This unit is located in an original brownstone with a candlelight statue at the entrance. Enjoy an original Harlem brownstone experience at this centrally-located place. Located steps from all restaurants, shops, and transportation. This is a must experience on your bucket

Upon entering the building you'll see the original details of an 1900's brownstone with the hi ceilings, gold statue and pocket doors. The Studio is located directly to the rear at apartment #2. The number is affixed to the door.
Guest access
The entire apartment is private giving you sole access to the unit.
Other things to note:
The apartment has a heating/air-condition unit with the unit which works with wifi, or the remote control on the wall next to the Double size bed. Additional pillows are inside the closet on the shelf. Additional sheets and blankets are located at the bottom dresser draws if needed.

The location was great and communication before the trip was great. However, once we got there and reached out because we were freezing each night and asked if there were more blankets available, we received no response. We had to turn the heating unit there up to the max, 86 degrees, every night and wore our socks and day clothes over our pjs. I don't think the heating unit is in proper working order and the radiator foe the building seems to only be on in the daytime. The floors were like ice at night.

Rental is in a great location for subway access. Laguardia M60 bus is 2 blocks away (2.90 per person). There wasn't a lot tourist attractions, for me in area. But, I able to take the subway downtown (Wall Street and up to the Bronx 235th street).The price was reasonable. I would definitely recommend it and I would stay there again.

Apartment was as shown in photos. Walking distance to train stations, food and shopping. My friend and I felt safer with the automatic locking door at the entrance.

Good location. Nice little unit that was perfect for what I needed. Minor issue last night of my stay with someone banging on the outside door and ringing buzzer. But I didn’t open up and they left. The neighbors on the block were sweet and friendly. My only feedback is that with some modest renovation, it would feel cleaner. I love the charm of the old building. The bathroom felt a little grimy - replacing flooring and toilet with newer fixtures would help. Behind the toilet was kind of…icky…but shower was clean. Hot water for days. Wood floors were clean. Bedding was clean and comfy and furniture was dust free. Over all, it was a great stay!

We had a great stay in this apartment in Harlem. location was great—walking distance to both the Blue and Red Subway lines. We thought the lock on the door to the unit seemed a bit loose and the bathroom was a little bit dirty but the place was fine for our purposes. the kitchen sink faucet was also loose and it wasn’t able to regulate the temperature of the water. Host was quick to respond when needed and check in / out was a breeze.

Thank you very much! Everything was great. We love Harlem and will be back as always! This is a great area if you want to stay outside the city and catch a baseball game in Bronx and enjoy soul food. If you want to catch a ride into the city, Curb is a great and easy app to use (not a ad.). It is expensive the farther you go obviously! Over all great stay very easy instructions!

The apartment was exactly as portrayed. Very neat and clean. The manager was very responsive to requests and dealt with them immediately. However, it is NOT in the area advertised. It is a significant walk away and that was very disappointing.

Lovely spacious apartment in quiet neighbourhood in Harlem

I really enjoyed my few days here. The apartment is very well equipped with good shower and comfortable bed. It was very quiet and has lots of stores nearby. The nearby subway station is also great and gives excellent access to the rest of New York City. The host was helpful and communicative. If like me you are flying into JFK you can save yourself money by catching the Airtrain to Howard Beach and then the A subway train all the way to the nearest subway - it’s a 10 minute walk from there to the apartment and it’s all level. There are steps up to the front door of the building.

Property is in a good location and was beautiful and clean! At a great price too :) Towels, silverware, plates, and a full kitchen provided was such a plus! And the host communicated very promptly.

This was overall a decent stay, first impressions were we very obviously looking like tourists in this part of town- but everyone was pretty friendly and didn’t make us feel unwelcome. As for first impressions of the studio itself, it was cute as we walked in, but we had a very hard time regulating the temperature here. There was a small space heater and a heater above the bed that despite our efforts didn’t work. Additionally, the bathroom had half a roll of toilet paper left, a quarter of a bottle of soap left, and no body wash in the container in the shower. I was hoping since we paid such high fees for cleaning / maintenance that this place would’ve had back ups but it’s not a huge deal. TV had streaming which was a plus! And the decor wasn’t bad. But unfortunately no comforter on the bed and 3 pillows that I would consider not more comfortable than sleeping on a towel folded over itself. PLEASE, do upgrade the bedding because that was the biggest deterrent of this place. All in all, this was not a bad stay at all for 4 nights, however, there are improvements to be made, and they are not costly such as replacing the soaps, tp, and pillows perhaps.
