Luxury Rural Escape

This luxury apartment is ideal for families or couples. It is in a quiet country location, but only 5km from the closest large town, Ennis, and you will need a car to get there. It is in close proximity to the Inn at Dromoland, and Dromoland castle for those who love golf. There are horse riding facilities close by also. The area has very little traffic so it is ideal for peaceful country walking.
This newly renovated property boasts two luxury bedrooms, both with private bathrooms. There is a living room with comfortable seating and TV. The property has a fully fitted kitchen, microwave, tea/coffee making facilities and all condiments are provided.
The property is surrounded by green fields in the peace and quiet of Doora townland. Enjoy all that nature has to offer, while being less than 2km from the nearest motorway.
The location is only 15 km form Shannon Airport, 15km from Bunratty Castle and Folk park, 5 km from Dromoland golf and leisure club, 38km from Cliffs of Moher. Doolin pier, Doolin caves, Aran Islands and Wild Atlantic Way are easily accessible form this central location.
Enjoy the quiet of the country side while being close to everything that Co. Clare has to offer tourists.

We couldn’t have been more pleased with our accommodations. Lynda made everything so comfortable, and added on the special touches of fresh baked bread and fresh baked scones. We got to stay on the beautiful property where we saw cows, and the access to the sites that we wanted to see was so easily drivable. Having a secure gate code was another nice touch and with her living nearby we did not lack for any kind of communication. Our stay at her place was truly the best we had in our two weeks in Ireland!!!

Cute and cozy property that met all our needs. The host had stocked the fridge with a few essentials to make our stay even better. The property is in a nice quiet area only 10 minutes away from the town of Ennis, which has great pubs and a cool city center.

Lovely in every way!

We returned to Ireland after many years and were so happy to have chosen this spot as our stay in Ennis. Lynda was the best host, providing us with the cleanest and most updated accommodations. And tasty homemade bread!! It was roomy and peaceful. We felt safe and comfortable. The location is very centrally located to many spots: Galway, Doolin, Aran Islands, Bunratty and Shannon Airport.Definitely recommend and will be visiting again!

Luxury Rural Resort, Ennis Ireland

This property was EXCELLENT, and the Host, Lynda, was Wonderful !!! The property is as shown, very clean, comfortable, and both bathrooms and kitchen were well equipped and in perfect working conditions. The property is located right outside of Ennis, with easy drives to Limerick, Cliffs of Moher, Galway, and many other towns and attractions. Again, the Host was delightful, and Overall rating is 10 out of 10!!!

A Wee Cosy Nook

A great property for a group of friends, but not particularly ideal for a young family due to layout, location and lack of outdoor space. The property is beautifully decorated and the vatheooms are to an exceptionally high standard. The host communicates promptly.

Great place near Ennis

The cottage was great. Clean, 2 bedroom, 2 bath, close to town, but in the quiet country. Lynda was friendly and accommodating. Thanks for a really nice stay.

Lovely, peaceful stay.

The guest house is quiet and spacious. The beds are comfortable and there’s good water pressure in the shower. The host is available immediately for anything you will need. We stayed a week and did day trips all round. It was a very relaxing holiday. DW Cincinnati O

Wonderful place near Ennis

Lynda was amazing with her communication and getting us set up in the cottage. She had the fridge set with milk, juice and yogurt. There was a fresh loaf of soda bread waiting for us when we arrived with jams and butter. The cottage is exactly as described online and beautifully maintained. Sheep, chickens and dogs are on the property, making it seem even more cozy. The property is very secure behind a gate with code for easy access. This is the best of Ireland, so don’t miss a stay here.

Loved it!!

Lynda and her family were so hospitable! The home was clean, bright and a nice change of pace from the hotels we had been staying in during our trip. The home is a 10-15 minute drive to Ennis and other sites. You have got to give some love to the fur babies Nelson and Bailey. If you aren’t a dog person, Lynda is very considerate of that, by my husband and I love dogs, so it was an added bonus for us. W recommend and will stay again when we visit Ireland again.

This VRBO is in a really great location that somehow felt rural, but also was close to Ennis. The unit is beautiful and well kept. It has HUGE showers and plenty of hot water. There's a cot too which is nice if you have kids uncomfortable sharing a double. There is plenty of parking and gated entry. The host has tourist booklets and games available. There IS a bin of legos which thrilled my kids and got them off devices. I loved that the host had small packets of ketchup etc in the fridge, as well as a few cereals, coffees, teas, hot cocoa, bread, and butter available. This made our trip so much easier, particularly as we ended up getting to the VRBO a bit on the later side and didn't have time to get groceries before they closed. This VRBO is a separate cottage on the host's property, but she is lovely and not intrusive. Bring shampoo and body wash. There's no dishwasher or washing machine, but there's a local laundry and dry cleaner in Ennis. We went to Bunratty (the park and the dinner) which was fantastic, and also did a 1.5 hr horse trek (slow and for beginners) at Castlefergus stables. About 2 hrs away you can take the ferry to Innis Mor which is a nice day trip. The Hawk Walk (falconry) at Ashford Castle is driving distance (1.25 hrs) and that was a lot of fun.Drumoland Castle is close as well which is lovely. I could definitely have spent more time in this vrbo and location.
