With 3 cozy bedrooms, including 2 queen beds and 1 full bed. Our gorgeous property offers a comfortable and inviting space to relax and unwind. Enjoy the convenience of amenities like a washing machine, dryer, AC, heating, and WiFi. Outside you will find a BBQ grill, patio table, outdoor games, firepit and lawn chairs. Our stay here was wonderful, it felt like a home away from home. You can tell the love and effort that has been put into this property, I look forward to visiting again and seeing what additional things are done. The house was beautiful and the views were amazing to me! We loved the fire pit and watching the deer and the eagle that are in the area. Our stay was perfect and we had everything we needed in the house.

River Paradise

This property was everything we needed and more. Conveniently located on the river and close to town if we needed anything. We went for a short weekend getaway and had an absolute blast. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely stay at Eagle's Nest Cabin. There were so many amenities from the cozy beds, recliners in the living room, a well stocked kitchen inside and great views with chairs around the fire pit and table and chairs on the patio. The walk to the river access and to the fire pit takes some strong legs, but worth every breath. The river was shallow enough to walk across and loved sitting in a lawn chair with our feet in the water. It was the perfect place to celebrate our 25th anniversary and close enough to Steelville to make a quick run to the grocery story and close to local floating options.

A great relaxing getaway

Our group of 4 college buddies needed a place to meet up, relax, visit and catch up. What a wonderful place to do so. The cabin was just what we needed with plenty of space inside and out. Everything was clean and very well stocked. Unfortunately the river was at flood stage and we had to stay out, it did not ruin the view and tranquility. Thank you for offering up your place and we definitely look forward to coming back again.

Wonderful Location

My husband and I came for a quiet week away, and had a wonderful relaxing time! I could look out at the river all day from the living room windows. The host was very accommodating and helpful with our questions. Highly recommend, and I will be back!

So clean and cozy! The house is immaculate, and adorable. And the yard and river access were perfect for day lounging in the water and hanging out in the evening. Loved my visit and am already planning on staying again as soon as I can!

Absolutely lovely property and host

This house is an absolutely lovely location on the river, quiet and peaceful, but just a short drive into town when needed. The house itself is wonderfully maintained and equipped, and the host extremely responsive to all communications. We all thoroughly enjoyed our time here, playing in the river, enjoying a campfire at the view in the evening, and all the attention to detail in the house and surroundings. We look forward to coming back again!

Family reunion

My three siblings and I who all live out of state all met here to visit our mom who lives nearby. It was a cozy space to visit on a beautiful river. We sat by the campfire and talked. We ate at restaurant in nearby towns and took in a show at the Meramec Music Thestre.

Lovely Home

Exactly what I was looking for! Love to relax by the river and in a beautiful house to boot! So many nice little touches made our stay more comfortable! We got our float in even with some rain. We didn't want to fome home!

Hidden Gem on the River

Cozy Cabin

Susan was very communicative and set up a binder full of instructions and recommendations. The place was nice and cozy, the one issue we ran into was the fire alarm was extra sensitive. When we used the oven, and opened it up to check or grab the food out the alarm would go off.

It is a lovely property on the river. Very peaceful and relaxing, near canoe rentals and local businesses and dining. The house is very comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. Susan, the owner, responded very promptly to all my questions.
