The host Alan was amazing. Communicated very well with directions and access. If you go there note there are stairs ( about 10-12) to access the building then you get to the elevator. Fortunately there was a gentleman at the desk that helped get our luggage up the those stairs. This is located on the 12th floor and still if you are noise sensitive this may not be a good location for you because you will hear traffic, beeping, and honking 24/7. The AC in the front needs help and a new controller. Couldn’t figure out how to make that work but the little AC in the bedroom was noisy but it helped to drown out the street noise. Located a couple blocks from Copacabana beach there are tons of nice restaurants and little shops. There will be homeless on the streets but there were only a couple of street beggers. We didn’t go out much after dark unless we jumped into an Uber, which was quick and easy. When we left I donated our food and drink to several of them. In January it is either super hot or raining. If you are planning to use the pull out sofa I don’t think an adult would find it comfortable but might work for a kiddo. Internet worked well and there is a smart TV to sign into for your programming. I missed an actual dining table so we could play cards but overall this was a good place to stay.
