Great place

The place was amazing and fun to stay in. Having it be in the heart of the small town was fun to be able to walk to the different coffee shops and restaurants. Loved the community garden to pick fresh produce!

Good place to stay and very wheelchair friendly. Beds would be too low if you use a hoyer lift. Great location for going to the beach.

We loved this space! It was unique, very spacious, had all of the amenities we could want, located in walking distance from the downtown shops and restaurants, and the host was wonderful to work with. We would absolutely stay again and will recommend the space to our friends. The area is so cute and there’s so much to do! Everyone was incredibly kind. A great weekend getaway.

Amazing. One of my favorite rentals to date. So open and nice spread out spaces and bathrooms for everyone. Great location one block off of main street. Could walk to everything. Great communication with Beth. Will definitely rebook when we're back in town!

The house was so much fun to stay in. We enjoyed the open concept kitchen, dining and living room and spent time cooking and playing games and enjoying the space. The location was great and we walked to town several times. The owner was great to work with, with proactive communication and fast response times for the couple questions we had.

Beautiful home in a wonderful location

We had a wonderful stay! The home was perfect for our family and made it easy for friends and relatives in the area to stop by and visit. It was simple to find, spacious yet private, and beautifully decorated with a smart, comfortable layout. We really enjoyed the outdoor space and had a lot of fun playing yard games. Would definitely stay again!

This property looked just like photos. We were only there 2 nts so didn't use all the amenities. The kitchen had everthing we needed and more. Information we received about check in and out from Beth was very helpful. Property was within walking distance of main street and restaurants. Definitely recommend it!!!

It was an incredible stay the place was unique extremely comfortable and clean. There wasn't anything you needed everything was provided the property manager path was extremely responsive and very helpful with suggestios.The beds were extremely comfortable we had six people staying and plenty of room. The town itself was charming and the people were extremely friendly.I would definitely recommend anybody that needs to stay in the area stay here..

Birthday/retirement celebration

Our stay was wonderful. The bank was very clean and comfortable, and well equipped with everything we needed. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of dishes, silverware, and glasses along with all of the typical appliances. The wine fridge, coffee area, and washer & dryer were a great bonus as well. The bathrooms are great, and the beds were all very comfortable. We loved the decorative touches and appreciated the record player and great selection of LP’s. The seating area in the old drive thru is perfect and lots of fun. The location is perfect - walking distance to everything in Three Oaks but off of the main road so it’s not noisy. We were a little concerned with its proximity to the train tracks, but found that the passing trains didn’t disturb us at all. Beth is a wonderful host and did a great job of making sure that we had everything we needed. We will definitely be coming back!

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

When we first looked at the property, we fell in love with the building’s cool MCM vibes including all the brick. We knew a little bit about the history of the building like the year it was built (1977) and its original owner (First Federal Savings and Loan Association of Niles). Beyond that, we have enjoyed hearing from people in the community about their connection to the property like how they had their first checking account at the bank or how they used to pay their electric bill there.

As we approached the renovation of the building, our goal was to preserve as much of the original layout of the building as possible. We transformed the lobby into the main living space with an open concept. Next, we replaced the drive-through window with doors. We then fenced the outdoor area and created a private, living area covered by the original drive-through overhang. Inside, we converted the 2 front offices and break room into bedrooms. We also added 2 full bathrooms (one ensuite to the back bedroom) and converted the cleaning closet into a ½ bath and laundry area.
