We are in the Stonegate Community which is located behind the Townsend Visitor Center so basically in the heart of our quaint small town of Townsend! We are minutes from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the Little River, Townsend Visitor Center, Heritage Center, and the walking /bicycle trails that run throughout the town.

Step into a peaceful wooded setting to experience A~Bear's Den. We are snuggled in a nice private lot with yard and parking space. We offer a covered parking area and have a turnaround space - all paved! You can experience our fabulous mountains with nice, paved roads!

Once you step onto our wrap around deck, you will immediately notice our gates that keep your babies and fur baby safe and secure. Our oversized hot tub provides the much-needed relaxation from your journey to the East TN Mountains or to soak away those sore muscles from hiking in the park. Whatever the need - I promise you will enjoy it! Our covered deck offers several places to sit back and relax or catch up with family/friends. The uncovered part of the deck offers a gas grill and open space to allow the babies to play or the fur baby to lay in the sun.

Once inside the cabin, you will enter our open concept living/kitchen/dining floor plan that offers enough space to have meals, watch movies, play games, cook meals, whatever your heart's desire! If you need some adult time, send the kids upstairs to the loft to play foosball!

Our master bedroom is on the main floor with a super comfortable king size bed, smart Tv and access to the deck. Our recently renovated master bath has a walk-in shower.

The upstairs loft offers a day bed with trundle, foosball table, bar top table and chairs and a full-size washer and dryer. We have board games and cards available for your use during your stay at the cabin.

The upstairs private bedroom is spacious room with a King size bed and Smart TV. The recently renovated private bathroom has a tub/shower combo.
