So beautiful both inside & outside! Perfect location- just a short walk to Lake Superior & Eagle River. Accommodations were even better than expected with an excellent sunroom for watching sunsets. Would definitely recommend & stay again!

This property is exceptional. Spacious, gorgeous inside and out. Tremendous view, eagles providing entertainment as if trained. Incredible sunsets over the lake, beautiful sunrises over the hill. Beach to the front, river to the side and waterfall out the back take your pick. While the Keweenaw never disappoints this property takes the experience to the next level.

Lighthouse was lovely! We loved sitting in the sunroom and taking walks along the water! The kitchen was well stocked and we really appreciated the welcome basket. So many wonderful hikes and places to see close by.

This is the best VRBO I have stayed at! Me and a group of 6 did a new years snowboarding trip out there and it could not have been more smooth. A huge reason for that was Jan (our host) they gave tons of recommendations for the area, and always answered our questions no matter how small within a few hours. It was also spotless, had a fully stocked kitchen, a great amount of space, and one heck of a view ! We will most certainly be returning for another snowboarding trip or even in the summer to take on some hiking!

Clean and well equipped. The lighthouse is fabulous, and the views of Lake Superior and the Eagle River are stunning. The Keweenaw has always been our favorite place, and staying here made it even more special. Jan is a terrific host, a wealth of information, and most responsive to our needs. We highly recommend.

This is a beautiful property! It’s well stocked with all the necessities and more. We enjoyed the deck and the beach the night we arrived and then the rain came unfortunately so we hung out indoors quite a bit. We loved our time there!!

The Eagle River lighthouse is in a class by itself regarding elegance, comfort, and a sense of history. Every amenity has been thoughtfully provided. If you're wondering whether it's really worth the money, I will simply say that I think the price I paid was an excellent value for the destination.

Keweenaw fun with friends

What a phenomenal place to stay! The lighthouse has been totally updated with a very cool design vibe and comfortable porches all around with views and plenty of fresh air. The proximity to great food and drink (Fitzgerald’s—highly recommended); things to do and see in the beautiful UP; golf; antiquing; beach walking; Jampot; card games; books in the rental—we loved it and will return, hoping next summer!

The stay was amazing. Cannot say enough about the host Jan. She let us know when the northern lights might be visible on the first night and you can see the result. The kitchen was a dream for a rental, and it was probably the most full stocked rental. Agree with others the sunroom/library is probably the most used room. Everything was absolutely AMAZING!

Stunning experience

The lighthouse surpassed all expectations - gorgeous property, excellent location, attentive host. The layout afforded so many views, lounge areas and space to stretch out. The decks and adirondacks were perfect for enjoying the lake view and the blanket of stars at night. Highest recommendations....thank you for allowing us to make excellent memories!
