Lake House Cabin in the White Mountains. Perfect cabin getaway at Rainbow Lake!

Our cozy cabin is just a 3 hour drive from the Phoenix valley. Come here to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. This getaway is ideal anytime of year. Sit on the front porch swing and nature watch gaggles of geese on Rainbow Lake. During the winter enjoy the local snow or take a short 45 min drive to Sunrise Ski Resort. During the summer months, when average temps are lovely in the low 80's, take out our paddle boards and paddle boat on the lake in the morning, read a book on the covered porch during the afternoon, summer-monsoon rainstorm. Then go out and explored Mogollon Rim Trail; just a 5 min drive from your home base. You'll want to see the sun set, while gazing from the Rim, over the vista of the world's largest stand of Ponderosa Trees. Finish your day around the fire pit, under the stars. Enjoy life in the country and come for the summer Rodeos in Taylor and Round Valley. If you would rather stay tucked away in your own world the cabin is primed for making memories with the ones you love most. Have a BBQ or take nap in the hammock. Take a break from busy; live the Good Life.

Relaxing cozy comfort cabin

We enjoyed our 5 days at this property on the lake, beautiful view, cozy environment in this beautiful cabin. Clean, great attention to detail so you have every comfort available to you. Close to shopping, dining and exploring, I would definitely reserve this property in the future.

Pinetop-Lakeside log cabin

Nice cabin, good location, enjoyed everything but the weather got windy and cold and we didn’t get a chance to fish.

Relaxing beautiful cabin by the lake

The cabin was clean and well kept. We enjoyed using the paddle boat and paddle boards. The lake was located right behind us. We lived all of the trees in the yard and fire pit for s'mores at night.

Escaped the Tucson heat and didn’t want to leave.

My family had a great stay at the Lake House! The cabin is really comfortable and inviting. Lots of thoughtful touches with great amenities and a central location in town. The neighbor others have mentioned was absolutely no bother, and the host was responsive to the few questions we had. We were pleasantly surprised that the cabin does have A/C! But honestly we were outside most the time enjoying the lake, the deck, and the fire pit. Thanks for the memories and we hope to return again!!

We loved how close it was to the lake!

We loved the house and porch, everything was clean and comfortable. The paddle boards were a hit with all of us, we went out on the lake everyday. There are several light bulbs both burned out or not there, which made reading a challenge and We had to fill the propane tank for our steak night. A dishwasher would be a wonderful addition, there is room for one but they but a beverage fridge in instead. We will definitely be back. Thank you Aly!

Cozy homey feeling.

I/we will definitely be back. So many friends have asked about the place from my Facebook postings. By far my favorite location/rental in Az. Yes, the next door neighbors place is quite the Sanford and son place but you never see it unless you are driving by. You can’t see anything from this property. We never even thought about it, fencing hides it. All other places are beautiful. Can’t wait to return. Providing owners are happy with us as visitors.

Cabin by Lake

We enjoyed our stay at the lake cabin. The large fenced property was great for our dogs to play and roam without worry. The 3 bed/2 bath cabin had plenty of room for all. Addition of a/c would improve the rating. Without it, it got uncomfortably hot after noon with outside temps in high 80’s. The State boat launch area between cabin and lake was very busy but did provide entertainment and easy access to the water. Ducks, geese, herons, eagles and a variety of songbirds aplenty. There is a boat rental 2 doors down to rent a variety of choices. I was disappointed that the paddle boat was stored and not available for use. The immediate neighborhood was questionable, but everyone seemed friendly. Attention to cleaning detail would enhance the experience. The windows haven’t been cleaned for some time. The treats left and bottled water was very much appreciated. Thanks for sharing your cabin with us

We know how great it is to have a place for family to get out of the heat and make memories together. Our cabins are a place for cousins to come and play the day away while parents get to relax and visit with family and loved ones. We hope you will make your stay with us a tradition; something that you and the kids look forward to year after year!

Our cabins have a front row view of nature and lake life, but still have a fence to keep little ones safe from venturing in the water on their own. Once you do get the sunscreen and life vest on our private gate gives you walking access to the water's edge.
