Amazing Location!

This classic summer cottage is located steps from Surf Drive beach. You just can't beat the location. It's a wonderful little neighborhood, excellent for walking our dogs and everything you could possibly need (restaurants, shops, grocery) are within 10 minute drive. The cottage kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots and pans if you like to cook in (we mostly went out) and the check in process was easy. The space did feel a little small for our 4 adult, 1 teen, 2 dog group but we made it work since we were out and about mostly. With smaller children, it would have been perfect. Bringing sheets and towels was easy enough for us since we arrived in two cars, but might be challenging for air travelers. Walmart is a quick drive, however. Many thanks to Mark and Sabrina for the great stay.

Wonderful Beach Cottage

My family and I LOVE this beach cottage. It's a throwback to the beach cottages of my youth - simple and cozy. The neighborhood is quiet, it's an easy walk to Surf Drive Beach and short drives to Falmouth Village, Woods Hole and Falmouth Harbor. I already look forward to next summer!

Yearly family vacation

The location was great, walking distance to the beach! The house was just as described on the site. Plenty of beds for our family. I do agree with another review that an outside shower would have been great to have. Also a washer and dryer, we have always had one wherever we have stayed and really missed it. Overall, a great week! Will definitely be back!

Beach!

Great location just a few minutes to the beach. Lovely, quiet neighborhood. House was as described. An outdoor shower would be perfect to keep the sand outside. Would stay there again.

Another great summer in Falmouth

This is my family's favorite vacation spot. Every few years we try to go somewhere new and are almost always disappointed. My son doesn't consider a trip to anywhere other than Mark & Sabrina's as a legitimate vacation at this point! I'm already looking forward to 2024.

Great spot

Older but clean cape cod cottage. Great location walk to the beach or downtown with ease. Excellent owners and management. Bring your own linens and towels as they are not provided. Will be back.

A cute and PET-friendly house, Great location for a quiet beach and lively down town

We had a very relaxing week with our dog, and weather was great too. The location is just perfect! The house is in the middle of beautiful neighborhood, just two blocks walking distance to the Surf Drive Beach and 20 minutes walk/ 3 minutes by car for hopping and dining at downtown Falmouth(though finding a parking space was tough), and 3 minutes by car to catch ferry rides to Martha’s Vineyard. Also there is a nice bike path to Woods Hole near by. The house is air conditioned so we could leave our dog in a crate for a few hours when we were at the beach or going out for dinner. We took walks to the beach with our dog early in the morning and evening every day. We really enjoyed the beach life! We definitely come back again, hopefully next year! Yes, I agree with other reviewers, it would be great to have an outdoor shower and a washer & dryer.

Another great summer in Falmouth

My family and I love visiting this wonderful cottage in Falmouth. It's a short walk to a fun little beach that looks out at Martha's Vineyard and a short drive (or a 15 minute walk) to Main Street in Falmouth Village, which has lots of nice shops and restaurants. Also, if you have little kids, check out the playground at Mullen Hall school, which, if you are on Main Street, is across the common area and behind the public library. It's the best playground I've ever seen, lots of fun and challenging obstacles. My son loves it.

Can't beat the location

Just wrapped up a great week on the cape just across the street from Surf Drive beach. The property was perfect for our family of 4 and could easily accommodate 6. The property is on a quiet street that is 1 mile from the Shining Sea bike path, a short drive from downtown Falmouth and just across the street from the beach. In other words you CAN NOT beat the location. The home is great, as many others noted the only way to improve the property is to add a washer and dryer. One pro-tip: you can secure a non-resident parking pass for all Falmouth beaches at the Ellen T. Mitchell Bathhouse on surf drive about .25 miles from the house. Bring your car regsitration and VRBO rental agreement. For a modest fee you'll have easy access to any Falmouth beach. Loved our stay, hope you will too.

Great cottage

My family and I stay at this cottage every year, we really love it. It's a short walk to the beach and a short drive to the shops on Main Street. The yard is great for kids to run and play in. And I liked the re-decoration that the owners did. Can't wait to go again!

Perfect location

We had a wonderful time in Falmouth. The house is in the perfect location. We walked to the beach (my three year made it without complaints, so you know it’s close!) and rode bikes along the trail close by or throughout the neighborhood. Really enjoyed ourselves and hope to make it an annual trip!

Falmouth beach vacation

Location was amazing, just a one minute walk to the beach. The house was great but one thing it could do with is an outdoor shower, after coming back from the beach every day instead of dragging in all the sand through the house it would have been nice to keep it outside. Besides that everything was really good!

love this cottage

My family and I have stayed here 3 summers in a row and love it every time. It's walking distance to both the beach and Main Street in Falmouth. If you have small children, the nearest beach (Surf Drive) has a swimming area just for kids that's encloses by an old stone dock so the water is calmer and shallower than typical. Already looking forward to next summer!

delightful, relaxed, wonderful neighborhood

excellent, the only thing I did notice was whoever does the lawn had cut it when it was too long and didn't rake it, there were clots of cut lawn covering the back yard. that is just an FYI. The property is comfortable clean and very well equipped.
