Ideally located in a corner of paradise, this recently renovated beach house is quietly located in Playa Guasacate, 5/10 minutes walk from the best surf spots of the areas. Restaurants and bars nearby
It can accommodate up to 10 people, it is an excellent place to come and relax ..... There is a large beautiful garden and the sunsets are incredible.
Secure place (external cam and housekeeper) and deck Terrasse facing the sea to practice Yoga.
All rooms have fans, 3 of the 4 rooms have Air conditioning (on prior request)
The kitchen is fully equipped and an outdoor barbecue is at your disposal to cook your fresh fish of the day and your lobsters.

Awesome Property

Property is on a great location, well maintained, very spacious, neighborhood is great along with the neighbors. Our host Jerome were great we talked over the phone, great person! Thank Jerome for your hospitality! I do recommend him and his property!

Not just good, but good enough!

I didn’t end up going due to family stuff, but my friends that went said it was fine, good waves, intermittent wifi and electricity, and apparently there was an unfortunate miscommunication about some chocolates left in the fridge, but other than that all was well and fine.

Yes electricity can be intermittent in all the area of the country , it s not proper to the house , this is what you can expect when you travel to central America. And yes I didn t understand the chocolate they let inside the fridge had cannabis inside.

Not a comfortable place

Tiny poorly appointed kitchen, no screens on windows( they were necessary!), beds double and uncomfortable, not one single comfortable chair! Nice location though.

Fantastic beach front home with great surfing and activities nearby

We loved this place! Playa Guasacate is remote, beautiful, and Jerome's home is right on the beach with great places to get food and drink a 3 -10 minute walk away. It's also a fantastic place to surf. Playa Popoyo is a 10 minute walk down the beach for skilled surfers and a 5 or so minute walk further has a little more tame surfing right beside Magnificent Rock. Jerome was fantastic too! He hooked us up with some great surf instructors, a masseuse, and told us to head to the Magnificent Rock hotel for yoga each day. It was awesome! Yoga was totally zen overlooking Magnificent Rock! Couldn't have been better! Great trip and great place to stay :) Corrina

Nice Beach House for a Great Price

David the greeter was very attentive as was Jerome the owner. The house has a beautiful garden and a nice breeze from the ocean. Views from the balcony upstairs are beautiful and it is a peaceful place to sit at night. The kitchen is a little bit tight but it has all of the dishes and utensils you need for cooking. Bring your own salt, pepper and cooking oil. The rooms have A/C for a fee. Please note that this home really doesn't have a living room. The living are and dining area are set up outside. It would have been nice to have a larger hammock and/or a second hammock to lay down in. The location on the beach is great. We walked to Nica Vibes one night and it took 7 or 8 minutes. Also, you can walk like maybe 15 minutes south on the beach to a great spot where the beach connects with a river. Overall this home is a great value for a beachfront property.

American family of 5 in Popoyo

There were many wonderful pieces of Jerome’s place one of which was Jerome himself - he greeted us warmly, gave us a tour of the home, introduced us to an awesome local surf lesson guide and in general was very kind and welcoming. The location with the ocean in the backyard was stunning especially for a family from Montana in the US. A couple of heads up if you are traveling to this beautiful place with young kids - this part of the beach does have very strong waves and we found it best to walk down toward the tide pools (10 to 15 min walk up the beach) for swimming safety. The other spot great for kids is beginners bay but it does require a 15 min drive to get there unless you walk down the beach and cross a small river more than a mile - probably fine with older kids but hard to do with younger ones especially if you are headed that way for surf lessons. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need but make sure to purchase and bring everything including salt and papertowels. Jerome suggested we purchase what we needed in Granada where we were staying first which was very helpful because there’s not a large grocery store out there. Do not assume the electricity will stay on in this small town so bring battery operated lights for your Littles. One night we had rain so the electricity was off until the next morning. Overall it was an incredible four nights that I believe our kids will never forget in the best of ways.

Séjour parfait

La maison est géniale avec un emplacement parfait sur la plage prêt de tout ce qu’on a besoin. La maison ne manque de rien ,les lit sont confortable et propre.la cuisine est complète.Vous adorerez le jardin avec les terrsasse pour profiter des levers et couchers de soleil.L’accueil de l’hôte Jérôme était super. Il nous a aidé avec nos activités en plus de nous pointer les meilleurs endroits pour faires les achats locaux ainsi que ceux à faire avant d'arriver a la maison.il répond vite lorsqu'il y a un problème ou pour nos simple questions aussi.l'endroit est selon moi le meilleur à Popoyo.

It is in a perfect location.

Overall it was great! Tho house has a very open layout. Meaning, you really want to lock the kitchen, and pantry, because we did have the dogs wake up a few times, indicating that someone was trying to get after something. Place is 10 min walk to Papoyo Reef, and 5 Minutes to The beachbreak. Prime location, but I brought my wife and my 2 year old son, and would have probably been better off paying double at Rancho Santana. Overall very happy and would definately recomend this cool little house to my friends!

Beautiful Open Home

I stayed at Jerome's place with my boyfriend and my dad for a week. The place has great architectural style and comes with everything you need. I've stayed in many places in this area and nothing has compared so far. There are tons of places to sit inside and outside, the beds are amazingly comfortable, the stereo is in the perfect place, where you can hear it loud both outside and in. The home is within walking distance to the tide pools, the markets, and the the surf. Jerome and his house keepers were really nice and helpful.

Wonderful house right on the ocean

We rented this house from February 5 to the 17th 2016 we had a wonderful time the house is beautiful lots of room the kitchen had everything you needed. There was air conditioning in the bedroom which was perfect the only downside was it needs new pillows for the beds and it would've been nice to have lounge chairs other than that we would go back again. The housekeeper Walter was wonderful anything you needed he was there to help. Gary & Barb

Beautiful place with unbeatable location

Great place to stay with the family. Plenty of room. Caretaker couple/family on the same property keep everything working and clean. We would stay here again.
