlooks the canal. If you have small children, we have a high chair, playpen, safety doorknobs you can easily use/install during your stay.

This is our first short-term rental home and we believed SWFL was the perfect spot to open up our home for you to enjoy. When we travel with our family, we want all the necessary amenities and touches of our home away from home. With that in mind, the Helms Hideaway is furnished with all you need for your stay. You just need to show up and start enjoying the gorgeous sunrise and sunset canal views.

The NW part of Cape Coral is where all the retail, restaurant and new home construction growth is headed. We wanted to be close to those attractions but also off the beaten path a bit for the peace and tranquillity our home offers. In short, we wanted to best of both worlds for our guests.
